KINDLUND, NEWTON KENNETH East Lansing, MI. Age 83, passed away January 6, 1999. He was born in Winnepeg, Ontario, Canada March 8, 1915, and has lived in the Lansing area since 1944. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church and was formerly active in Boy Scouting. He was employed with the Lansing Board of Water and Light for 35 years, retiring in 1979; was also associated with Warner-Long Realty Co. and was an avid R.V.er, traveling the country with Virginia and his dog Elkie. Surviving are: Wife, Virginia F., a resident of Burcham Hills Health Care Center; Daughter, Elaine (Robert) Goulet of West Bloomfield; 3 Sons, Newton C. (Joanne) Kindlund of Winter Park, FL., Eric R. (Tammy) Kindlund of East Lansing, Arthur H. Kindlund of East Laning; seven Grandchildren, Kirsten Kindlund, Kelly Brayton, Erika (Garry) Trigger, Eric J. Kindlund, Steven Meyer, Deborah Meyer, Darien Kindlund; nieces and nephews.
