KENT, VIRGINIA MAY (BALDWIN LINSCOTT) Age 73. Of St. Petersburg, FL; formerly of Detroit, MI and Newland, NC, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Feb. 21, 1998. She died at Sand Lake Hospital in Orlando, FL. Born May 11, 1924 in McClure, VA. She moved to St. Petersburg, FL in 1984 from Oahu, Hawaii. She was a licensed practical nurse for North Rehabilitation Center and a member of Norwood Baptist Church both of St. Petersburg, FL; also served as a community volunteer. Daughter of the late Roby and Cora (Coffey) Baldwin of Newland, NC and sister of the late Beatrice Hartley, Clarence Baldwin, Carlos Baldwin, Hoover Baldwin and Archie Baldwin; survivors include her husband Albert Kent of St. Petersburg, FL; two daughters and son-in-laws Inez and Steven McClain of Madison Hts., MI and Aila and David McClain of Warren, MI; three granddaughters Kristina, Kelleen and Jennifer; and a great grandson Kurtis all of Michigan; three brothers and sister-in-laws Harrison and Edna Baldwin of Banner Elk, NC; Tivies and Martha Baldwin of Portage, IN and Claude and Elmae of Newland, NC; two sisters and brother-in-laws Hazel and Ron Collins of South Lyon, MI and Bonnie and Cecil Lowery of Newland, NC; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
