Ruth A. Kronback, 97, of Lamberton, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004, at Valley View Manor in Lamberton.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 4 at 11 a.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Lamberton with burial at Lamberton Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church.
Ruth Alice Kronback was born June 3, 1907 in Westbrook Township, Cottonwood County, the daughter of Ole and Inga (Engebretson) Swenson.
Arrangements are handled by Sturm Funeral Home in Lamberton.

Dorene Olson, 54, of rural Hanska, died Thursday, September 2, 2004, at her home following a courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 4, at Lake Hanska Lutheran Church with Rev. Robert Vedell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Schmucker Funeral Service in Hanska, and one hour prior to service at the church.
Dorene Grams, the daughter of Orville and Myrtle (Tetzlaff) Grams, was born June 7, 1950, in New Ulm. She lived with her family near Hanska, graduating from Hanska High School in 1968. Dorene married Charles Olson on September 27, 1969 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Together, they farmed and raised their family in Lake Hanska Township, Brown County. Dorene worked at Alliance Bank in Hanska for many years. She was a member of Lake Hanska Lutheran Church, having served on the church council, as WELCA treasurer, and on various other committees. She was a member of the Luther Memorial Home Board of Madelia, the American Legion Auxiliary and Relay for Life and was an avid gardener.
Survivors include her husband, Charles of Hanska; son, David Olson of Hanska; daughters, Julie Becker and her husband Barry of Northfield, Jennifer Kral and her companion John Gag of New Ulm; two grandchildren, Andrew and Amelia Becker; father, Orville Grams of Hanska; brothers, Daryl Grams and his wife Carla and Don Grams and his wife Kay, of Hanska; mother-in-law, Marion Brudelie of Hanska; brothers-in-law, Eugene Olson and his wife Ceil of Bloomington, Lynn Olson and his wife Helen of New Ulm; sisters-in-law, Judi Olson-Cooksey and her husband Jerry of Solsberry, IN, Linda Wempen and her husband Royce of St. Peter; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Dorene was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Grams; and fathers-in-law, Orville Olson and Oyler Brudelie.

Christapher Michael 'Pedro' Prokosch, 32, of rural Clements, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Morgan, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at the Redwood Valley Funeral Home in Redwood Falls with a Catholic Aid and parish scripture service at 7 p.m; and continues one hour before the service on Saturday at the church.
He is survived by his wife Tracy; children Mason, Nicholas, Owen and Zachary; parents Roger and Kathy of Morgan; sister, SSGT Andrea Prokosch of Tacoma, Wash.; paternal grandfather Norbert Prokosch of Morgan, maternal grandfather Bob Hofmeister of Bloomington.

Roger C. Jensen, 82, of Morgan, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2004 at Gil Mor Manor in Morgan.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004 at St. John Lutheran Church, Morgan with burial with military honors in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Evelyn of Morgan; daughters Mavis Jackson of Seymour, Mo. and Sharon Beasley of Portner, Texas; sisters Lorraine Potter and Mae Meyer, both of Springfield; Arlene Aarons of Sleepy Eye; and Gloria Meyer of Hesperia, Calif.; and two granddaughters.
He was born Feb. 28, 1922 in Morgan Township, Redwood County, to Arthur and Marietta (Jensen) Jensen.

Roger P. Theis, 72, of 1115 North Minnesota in New Ulm, died Friday, September 3, 2004 at the Divine Providence Community Home in Sleepy Eye.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Monday and will continue from 7:30-11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Roger is survived by his wife, Kay Theis of New Ulm; daughters and son-in-law, Linda Theis of New Ulm, Peggy Theis and Jim Haas of Lafayette, and Kathy and David Heyer of New Ulm; sons and daughters-in-law, Randy Bergerson of New Ulm, Brian and Cathy Bergerson of Madison, and Bret and Becky Bergerson of Madison; grandchildren, Isaiah, Carrie, Andrea, Amissa, Quintin, Natasha, Camie, Austin, Tia, Brandon, Devon, Calista, Vanessa, Micky, Amber, Jasmine, Garrison, Jamaica, Theresa and Tayler; and great grandchildren, Carter, Caden, Evan, Jerica, Chloe, and Sean; sisters, Luella Pauly of Jordan, and Marline Liffick of Tacoma, Washington; and by a sister-in-law, Mary Theis of Mankato.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant daughter; wife, Jeanie Braun on January 17, 1980; brothers, Eldred and Elmer Theis; two brothers-in-law, Wayne Liffick and Quinten Pauley; and by a daughter, Brenda Kay Bergerson.
Roger was born on November 19, 1931 in Killkenny, Minn. to Albert and Sally (Klehr) Theis. On September 30, 1950, he married Darlyn Jean Braun at Henderson, Minn. Jean passed away in 1980. Kay, Bergerson's husband, Ronald also passed away on April 9, 1980. Roger and Kay were married in New Ulm where they made their home. Roger and Kay had a lake home near Dassel on Lake Washington. Roger worked for many years at the New Ulm Quartzite Quarries until illness forced him to retire.
Roger loved to go fishing and hunting. Family and friends enjoyed his lake home, and all of his favorite stories and songs.

Helen Krinke, 79, of Lamberton, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004 at Valley View Manor in Lamberton.
Service of Remembrance will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8 at the Lamberton United Methodist Church, with burial at the Lamberton Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30-9 a.m. Wednesday at Sturm Funeral Home, Lamberton, and will continue for one hour prior to services at the church.
Survivors include her husband, Bob, of Lamberton; children, Thomas Krinke of Ham Lake, Steven Krinke of Lamberton, and Debbie Nelson of Muscatine, Iowa; and six grandchildren.
Helen Margaret Krinke was born May 16, 1925 in Mankato to Robert W. and Mary Elizabeth (Sterritt) Olson.

Russell Steffen, 83, of Lucan died on Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004 at his home.
Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lucan. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday. Burial is in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. The Redwood Valley Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
He is survived by his wife Bernice; sons, Merlyn of Lucan, Dallas of Lucan, and Wayne of LeCenter; nine grandchildren, and two great granddaughters.

Arlene Eldoris Enger, 79, of St. James, died on Monday, Sept. 6, 2004 at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in St. James.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at East Sveadahl Lutheran Church, rural St. James, with burial at East Sveadahl Lutheran Church Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Sturm Funeral Home, St. James, and one hour prior to services at the church.
She was born Oct. 19, 1924 in St. James, to Wilbert and Mildred (Noren) Durheim.
She is survived by - her husband, Vernon, of St. James; daughter, Joni Wright of Cottage Grove, sons, Richard of St. James, and Wayne of Perham; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Leona Shellum; and brothers, Noren Durheim, and Daryl Durheim.

Walter A. Suess, 74, of New Ulm died Saturday, September 4, 2004 at his daughters home in New Ulm. Funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2004 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm with Father Samuel Perez officiating. Visitation is 5-7 p.m. Tuesday and will continue from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. There will be a parish prayer service at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Walter is survived by a daughter and a son-in-law, Mary and Randy Chartier of New Ulm; a son, Patrick Suess and his fiancé, Pam Fergusen both of New Ulm; a granddaughter, Caitlin Chartier of New Ulm; sisters and brothers-in-law, Veronica and Clarence Kraus of New Ulm, Mary and Palmer Mickelson of Madelia, and Joseph Tauer of New Ulm; sister-in-law, Jolaine Suess of New Ulm; Genevieve Eisele of Nicollet; a special friend, June Westcott of New Ulm; niece, Connie Hopp and special friend, Larry Vanderlow both of New Ulm; and many other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Doris Suess on November 4, 2001; a son, David Suess on July 5, 1981; brothers, Clarence and Ludwig Suess.
Walter was born on June 5, 1930 in New Ulm to Joseph and Theresa (Traegner) Suess. He attended the Holy Trinity Catholic School in New Ulm until enlisting in the United States Army in 1950. On April 21, 1953, he married Doris Frances Tauer at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. He was a foreman for American Artstone Company and built silos all over the Midwest for many years. He enjoyed working in his shop welding and building things. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity.

LeRoy Domeier, 68, of 625 North Jefferson Street in New Ulm, died Tuesday, September 7, 2004, at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m., Friday, September 10, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with Father Samuel Perez celebrating. Burial will be in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m., Thursday and 7:30 - 10:30 a.m., Friday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. The St. Joseph's Catholic Aid Council will pray the rosary at 6 p.m., and there will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. both Thursday at the funeral home.
LeRoy is survived by his wife, Jeanette Domeier of New Ulm; daughters and sons-in-law, Shari and Tom Grathwohl of New Ulm, Pam and Dave Litzau of Gibbon; sons and daughters-in-law, Russ and Kathy Domeier, Tim and Wendy Domeier, Bradley Domeier, Shaun and Dawn Domeier, all of New Ulm; ten grandchildren; one great-grandson; a brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Marlys Domeier of San Jose, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents; aunts and uncles.
LeRoy Domeier was born February 17, 1936, in New Ulm to Clarence and Eleanor (Keim) Domeier. He attended New Ulm Catholic Schools and was a 1954 graduate of Holy Trinity High School. He was united in marriage with Jeanette Bushard on November 3, 1954, at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm. After marriage they lived in New Ulm where LeRoy was employed at Kraft Foods for more than 42 years until he retired in 1998. LeRoy was a member of the New Ulm Fire Department for 20 years.
He was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm, American Legion Post No. 132; Turner Hall and the St. Joseph's Catholic Aid Council.
In lieu of flowers, the Domeier family prefers memorials to the donor's choice.

Alice D. Phillips, 83, of Redwood Falls, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, at Wood Dale Nursing Home in Redwood Falls.
Services are 3 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 11, at First Presbyterian Church in Redwood Falls, with burial at a later date in Redwood Falls Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m., Friday, at Nelson-Martin Funeral Service in Redwood Falls; and one hour before the services at the church. There will be no reviewal.
Memorials are preferred by the First Presbyterian Church Building Fund.
She is survived by children, Emily Phillips of Seattle, George Phillips of Topeka, Kansas, Tom Phillips of New Hope, Nancy Phillips of Philomath, Ore., Mary Phillips of Redwood Falls; one grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
She was born Dec. 29, 1920, in Redwood Falls, to Emil and Sadie (Peavey) Worsech.

Jacqueline A. Schnichels, 79, of Fairfax, died Sunday, September 5, 2004, at her home.
Memorial services are 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Hector.
She is survived by her husband Lester Schnichels of Fairfax,; daughters, Lyssa Tejeda of St. Paul, and Kathryn Shott of Sacramento, Calif.; son, David Schnichels of Grand Forks, N.D.; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Darin of New York state; and a brother, Marshall.
Jacqueline Ann (Roberts) Schnichels was born Feb. 28, 1925, in the Syracuse area in New York to Rhys and Gertrude Roberts.

Adeline Theissen, 86, of Saint Paul, formerly of St. James, died Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, at Health East Care Center in Saint Paul.
Mass of Christian burial is 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 9, at St. James Catholic Church, in St. James, with burial in Calvary Cemetery in St. James.
Visitation is 8-10 a.m., Thursday, at Sturm Funeral Home in St. James.
She is survived by daughter Mitzi Theissen of St. Paul; sons, Steve Theissen of Eagle River, AK, and Mike Theissen Denver, CO;and two grandchildren.
Adeline Crumlett was born Jan. 24, 1918, in St. Paul, Minn. to Anna Felber.

Verner A. Briest, 93, of Gaylord, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at the Franklin Health Care Center in Franklin.
Funeral Services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Sibley Township, rural Gaylord, with burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and 7:30 to 8 a.m. Saturday at the Egesdal Funeral Home in Gaylord, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church.
He is survived by his: wife, Ella Briest of Gaylord; a daughter, Donna Mercer of Round Top, Texas; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
