BILICKI, JOSEPH J., Age 86, a Troy resident since 1953, died January 30th, 2002 of congestive heart failure at his home. Founder of RE-NU Electric Co., Est. 1941 in Detroit. Joe was born in Detroit and grew up in the thumb of MI on a farm near Caro. He moved to the Detroit area in 1934 after 38 years in the electric motor business. He sold his business to his brother in 1979 and retired. He was a member and served as a director and president of the Electrical Apparatus and Service Assoc. in 1963-1964, a charter member of the Clawson-Troy Elks, life time member of the Polish American Cultural Center of Troy, Tuscola County Polish American Club and the Moose Club. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing golf. Beloved Husband of Mary for over 64 years. Preceded in death by his father Raymond Coleman of Pittsburgh. Retired from U.S. Probations and Parole Office in 1995. Held a Bachelor of Arts degree, Master of Arts and Master of Social Work. He was respected and loved by many for his gentle, humanistic nature, his generosity, and his warm, witty sense of humor. He was a great thinker who took a genuine interest in anyone with whom he interacted, but even more, was known fondly to family and friends as simply, a "great man, " who cared deeply for all in his life. His true passion was his love for his family. He will be truly missed. Visitation will be at John F. COOPER, MARGARET A., age 70, Beloved wife of the late John Crawford Cooper. Mother of Michael Crawford Cooper of Howell, MI and Elizabeth Ann (Kenneth) Elder of Bloomfield Hills, MI. Grandmother to Silver Nolan Cooper and Stiver Livia Cooper of Rockford, MI and Katherine Elizabeht Elder, John Crawford Elder and Christina Lynne Elder of Bloomfield Hills, MI. Daughter of the late George Glaser and Mildred Lagina-Glaser of Waterford, MI. Sister of Delores (Toni) Galeana of Clarkston, MI. Loved and greatly missed by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Margaret served the City of Auburn Hills for many years, most recently, as Councilwomen. She was first elected to Council in November 1991 and served through January 2002. While serving in this capacity she was also Mayor Pro Tem from November 1999 through November 2001. She also served on the Auburn Hills Planning Commission from November 1997 through January 2002 as well as the Beautification Committee from January 1990 through December 1991. Margaret was instrumental in the development of the Auburn Hills Library and was elected to the Library Board for a six-year term starting November 1985. She served the city and community in countless other ways too numerous to list. She was well respected and admired and will be greatly missed by many. There will be a Public Tribute honoring her service to the City of Auburn Hills on Friday, February 1, 2002 from 7:00 to 8:30 at the Auburn Hills Public Library, 3400 E. Seyburn, Auburn Hills. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2002 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, 5500 N. Adams Rd., Troy. CROUCH, ROY E., SR., died at his home in Southfield, MI on January 26, 2002 after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife Mary, six children, 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is also survived by a sister and three brothers. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of employment. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 31st at St. Matthew A.M.E. FITZGERALD, MARY MADELYN (CATALANO) 88, a resident of St. Clair Shores for 57 years, died Tuesday, January 29 at Bon Secours Hospital in Grosse Pointe. She was born August 22, 1913 in Nashville, Tennessee. Mrs. Fitzgerald was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her ten children: Mary Dworin (Lawrence), Patricia Sarotte (Carmen), Sharon Lavasile (Raymond), James Fitzgerald (Edith), Elizabeth Decker, Michael Fitzgerald, Maureen Grosshuesch (Kent), Kathleen Henry (George), Thomas Fitzgerald and Daniel Fitzgerald. Also surviving are 22 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fitzgerald was the widow of Gerald J. Fitzgerald, a prominent local businessman who was a Past Grand Knight of the Lakeshore Council of the Knights of Columbus. Mrs. Fitzgerald was a former insurance agent for the Michigan Mutual Liability Co. and a homemaker for 67 years. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church for 55 years and a former member of the Daughters of Isabella. She was devoted to both her family and her faith. Visitation will be from 5-9pm Thursday and 2-9 Friday at the A.H. Peters Funeral Home, 20705 Mack Ave. at Vernier Rd., Grosse Pointe Woods with a rosary/scripture service at 7:00 pm Friday. She will lie instate at St. Joan of Arc Church, 21620 Greater Mack, St. Clair Shores from 9:45 am Saturday until time of mass at 10:15 am. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre cemetery in Southfield.

HAMILTON, JAMES CAWOOD Born July 27, 1920 in Battle Creek, MI. passed away January 29, 2002 in Ann Arbor, MI. Former resident of Port Huron and Dearborn. Jim enjoyed a career in aviation as a corporate pilot for Ford Motor Company, retiring in 1980. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Marie and children Christine Erlandson and husband Bob; Jack Runchey and Kim; Mary Busch and husband Ron; Jim Hamilton and wife Stephanie; Richard Runchey and wife Janie; grandchildren Jason Leimbach and wife Stacy; R.J. Busch; Ursula and James Hamilton and their mother Maty Hamilton; Scott, Mark and Kurt Runchey; and great grand-daughter Hope Christine Leimbach. His kindness and integrity will continue to touch and inspire all of us for many years to come. Although he has embarked on his final flight, we will keep him in our hearts forever.
