VANDEWIELE, NORMAN REMI South Lyon, MI. Died on Saturday, January 16, 1999 at Arbor Hospice. He was born on March 3, 1928 in Detroit, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Remi and Maria (Deneweth) Vandewiele. He is survived by Leona "Lee" and his five daughters; Norma (David) Beauchamp, Laurie (Thomas) Bok, Nancy (Ernie) Milligan, Mary (Tim) Mayleben, Janice (Curt) Ketelhut. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren. Visitation Monday from 3-9 at Phillips Funeral Home, 122 W. Lake (10 Mile) South Lyon, (248) 437-1616, with a Rosary at 7:00 on Monday. Funeral Mass Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with final visitation at 10:30 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, South Lyon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arbor Hospice.

VAN VAALS, SYD, Died on January 17, 1999 at the University of Michigan Health Center, Ann Arbor, at age 46. He was an employee of Barton Melow Construction Co. CHALL, PATRICK A., 45. Unexpectedly passed on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000. He is loved by his family, friends and community. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen (Kelly) Chall; and two sons, Richard and Joseph, all of Newport News, VA. He is the son of Len and Betty Chall of Detroit; and brother to Michael and Patrice Chall of Detroit, and Timothy Chall and his wife, Josie of Andrews Air Force Base, MD. He was a 16 year veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a respected member of the Peninsula Wrestling Association and Past President of Denbigh Woodside Youth Wrestling Association. He was a graduate of Henry Ford High School, Class of 1972. He will be loved and missed by everyone. Funeral services will be held at Umphlert Funeral Home, Newport News, Virginia.
