She and her husband lived in Dearborn for 32 years. For 28 of those years she worked at Commonwealth Brass in Detroit as an inspector. In 1989 they moved to Mt. Pleasant. Survivors include her beloved husband, Cornelius Halter of Mt. Pleasant; daughter-in-law, Nancy Lux of Mt. Pleasant; and a sister-in-law, Esther Wood of Redford. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Richard; a son, Charles Lux Sr.; brother, Daniel Wood; and sisters, Molly Lucas and Ann Holmes.

SIKORA, ROSE MARIE, Age 73, Born November 22, 1927 in Detroit, MI. Died May 28, 2001 in her residence in Warren, MI. Rosemary moved to Warren in 1984 where she started getting involved in her community. She was involved in the Bi-County Hospital Guild for many years. She joined the Kiwanis Club of Detroit-Denby, eventually transferring to the Kiwanis Club of Warren where she was actively involved in helping others. Even at age 60, Rosemary learned to use a computer enabling her to keep in touch with family and friends near and far. She spent many hours researching and assembling the family tree. She used her computer to strengthen her mind and keep growing. Rosemary also found spiritual fulfillment from her involvement in her bible study Fellowship and furthered her community involvement by getting elected to her condominium association Board of Directors. Rosemary s outlook on life was refreshing. She continued to grow as a person up until the end. She taught us that you are never too old to learn new things and help others. She is predeceased by her husband Stanley L. and survived by her children; Mark (Linda), Cheryl (Jeffrey) Summers, Kathleen (Robert) LaPierre, Neil (Joellen Silberman) and Stella (Chad) Keesling; also grandmother of seven grandchildren.
