Father of six sons, Allen, George, Darrin, Eric, Darryl and Vengula, two daughters, Angela (Dwight) Patton and Rani Boone, sisters, Anna Lou (Wilburn) Kyle, Carolyn Sue Snodgrass, both of Dayton, OH, Linda Faye Garrett and three brothers, Dallas (Shirley), Milford (Sylvia) Snodgrass, all of Harrogate, TN and Welzie (Audrey) of Detroit and one sister in law, Marion Snodgrass of Detroit. Twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Viewing will be held on Sunday, July 23 at Heavenly Gates Funeral Home, 11583 W. Outer Dr. at Lahser, from 4-9PM. KNORR, NORMAN F. 84. passed away July 16. Mr. Knorr was a graduate of East Detroit High and Detroit Business School. He spent his career in the East Detroit Post Office from 1937 until his retirement in 1970 as Postmaster. Surviving are his wife Henrietta of Greenwood SC and three children: Norman A (Joan) of Freemont, MI., Linda (Don) Becker of Silver Spring, MD, Janet (Mike) Richardson of Greenwood SC.; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren; brothers Karlton (Marge) of Dora, Fl, Armand and Donald of Eastpointe. Memorial service at Peace Lutheran Church, Warren on August 1 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation at Buehler Funeral Home, 26429 Gratiot, Roseville, on July 31, 6-9 p.m. There will be an LFA service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Peace Lutheran of Warren, St. Peters Lutheran of Eastpointe, Bethesda Home of Appleton, WI or Alzheimers Association.
