She was born January 10, 1952 in Detroit, MI, a daughter of Orville and Stella Delatoski Chapman. She married Patrick Francken on June 16, 1990 in Lincoln, NE. He survives. Other survivors include a son, Atticus Fracken of Normal, IL. Her parents preceded her in death. Mrs. Francken was a para-legal for State Farm Insurance Corporate Office located in Bloomington, IL. She received her B.A. from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. She also attended the Philadelphia Institute for Para-Legal Studies

KAPANOWSKI, MARGIE HILL Age 81, passed away July 21, 1999, following a stroke at the Holston Healthcare Center in Knoxville, TN. Margie was one of eight children born to Ira and Fanny Hill in Pikeville, KY. She was the last surviving member of this family. Margie moved to Detroit to work in the defense plants during W.W.II. Her life's work was working as a seamstress and ladies fashions at Winkelmans in Detroit. She married her husband Jerome in 1948 and they raised four children together. Margie was a member of St. Paul Church. She was active in organizing the unions in the coal mines of Kentucky. She was also an active member of the Democratic Party and worked to improve the rights of the mental ill. Survivors; husband of 50 years: Jerome, four loving children, Kent Harris, of Seymour, Gary Kapanowski, of Philadelphia, Brenda Libbrecht, of Seymour, Vikki Kapanowski, of Detroit, MI. Loving son in-law: Al Libbrecht, of Seymour. Only grandson: Brandon Jerome Libbrecht. Several nieces & nephews from all over the country. In life she loved her animals, wild and domestic. She will be missed by her dog Sheba and cat Sam II. Funeral service 8 p.m. Sunday Berry Chapel. Rev. George Ott and Rev. Agnes Gilbertson officiating. Family and friends will meet at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy at 11 a.m. Monday and proceed to TN Veterans cemetery for noon interment service. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy
