BRECKENRIDGE, NICKIE ANN passed away on July 20, 1998 at the age of 48 in Denver, CO. survived by mother, Ellen Voigt, sisters; Cathy Lounsberry and Sharon Pierovich, brother, Robert Voigt and nephews and nieces.

BURNS, LIONEL E., Age 72, of Rapid City, formerly of Sterling Heights, died Sunday, July 19, 1998. Born April 24, 1926, in Detroit, he was the son of Albert and Viva (Green) Burns. On June 18, 1949, in Detroit, he married Elaine Sankey. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II. A retired brick mason, Lionel had been employed for the last 25 years by the Warren Consolidated School System. He was a member of the Kalkaska Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 8684 and of the Bellaire American Legion Post. Lionel enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Elaine of Rapid City; a son, Robert (Cynthia) Burns of Harrison Twp.; a daughter, Gail (Terrence) Finley of Richmond; a grandson, Tyler Finley; and many nieces and nephews. Lionel was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and five sisters. Services were held 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Elk Rapids Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. The Rev. Kay Coombs officiated. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or to the charity of one's choice.
