EBERT, KATHLEEN J. "KAY" died January 26, 2001 at the age of 79 of Gilbert, AZ, formerly of St. Johns, MI. She was born in Detroit on July 8, 1921. Kay married Robert A. "Bob" Ebert in Detroit on October 17, 1942 and he preceded her in death on July 10, 1997. Surviving are one son, Robert A. (Leslie) Ebert of Santa Ana, CA, one daughter, Celia A. Ebert of Woodstock, GA, and two grandchildren, Shannon K. Ebert of Santa Ana, CA and Chad M. Ebert, of Redmond, WA. A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, February 16, 2001 at the First Congregational Church, St. Johns, MI. The family will receive friends starting 10:00 Friday until service time. A luncheon will be held immediately afterwards at the Oakland Place Bed and Breakfast, 506 S. Oakland St., St. Johns, MI to celebrate her life and memory. Interment will be at Mt. GIBSON, REV. JAMES H. succumbs to Cancer. Rev. Gibson, an A.M.E. minister who was 68, died February, 9, 2001. Rev. Gibson was an airman, teacher, and minister. He is survived by his wife, Glenna; a son, Anthony; two daughters, Alison and Vanessa; five brothers, Ralph, Gary, George, Samuel and Malachi Gibson; two sisters, Vairee Thompson and Lou Willie Rutherford and many relatives and friends.
