BOEWE, CAROL M., Age 58, of Pawleys Island, SC, died Tuesday, March 6, 2001 in Georgetown, SC. Born July 17, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Anna Brinkman. Mrs. Boewe was a retired registered nurse and former parish secretary of Mt. Hope Lutheran Church. She was a very active member of St. Peter Lutheran Church where she served on the church council. Mrs. Boewe was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Brinkman. Surviving are her husband, Gary L. Boewe; sons, Eric Boewe and wife Pamela of Clarkson and Kevin Boewe and wife Colleen of O Fallon; brother, Walter Brinkman of Warren; and four grandchildren, Taylor, Maddison, Nicole and Kyle. BYERLEIN, SADIE ANN (nee Kerbawy) 92, formerly of Blissfield, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at her home in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Sadie was born on March 7, 1908 in Blissfield, the daughter of Moses and Esma (Mutter) Kerbawy, and was married on May 15, 1945 to Edson M. Byerlein, who preceded her in death in 1987. She worked as a Registered Nurse for 40 years at various locations throughout the United States. Surviving are four cousins, Grace and Nellie Kerbawy, Ann Reed, and Lucille Degroff, two nieces, and two nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Sam, Nick and Harold Kerbawy, and sister Kathryn Kerbawy. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m at St. Peter s Catholic Church in Blissfield. Burial will follow in Pleasant View cemetery in Blissfield. Visiting hours will be Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Tagsold Funeral Home in Blissfield.
