TREEFUL, JOHN E., 79, of Prudenville, MI, died Friday, April 6, 2001, at the Spectrum Health-Betterworth Campus Hospital in Grand Rapids. Son of the late Emmanuel Treeful & the former Alice Vanasse. He served in the CCC before entering the US Navy during World War II. While in the service he became the East Coast Boxing Champion & also the Boxing Champion of the USS WASP.
