MAC LEOD JAMES A. Age 85 of Novi. The greatest generation has lost another member. Jim, a former plumbing inspector for the City of Detroit and a member of numerous local musical groups, died Friday, November 17, 2000 after several months of ill health, he would have celebrated his 86th birthday on November 27th. Mr. MacLeod was preceded in death by his wife Marion. He is survived by his loving daughters Joyce (the late Ken) Ward of Philadelphia, and Grace (Roger) Wilfong of Novi as well as his grandchildren Kathi Sartori of Jackson, Tennessee. Kevin Vicklund of Novi and Dawn Wilfong of Novi. He is also survived by his great grandchildren Kayci and Cody Sartori. Bob was a self-employed roofing contractor in the Detroit and Dearborn areas. Survivors include his wife Shirley; sons Jim and John; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one brother Jerry. BERNITT, JAMES, December 5, 2001, Age 72. He served in the Military during the Korean War, after which he went to Milwaukee and worked for Charter Wire for 10 years. He belonged to the FOE while he resided in Milwaukee. He moved to Farmington and worked at Profile Steel and Wire Inc. for 38 years before he retired. He was a Charter member of the NRA and a member of VFW Post #14, 000. He married Margaret Juneau on June 22, 1963. Beloved husband of Margaret. Dear father of James William and Cynthia Lynn.
