HIBBARD, EDWIN ARMSTRONG (TED) Age 82, of East Grand Rapids, passed away February 27th at Porter Hills Presbyterian Village. Mr. Hibbard was a CPA with Ernst and Ernst from 1942 to 1978. He became a partner in 1962. After his retirement he worked as an emeritus instructor of Music at Aquinas College and served as a volunteer for Hospice of Michigan. He was very active with Rotary International and the University Club in Grand Rapids. An avid sailor, Ted was a founding member of the Torch Lake Yacht Club and belonged to the Kent Country Club. He was a graduate of the University of Michigan where be belonged to Chi Psi. He served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and fought in Okinawa. As a long time parishioner at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Grand Rapids, he served as a lay reader and Church Treasurer for many years. Mr. Hibbard is survived by his daughter and son-in-law; Audrey and Brian Hall of Grand Rapids, grandchildren Naomi Marie Short, Edwin Earl Short, Charles Edward Hall, and Brian Jeffrey Hall. Many nieces and nephews including a special nephew, John W. Hibbard and his sister-in-law Betty Hibbard. Funeral today 1:30 p.m. at St. Marks Episcopal Church, Grand Rapids. KOTTKE, LILLIAN, Age 87, passed away on February 18, 2002 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was born on December 11, 1914 in Standish, Michigan to Fred Lawrence Neeley and Agnes Kenny Neeley. Lillian, a former resident of Birmingham, Michigan moved to Florida in 1971. She relocated to Corpus Christi in 1999. Survivors include two daughters, Carol Kottke Swope (Ronald) of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and Janice Kottke of Corpus Christi, Texas; two grandchildren, Holly Swope (Philip Hayes) and R. Bradley Swope. A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, February 26, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of First United Methodist Church, 900 N. Shoreline, Corpus Christi, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Lillian's honor to the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer Sunday School Program (1800 W. Maple, Birmingham, MI 48009) or to the Eider Care Ministry at First United Methodist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas.

MILLER, MICHAEL J., Age 57 of Grand Rapids, formerly of Detroit, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2002 at his home. Surviving are his mother; Virginia M. Miller, sister; Patricia Miller, both of Sterling Heights, long time business partner; Philip K. Woodward, of Grand Rapids. Mr. Miller was CEO of Video Visioneering, leaders in video and broadcasting special effects, and was former CEO of PC s4U, an open architecture computer custom design, construction, and software application company. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, 11:00 AM at St. Blase Catholic Church, 12151 E. 15 Mile Rd., Sterling Heights, Interment in Resurrection cemetery, Sterling Heights. Relatives and friends may meet his family at the church Saturday, 10:00 AM until mass begins. For those who wish, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society.
