TARTE, WILLIAM A. T., Age 86 of Sarasota. Died April 9, 1999. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and came to Sarasota in 1971, until 1981 at which time he moved to Marathon in the Florida Keys and returned to Sarasota in November 1997. He retired 28 years ago as a Photoengraver in Detroit, Michigan. A member of Graphic Communications International Union Local 289 of Detroit. Formerly a member of the Moose Lodge of Marathon, Florida. Mr. Tarte is a WWII Veteran of the Normandy Invasion serving in the Army. Survivors include his daughter Karen Lovegrove, son-in-law Carl Lovegrove and granddaughter Rebecca Lovegrove, all of Sarasota, Florida. He is preceded in death by his wife Helen Tarte and Parents Caroline and William Tarte.

ANTRIM, WARREN W., of Arden, NC. Died Saturday, April 8, 2000 at his residence. Warren was born to Earl and Kathleen Williams Antrim on October 26, 1932 in Muncie, Indiana. He retired from General Motors Corp. after 40 years of service and was preceded in death by a sister, Margie L. Doolittle. He is survived by his wife, Betty Lankas Antrim; two daughters, Lynnette M. Kammer and her husband Nicholas, their children, Thomas, Erin and Megan of Spring Valley, Ohio, Lisa K. Antrim and her husband, Arturo Ornelas, their children, Abbie and Garth of Houston, Texas; three sons, Paul F. and his wife Holly Antrim, their children Angel, Jeremy and Shane of Fowlerville, Michigan, Michael P. and his wife Louann Antrim, their son, Michael of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, William R. and his wife Karen Antrim if Milford, Michigan; one sister, Myrna J. Frederick of Winter Haven, Florida; one brother, David E. Antrim of Yale, Michigan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be said Tuesday, April 11, 2000, at 10:00 am in St. Barnabas Catholic Church by Reverend Roger Arnsparger. Burial will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park. BLISS "BARETTA", DONALD JACK Age 56. Died suddenly on Monday, April 3, 2000. This colorful Cass Corridor resident was a retired railroad engineer who loved to recount stories of his many and various adventures. Born September 10, 1943, "Baretta" was a veteran of the U.S. Army, an avid motorcycle enthusiast, and a man who loved music of all kinds. A military funeral and service will be held on Tuesday, April 11th at 11:30 AM at Fort Custer in Battle Creek. A Memorial rememberance in "Baretta s" honor will be hosted by Julie and Dan on Friday, April 14, 2000 at 6:00 PM at the Old Miami Bar, 3930 Cass Ave. Detroit, MI. (313)831-3830).
