BARDELLI, LEON, Died April 6, 1998 at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Michigan after a brief illness. Preceded in death by Nicolina in 1965 after 26 years of marriage. For the past 22 years he has lived in Sarasota, Florida. Beloved husband of Louise. Loving father to Diane (Raymond) Bilek of Wayne, Richard (Rose) Bardelli of Canton, Christine (Gerald) Barber of Grand Rapids. Stepfather to Catherine and Francis (Madeleine) Pantoni. Loving Grandfather to Michael, Jeffery, Gary, Ramie, Mary, Richard, Jennifer, Edward, Brittany, Jeremy, Jordan, Mark, and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Alfred (Genevieve) Bardelli, Nellie Danich, Cintina Dami, and the late Josephine Lanno, brother-in-law Peter Lanno. Leon was born in Daisytown, Pennsylvania on February 2, 1916 and moved to Dearborn where he attended Fordson High School. He was employed at Ford Motor Co. for 43 years. Along with his brother, Alfred was active in the UAW movement. His fellow workers elected Leon to the positions of Committeeman, Bargaining Committeeman, and President of the Dearborn Glass Plant. After retiring to Florida he continued to be active in the union by helping his fellow retirees until his death. BEEBE, GARY ERNEST of Marietta, GA, formerly of Warren, MI. Died at age 29, March 27, 1998. He was a loving husband, a kind, caring and giving person, who will be missed by all who knew him. Gary is survived by his wife Cynthia A. Beebe, mother Doris Parmentier, step-father Gene Parmentier, father Allen Beebe, two sisters Lucy Manley and Denise Throntveit, three step-sisters, three step-brothers, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends in Michigan and Georgia. RICHMOND, RICHARD ROY, l of Waterford, April 6, 1998, Age 76: husband of the late Dorothy Louise; father of Carol Lee Gosse and Richard Roy Richmond, ll; grandfather of Ryan Michael Gosse; brother of John Richmond of FL, the late Robert Richmond and Frederick Richmond. Mr. Richmond was retired from GM Truck and Coach, served in the U.S. Army during WWll in the 101st Airborne Infantry and transferred to the 82nd Airborne Infantry for the rest of his military career. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart, a member of BPOE #810, VFW #1008 Heart of the Lakes and a life member of the D.A.V. Funeral service Saturday, April 11, 1998, 11:00 am. at Donelson, Johns and Evans Funeral Home, 5391 Highland Rd., Waterford, MI. Rev. Gerald L. Switzer officiating. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Elks Lodge of Sorrow Friday 7:30 p.m.
