FITENY, JOSEPH, Age 78 of Richmond, TX. passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2000 from pulmonary fibrosis. He was born May 9, 1921 in Albany, New York. Mr. Fiteny retired from Ford Motor Company in 1974, and moved his family to Katy, TX from Detroit, where he retired from Igloo Products Corporation in 1985. He was a member of St. Laurence Catholic Parish and a member of the Knights of Columbus since 1977. Mr. Fiteny is survived by his wife of 55 years, Catherine McDonald Fiteny; son, Michael Joseph Fiteny and wife Phyllis; daughters, Linda Jean Holzhauser and husband Jimmy, Kimberly Anne Rumsey and husband Randy, and Denise Marie Sanders; brother, Louis Fiteny and wife Mary; sisters, Mary Kromp and husband Michael, Lillian Bommarito, and Evelyn Nowatka and husband Edward; and grandchildren, Mark Joseph Fiteny and wife Amanda, Matthew James Fiteny, Jill Marissa Fiteny, Jenna Louise Holzhauser, Daniel Joseph Rumsey, David Lynn Rumsey, Elizabeth Ann Rumsey, and Austin Jeffrey Sanders. GOMEZ, CHARLES LUJAN Age 86 of Dearborn. Died Thursday, January 20, 2000 at Oakwood Hospital. A good and hard working man, he was a native of San Antonio, Texas; he came to Detroit as a youth. He was a graduate of Cass Technical High School, where he specialized in graphics. He was a long time member of the International Typographical Union. During WWII he served in the U.S. Navy. Predeceased by his beloved wife Conchita, son Charles and best friend Dorothy. Survivors include daughters Conchita R. Chupko of St. Petersburg, Florida; Barbara J. Tilley and husband Edward of Berkeley, California; Beverly A. Grzesik of Dearborn Heights; and son Dennis C. and wife Connie of Dayton, Nevada. He leaves ten grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, in addition to many nephews and nieces throughout the area. He last resided at Hubbard Manor East where he enjoyed many acquaintanceships. GREENE, SUZANNE C., 50, a long-term diabetic died on January 18, 2000 at her home in Ft. Myers, Florida. She is survived by her beloved Otto Gutowsky, dear sister Diane DeWael, brother-in-law Brian DeWael, many nieces and nephews, and a grandson. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dixie Greene. Suzie was a long-time Detroit area resident and spent most of her employment years with NBD Bank as an officer in the Trust Division. It was her request that any contributions on her behalf be made to your local diabetic association. A Memorial Service will be held at Nativity Church located I-94 and Gratiot in Detroit on Monday, January 24, 2000 at 10 a.m.

KOZLOUSKI, PETER J., Died suddenly while vacationing in Florida on Jan. 17. He was born June 29, 1915 in Burlingame, Kansas to Peter and Bessie (Hutchison) Kozlouski. His family moved to Detroit in the 20 s to begin a new life after a mining disaster ended his family s livelihood. A serious academic, Peter enrolled at General Motors Institute in Flint, graduating in 1938. While in school, he met his future wife, Helen E. (Musser) Kozlouski, a student at Hurley School of Nursing, on a blind date that lasted over 61 years. They married September 10, 1938. Peter s career at General Motors spanned 40 years and brought "Pistol Pete" from machine repair apprentice to his last position as works manager at Allison Operations in Indianapolis. He retired in 1974, was an avid camper, golfer and fisherman and along with his wife, traveled and remained active until his last day. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. We will miss him. Peter s parents and his sister, Betty Fergusen and brother, William Hutchison precede him in death. His surviving family include his wife, Helen; son, David and wife, Sherry Kozlouski; daughter, Mary and husband, G. Robert Gibson; grandchildren, Tanya (Gibson) Leonello and husband, Christopher; Tiffany (Gibson) Mahoney and her husband, Stephen; sisters, Jean Mack and Marian Zieba; a sister-in-law, Juanita Hutchison and several nieces and nephews and many friends across the country. A memorial service will be held at Webster Congregational United Church of Christ, 5484 Webster Church Rd., Dexter, MI (734-426-5115), Saturday, Jan. 29th at 1 p.m.

KRAUSKOFF, WILLIAM N. Age 56. January 20, 2000. Beloved husband of Bonnie. Loving father of Kelly (Matthew) Blair, Michael and Patrick. Dear grandfather of Kieran. A funeral service will be held at Our Lady Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, 9555 St. Marys, Detroit. Tuesday, January 25, at 7pm. Visitation will be 5pm until time of service. LOUD, ROBERT J., Age 74, January 19, 2000. Beloved father of Robert (Dawn) Loud. Loving grandfather of Robert J. III and Chayla R. Loud. Brother of sisters Judy Johnson, John Loud, Fred Loud and Loulla Norman. Services Tuesday 1 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, Hazel Park. Mr. Loud was a conductor for the Conrail Railroad Systems for 32 years. He also service in World War II and the Korea War.
