CONLEY, MARY AGNES, Age 76, of Fenton, March 15, 2001. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Interment in St. John cemetery. Visitation 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. A Vigil Service 4 p.m. Sunday. Born August 2, 1924 in Flint to Claude E. and Mary (Cahill) Lantz. She had resided in Fenton since 1975, coming from Detroit. She was the Salutatorian for the St. Mary High School graduating class of 1942. She was a graduate of Burgess Nursing School 1945. She was the Night Supervisor for St. Joseph Hospital, Flint and also had been employed by Mt. Carmel Mercy Hospital, Detroit. Surviving are ten children, Peggy (John) Shalhoub of Warren, Tony (Jane) of Exton, PA, Paul (Shelley) of White Lake, Patrick (Emelita) of Fenton, Roxanne Conley of Royal Oak, Judy (John) Dowell of Kodiak, AK, Cecilia (Art) Swanke of Pittsburgh, PA, Matthew (Becky) of Westland, Pancho (Wendy) of Flushing and Kathleen (Tony) Haines of Fenton; 21 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and sister-in-law, Margaret Weiss of Flint. Mrs. Conley was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Conley; infant daughter, Nadine; brother, George Lantz; and sister, Ellen Trantham.

JAMES, FRANCIS L., Saline, MI formerly of Dearborn Heights. Age 81, died Thursday, March 15, 2001 at the Evangelical Home in Saline. He was born December 22, 1919 in Pittston, PA the son of Edward and Mary (Kelly) James. He had worked as an administrative assistant for the various presidents of the UAW for 35 years. On November 20, 1941 in Newark, NJ he married Anne D. Ruff and she survives. In addition to his wife Anne, he is survived by a son, Robert (Theresa) James of Saline and a daughter, Judith (Ronald) Carlson of Dillion, CO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, Douglas Wood, Kerry Carlson, Kelly Warner, Alicia Scog, Laura James, Jonathon James and Harrison James. Cremation has taken place. Friends may begin calling at the Robinson-Bahnmiller Funeral Home in Saline on Sunday 2:00-5:00 PM with a memorial Eulogy to be given at 4:30 PM. Memorial contributions may be given to the Huron Valley Humane Society or to the American Lung Association. Envelopes available at the funeral home.

KEATING, REVEREND FR. DOUGLAS March 14, 2001. Age 82 of Avila Beach, CA. After serving as a Trappist Monk at Our Lady of Gethsemane in Kentucky, he was ordained a Roman Catholic Priest in 1951. Preceded in death by his brother J.W. Robert Keating. survived by seven nieces and nephews.
