Always very artistic, she attended classes at the Society of Art & Crafts and the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Association. DONALDSON, HILDEGARD GEITHNER passed away peacefully in the presence of her family at her home in Brighton Sunday Morning, January 11. She was born on October 11, 1931 in Detroit the daughter of Karl and Emmy Geithner. On October 4, 1952 she was married to Raymond F. Donaldson in Detroit. Their homes were in Harper Woods, Chicago, Dearborn and Brighton. Hilde was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Brighton and the Messiah Lutheran Church, Detroit. Hilde was known for her unwavering love of life, her family and God. She traveled worldwide and was a wonderful skier, sailor, swimmer, gardener, volunteer, music lover, wife, mother, Grandmother "Oma" and Sister. Surviving in addition to her loving husband, Ray are one sister Hanna, two sons, Kirk (Kristin) and Kevin (Michelle) and four grandchildren, Kelley, Stacey, Ian and Nathan. Dear father of Wrae (Steve) Moore, Kenneth (Lynn) Misner, Larry (Deborah) Misner and the late Ronald Misner. Grandfather of Eileen Nunan; Alan and Amanda Moore; Sarah and Renae Misner; and Aaron and Allison Misner. Great-grandfather of Jonathan, Jeremy and Jeffrey Nunan. Services will be held in Florida. POLLOCK, LOIS JEANE, Age 70. Of Lakes of The North; and formerly of Boyne City. Died on Saturday, January 10, 1998 at McReynolds Rehabilitation Center in Gaylord. Lois was born on February 3, 1927 in Detroit the daughter of Charles and Opal Donze Kosanke. She graduated from Grosse Pte. High School. On September 29, 1951 she married Charles Pollock. From 1982-1996, Mrs. Pollock lived in Boyne City where she was a member of the Garden Club, Boyne City Historical Society, Questers and the Boyne City Study Club. She was also a member of Federated Garden Clubs. Survivors include her husband Charles of Lakes of the North; two sons Christopher (Nancy) Pollock of White Lake and Carl Pollock of Olive Branch, Mississippi; two granddaughters Kaitlyn Pollock and Erin Pollock, ; brother Charles Kosanke of Grosse Pte. Woods and her mother Dorothy Johanson of St. Clair Shores. She was preceded in death by a son Cary and a brother Robert Kosanke. Entombment will be on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at Woodlawn cemetery, in Detroit. The family wishes memorials to the American Diabetes Society.
