Anna C. Leininger Drill, 89, of Mankato,, formerly of Courtland and Minnesota Lake, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Mankato House Health Center.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato, with Rev. Peter Nosbush officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Minnesota Lake.
Visitation is Tuesday from 9 -10:30 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Mankato Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements.
Anna was born July 24, 1915, in rural Wells, MN to Paul and Johanna (Ignazewski) Kulla. She was united in marriage to Clyde Leininger on April 14, 1936 in Wells, MN. She and her husband lived on their farm near Minnesota Lake. After his death in May of 1967, she moved into Minnesota Lake. She married LeRoy Drill on January 31, 1973 in Mankato. She moved to Courtland in 1973 and lived there until LeRoy died in April of 2001.
Anna then moved to Mankato. Anna was a farm wife helping her husband with farming She also worked for Nordaas American Homes and Smith's Variety Store in Minnesota Lake. She one of the founding member of the Festag Celebration, and served as chairman of the Miss Festag contest. She also served on several committees at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Minnesota Lake. She enjoyed homemaking, dancing, hunting, fishing, gardening, sewing, crocheting and traveling.
She is survived by three daughters, Addie (William) Armstrong of St. Cloud, Carol (Grant) Beske of Princeton, NJ, Marsha (Michael) Dawson Burgraff of Fairmont a stepson, Richard (Pearl) Drill of rural Courtland; grandchildren, Duane (Joy) Woitas, Larry (Peggy) Woitas, Thomas, Robert and Paul Armstrong, Amy (Robert) McGinn, Kirsten Beske and husband, David Dunn, Galen (Mitos) Beske, Gavin (Lise) Beske, Andrea Beske, Shanna and Karrah Dawson; a stepgrandson, Marvin (Lisa) Drill; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Katie Woitas in December of 2003, step-grandson, Michael Drill and a brother, Phillip.

Kaye Green, 63, of rural New Ulm, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 4 - 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 18, at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. There will be no formal services.
Kaye is survived by her husband, Tom Green of rural New Ulm; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Brian Mitchell of Olympia, Washington; son, Ben Green, Ph.D. of Hastings, Nebraska; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jackie and Harold Deal of Tracy, Joyce and Walt Fust of Brainerd; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles "Chuck" and Lois Reinert of Tracy; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a niece and a nephew.
Kaye Lucille Reinert was born on October 8, 1941, in Tracy to Ervin and Lucille (Peterson) Reinert. She graduated from Mankato State College with a degree in education. On August 7, 1965, she married Tom Green in Minneapolis. For over 35 years Kaye taught English in the New Ulm Junior and Senior High Schools. She was a founding member and the first director of the New Ulm Figure Skating Club and served on the boards of the Brown County Fair and the New Ulm Hockey Association. She was a talented woman with a gift for decorating and gardening. Kaye was a devoted mother and wife who will be greatly missed by her family.
In lieu of flowers memorials are to be given to the donor's choice.

Marie Radel, 99, of St. Cloud, formerly of Wabasso, died Friday, Nov. 12, 2004, at Carefree Assisted Living, St. Cloud.
Services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Nelson-Martin Funeral Service, Redwood Falls with burial in Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery, Willow Lake Twp., Redwood County, Minn.
Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Nelson-Martin Funeral Service and Tuesday at the church, one hour prior to the service.
She is survived by Norma Jean Krueger of Redwood Falls; Eunice Gruendemann of Brainerd and Orloene Thom of North Mankato; 18 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
She was born April 11, 1905, in Hayward, Wis. to Karl and Mathilda (Neibuhr) Timm.

Gertrude Stockmann, 96, of Stewart, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at the Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park.
Funeral service is 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 19, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Fernando. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Thursday, at the Hughes Funeral Home in Stewart and continues for one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
She is survived by her son Jim Stockmann of rural Stewart, daughter Valeria Schultz of Alexandria; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was born April 6, 1908, in Grafton Township, Sibley County, Minn., to Otto and Eliza (Steinke) Gehrke.

Robert E. Raddatz, 90, of Redwood Falls, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, at the Redwood Area Hospital.
Funeral services are 10:30 a.m., Friday, at St. John's Evangelical Church in Redwood Falls. Visitation is 4-7 p.m., Thursday, at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls, and continues one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Burial is in the Redwood Falls Cemetery.
He is survived by his sons, Roger Raddatz and Merlyn Raddatz, both of rural Redwood Falls; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Robert E. Raddatz was born March 15, 1914, in Redwood Falls to Emil and Mary (Marquardt) Raddatz.

Amy Renner, 90, formerly of New Ulm and Courtland, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, at the Sleepy Eye Care Center in Sleepy Eye.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 20, at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm with Pastor Jeffrey Bovee officiating. Burial will be in the New Ulm City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of service at the church on Saturday.
Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm is handling the arrangements for the family.
Amy is survived by her sons, Jerome Renner and his wife, Rhelda, of Sleepy Eye, Ronald Renner and his wife, Marlys, of Spicer; a daughter-in-law, Janet (Renner) Stadick and her husband, Ben, of Lafayette; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arthur Renner in November of 1966; a son, Paul Renner, a sister; three brothers; and a great-granddaughter.
Amy J. Renner, the daughter of Albert and Emma (Schultz) Hummel, was born on November 5, 1913 in Sleepy Eye. She was a graduate of the Sleepy Eye High School. On April 28, 1932, she was united in marriage to Arthur C. Renner. After marriage they lived in Courtland where they owned and operated Courtland Feeds from 1945 to 1968. Amy moved to New Ulm in the late 1970s. She was a former member of the Courtland Evangelical Lutheran Church and was a charter member of the Martha Circle at church. She was currently a member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. While living in New Ulm Amy volunteered her time with the Gray Ladies at the Hospital. She became a resident of the Sleepy Eye Care Center in 1995.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School, or to the donor's choice.

Rosella Asplund, 71, of Buffalo Lake, died Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2004, at the Renville County Hospital in Olivia.
Funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 20, at 11 a.m. at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo Lake, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Buffalo Lake, and will continue for one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Arrangements with Hughes Funeral Home.
Rosella is survived by her husband Robert Asplund Sr. of Buffalo Lake; and sons, Robert Asplund Jr. of Danube and Randall Asplund of Delano.
Rosella Ann Asplund was born Dec. 15, 1932, in Buffalo Lake, Minn., to Edward and Harriet (Muehlberg) Ebent.

Harold Bauer, 84, of Penn Township (rural Brownton), died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2004, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
Funeral service is 11 a.m., Saturday, at St. John's Lutheran Church (Mountville) rural Gaylord. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the New Auburn VFW.
Visitation will be Friday 4-8 p.m. and Saturday 8-9 a.m. at the Hantge Funeral Chapel in Brownton and continue one hour prior to services at the church.

Riley Elizabeth Miller, October 31, 2004 November 15, 2004. Loving infant daughter of Jeffrey and Andrea Miller of St. Michael. Loving sister of Regan.
Further survived by paternal grandparents, Tom and Maggie Miller of Winthrop; maternal grandparents, Jim and Letha Kayden of Brownsburg, Ind.; paternal great-grandparents, Otto and Clara Trebelhorn of Eau Claire, Wis.; maternal great-grandparents, Patricia and Daniel Litwhiler of Tampa, Fla.; aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives including Carol James.
Funeral service 7 p.m. Thursday, St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 5 p.m. until the time of service.
Riley's parents would like to thank all of their family and friends and the nurses and doctors in NICU and PICU at Minneapolis Children's Hospital for their kindness and thoughtfulness during these last few days. it will always be gratefully remembered and deeply appreciated.

Marlene Steinke, 67, of Fairfax, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at the Fairfax Community Home.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 19, 2004, at St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfax. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until the time of services at the church on Friday. Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax is handling the arrangements.
Marlene Mildred Steinke was born Aug. 7, 1937, in Transit Twp., Minn. She was the daughter of Martin and Anna (Reichenbach) Boettcher.
Marlene was united in marriage with Charles W. Steinke on March 3, 1962, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Arlington, Minn. Marlene and Charles farmed in rural Fairfax. Marlene and Charles shared 34 years of marriage before Charles passed away on June 25, 1996. When Marlene needed assistance with her daily care, she became a resident at the Fairfax Community Home on Aug. 2, 2004. Marlene was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Fairfax, where she was active with the Ladies Aid and she volunteered with the prison ministry. She loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends and gardening.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles and brother, Harvey Boettcher,
Marlene is survived by her: son, David (Julia) Steinke of Fairfax; daughter, LuAnn (Rod) Hoffbeck of Morgan; grandchildren, Krista Hoffbeck, Nastya Steinke and Nicholas Steinke; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Boettcher of Gaylord and sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Gloria and Jerry Kemkes of Fairfax; nieces and nephews, Michelle, Mike, Jennifer and Anthony and great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

Marie (Grams) Vanderwerf of Redding, Calif., died on Oct. 17, 2004, at her home.
Funeral services were held at St. James Lutheran Church in Redding on Oct. 22.
Marie was born in New Ulm to Julius and Emma Grams on July 5, 1927. She attended St. Paul's Lutheran Grade School and graduated from New Ulm High School. She married Gene Vanderwerf of Sleepy Eye while he was in the service. After his retirement from the Naval Air Service they moved to Fremont and Redding, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; a brother and brother in infancy. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Elynne and Vernon "Skip" Vargas; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Sue Vanderwerf; five grandchildren; brothers Herbert Grams, Appleton, Wis.; Walter Grams, New Ulm; Richard Grams, LaCrosse, Wis.; Florence Scharlemann and Irma Huhn, New Ulm; Erna Zorn, Albuquerque, New Mexico; Arlene Buss, Huron, S.D.; Betty LeVitre, Minneapolis; and a sister-in-law, Delaurice Grams, Scappoose, Ore.
Burial was at Redding Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shasta College, Vanderwerf Scholarship, Redding, or St. Paul's Lutheran School, New Ulm.

Jerome Alsleben 62, of Brownton, died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2004, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia.
Funeral service will be Saturday Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brownton, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 5­8 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church chapel in Brownton and continues one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Arrangements with Hughes Funeral Home.
He is survived by his father Arthur Alsleben, and sisters, Eldonna Rettman of Hutchinson, and Elaine Haus of Glencoe.
He was born Sept. 21, 1942, in Penn Township, near Brownton to Arthur and Eileen (Diehn) Alsleben.

Leander W. Frank, 92, of Franklin and formerly of Fairfax, died on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2004, at the Franklin Health Care Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Monday, Nov. 22, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 1 ­ 3 p.m., Sunday at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax. There will be a parish prayer service at 2:30 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
Visitation will continue one hour prior to the time of services at the church on Monday.
