STONE, CHARLES W., of Bloomfield Hills and formerly of Garden City, died Monday February 2, 1998 at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak. Charles retired as president and general manager of D.W. Zimmerman Manufacturing Company, Inc. of Madison Heights. Growing up in Detroit Charles graduated from St. Bernard High School in 1949. An ardent photographer and avid golfer, Charles and his wife Beverly traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada in their Bluebird motor home. Charles is survived by his wife: Beverly, Children: Sharron (Jeffery) Berryman, Gwendolyn (Donald) Whelpley, Ellen Deette Lucas, Robert Eggert, Beth Ann (Mark) Pereny, and David (Maureen) Eggert, his mother: Amalia (Rose) Stone, his sister: Mildred (Gerald) Seaser, and 13 grandchildren. TREXLER, HERBERT J., Age 86 of N. Fort Myers, FL, died Jan. 25. Born in Allentown, PA and moved to Detroit, MI in 1953. He came to Florida area after retirement from Chrysler Defense Engineering in 1983. He was a member of the BPOE and the Free & Accepted Masons. He enjoyed golfing and sailing. Mr. Trexler is survived by his wife of 64 yrs. Alma, and children, Carole, Ron, Tom, Bud, & Rick. 14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
