McLANE, ORLO M., JR., 61 of Harsens Island, died December 30 in his home, He was born June 29, 1938 in Algonac. He married Mary Ann Brown August 25, 1961 in Dearborn. Mr. McLane was employed by General Motors at the Tech Center as a Metallurgist for 43 years. He graduated from Algonac High School and attended Marygrove College, Highland Park Jr. College and Wayne State University. He was Past President of the Harsens Island-St. Clair Flats Association and was director since 1974. Mr. McLane is survived by his wife Mary Ann; a brother Jon C. (Sharon) McLane Sr. of Harsens Island and a sister Mary Alice (Jim) Wright of Green Bay, WI. and nieces and nephews. MILNE, SNOW, Age 102, of Flint died on Thursday, December 30, 1999 at Fostrian Manor. Mrs. Milne was born December 19, 1897 in Wayne County, West Virginia, the daughter of Marshall and Mary (Paine) Ferguson. She spent 60 years in Detroit, MI. Snow moved to Tennessee for 17 years before coming to Flint. She spent the last 5 years in Fostrian Manor. Mrs. Milne was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for many years. Surviving are Children, Charlotte Hudgens of Holts Summit, MO, Mary Houton of Flint, Carol (Larry) Clifford of Lexington, KY; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Milne in 1977. Daughter Ruth Carter in 1999, and grandson Ronald Carter in 1977. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be arranged in Johnson City, TN at a later date. Special thanks to the staff of Fostrian Manor for their care and kindnesses shown to Snow during her stay.
