BARRETT, DOROTHY R., Of Johnson Lake Rd., died December 2, 2001 in Marquette. She was born in Huron County, MI and was a former Dearborn resident. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University and Clearly College and had been employed as a teacher for the Dearborn Public Schools prior to retiring in 1975. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband C.S. Barrett, her parents and a brother. She is survived by several nephews.

CORSETTE, RICHARD S. (DICK) passed away December 2, 2001 at TenderCare Nursing Home in Gaylord, MI. He was 72. Mr. Corsette leaves his beloved wife and best friend, Gail. The Corsettes were together for 49 years. Also surviving are their three children, Lynda Stark, Richard (Terry) Corsette and Elizabeth (Chad) Noffsinger; his dear grandchildren, Rick Rieden, Ryane Stark, Katie and Torey Corsette, Alex Gabriel and Logan Noffsinger. Mr. Corsette leaves a brother, Harold (Joy) Corsette and a sister, Marjorie (Fred) Sayles. He graduated from Michigan State University and served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. FORTAIN, EARL J., JR. Age 58, of Point Place, died Tuesday, December 4, 2001, in Riverside Mercy Hospital. Born in Detroit, MI on March 1, 1943 to Earl J., Sr., and Beatrice (Krauss), Earl was a 1961 graduate of DeLaSalle High School and a 1970 graduate of the University of Toledo. He served the Point Place community as a pharmacist at the Bayview Pharmacy for 25 years. He was a member of the Point Place Business Association, the Pharmacist's Drug Club, and the Cathedral of praise. He was a friend to many Point Place residents. Earl was preceded in death by his father, Earl, Sr. Left to cherish his memories are his mother, Beatrice; son, Earl "EJ" Fortain, III; daughters, Barbara Abair and Linda (Ken) Appleton; grandchildren, Brittany, Krystal, Anna, Kevin, Nicole, Dane and Austin; brother, Kenneth (Patty) Fortain; and sister, Sharon (Lee) Allard.
