REYNOLDS, BRUCE K., of Traverse City, formerly of Grosse Pointe. Mr. Bruce K. Reynolds, 78, of Traverse City died Sunday, March 7, 1999 in Traverse City. Born in Detroit Oct 19, 1920, he had been an engineer at Ford Motor Co. for 35 years prior to retirement. He loved boating and was a former member of the Detroit Yacht Club, Detroit Boat Club, Past Commodore of the Grosse Pointe Coast Guard Auxiliary and Grosse Pointe City Boat Club and had been a member of the Power Squadron in Grosse Pointe. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church, Traverse City. survived by his wife the former Mary Louise Smith, whom he married Nov. 27, 1948 at Christ Church-Grosse Pointe; daughters, Nancy (Bruce) Papet of Troy, Julie (Randy) Payne of Manistee; grandchildren, Lindsey, Jeff, Brian, Elizabeth and Zachary and a sister, Sally (Robert) Petersen of Plymouth. Services will be held Tuesday at 1 pm. from the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, Traverse City. Burial will be in White Chapel, Troy where committal services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. Momorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or to your local Humane Society.

CURRAN, William Thomas "Bill" Of Dexter. Age 89, died Tuesday, March 7, 2000 at Chelsea Community Hospital. He was born October 27, 1910 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of George and Nellie (Burke) Curran. Bill was united in marriage to Lenna M. Bingaman on March 29, 1944 in St. Louis, MO, she preceded him in death on May 16, 1999. In the early 1930 s Bill worked for the New York Central Railroad Passenger Department in Cincinnati before moving to Detroit where he continued working until his retirement in 1975. Throughout his years with the railroad Bill was an active member in the Railroad Employees Union where he held all leadership positions in his local. Bill was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge in both Taylor, MI and Ann Arbor. He was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp. during the Second World War, where he served in the Pacific Theatre. He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor. Bill loved singing, dancing, and recognition of his Irish heritage. He is survived by his daughter Pamela and her husband Robert Korniski of Dexter; and granddaughters Kelly and Erin Korniski of Dexter. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor with The Reverend Kathy Batell officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Grove cemetery in Chelsea. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to Trintiy Evangelical Lutheran Church.
