GUTOWESKI, TIMOTHY A 56, formerly of Detroit, Michigan died Friday afternoon, May 26, 2000. He was born on April 1, 1944 in Detroit to Walter and Lucille (Noga) Gutowski. He was a graduate of DeLaSalle High School in Detroit, Michigan and attended the Lawrence Institute of Technology. He moved to this area in 1975 from Chicago and in 1976 started Contour Roll Company in Grand Haven, which he owned and operated for the past 24 years. During these years, he had Many published rollforming technical papers. Tim was a member of St. Patrick s Catholic Church, a Past President and current member of the Spring Lake Rotary Club, past Chairman of the Board and speaker of FMA International, member and Speaker for SME, member of Safari Club International, and currently serving as council member on MDEC. Tim s passion was hunting, but also an avid skier, liked biking, roller blading, sports, and loved to Travel. He was his daughter s proudest fan when she pitched for GHHS Girl s Varsity Softball Team. He was preceded in death by his father, mother, sister MaryAnn Tuck, brother-in-law Gerard Decook, And a nephew, Brian Dulics. He is survived by his daughter Rebecca, from his marriage to Cynthia (Struck) Gutowski, his fiancee Gillian Edwards, and sister Delphine Decook, nephews; David (Darlene) Decook, Paul (Debbie) Decook, Eric Tuck, Timothy and Joseph Murphy, and Jason Struck, nieces; Doreen Dulics, Kathleen Ducharme, Renee Goodreau, Caroline Cavalier, Vanessa Clover, Raysha Stacey, Christine Murphy, and Danielle and Cassandra Struck. Many grand nieces and nephews also survive him. The celebration of his life will be held Thursday at 10:30 am at St. Patrick s Catholic Church with Father William Langlois officiating. Friends may meet the family Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad in Grand Haven. HENSCHELL, MARY ELIZABETH "BETTY" (nee NORRIS) Age 81. May 26, 2000. Beloved wife for 50 years of the late Cecil E. Henschell. Dearest mother of Cecilia J. (Sanford) Lakin of W. Bloomfield. Precious grandmother of Whitney and Noah. Also survived by son Todd of Burbank, CA. She was born in Loogootee, IN. on April 5, 1919, and grew up in Wayne, MI. From 1986, she and her husband resided in Venice, FL, where she remained after his death in 1996. In 1999, following a diagnoses of Cancer, she moved to the West Bloomfield home of her daughter and son-in-law, where she resided until her death. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 1, 2000 at St. Mary s Roman Catholic Church, 34530 W. Michigan Ave., Wayne 48184, The family will greet callers at the church from 11:00 AM until Mass at 12-Noon. Burial follows the Service in St. Mary s cemetery, Wayne.
