Christopher J. 'Chris' Heinle, 35, of Ft. Myers died at home, August 16, 2004.
He was born in Merrill, WI, a son of James and Carol (Emery) Heinle, on July 22, 1969.
Chris graduated from New Ulm Sr. High School, New Ulm, MN in 1987 and served in the Army National Guard. He was employed as Director of Communications with Simmons Communications of Ft. Myers, FL.
Chris is survived by his daughter Savanna Rose, his parents, 2 brothers, Tom, Edgerton WI, John(Diane), Grafton WI Grandmother, Jeanne Boettcher, Green Bay WI, Grandmother, Dorothy Heinle, Fond du Lac WI, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by both grandfathers, Carll Emery and Theodore "Bud" Heinle and his aunt Margaret Olk. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a date to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a trust fund for his daughter Savanna, at Pelican National Bank.

Clarence George Stadick, 83, of Nampa, passed away August 19, 2004.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Aug. 24, at 10 a.m. at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel. A committal service will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Clarence's name may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church (534 W. Iowa; Nampa, Idaho 83686). Arrangements are under the direction of Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel (404 ­ 10th Ave. S., Nampa, Idaho office: 208-466-3545).
A visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 23, at Alsip and Persons Funeral Chapel from 4 to 8 pm.
Clarence was born November 28, 1920 in Lafayette Township, Nicollet County, Minn. to Joseph and Theresia (Sperl) Stadick. He married Meta A. Fluegge July 20, 1941 at Zion Lutheran Parsonages in Northwood, Iowa. They lived on a farm in Lafayette, Minn. where their two sons, Carlyle and Charles were born. In December 1944, Clarence was drafted into the Army. He served in Co "B" 96th Infantry as a rifleman in the Asiatic ­ Pacific and Army of Occupation in Japan. He was honorably discharged on October 22, 1946. He also served in the U.S.A.R. Ready Reserve (active status) Btry "C" 383rd Field Artillary 103rd Infantry division for 14 * years. He was honorably discharged as MSgt (E-7) in April of 1963. After Clarence came home from his service, they lived in New Ulm, Minn., where their daughter, Karen, was born. Clarence worked as a paint and body shop man at New Ulm Ford garage and was employed at New Ulm High School for a number of years. In July of 1962 they moved to Orange, California. He retired from the Orange Unified School District in 1982. They then moved to Nampa, Idaho in 1990 and are members of Messiah Lutheran Church. Clarence enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time at their cabin near New Meadows, Idaho.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Meta, 86 years old, of Nampa, Idaho; his two sons, Carlyle and his wife, Catherine, of Hemet, California; Charles and his wife Connie, of Caldwell, Idaho; one daughter, Karen Waits of Riverside, California; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Zitzman of Michigan; two brothers, Carl Stadick of New Ulm, Minn.; Norbert Stadick of Aloha, Ore. and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Theresia Stadick; one brother, Joe Stadick; two sister-in-laws, Alma Stadick, and Joyce Stadick; and two grandsons.

Phyllis Ann Wintheiser, 66, of Sleepy Eye, formerly of New Ulm, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Sleepy Eye Care Center.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Ulm, with burial in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Morgan.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23, at Schmucker Funeral Service, New Ulm, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
She is survived by a son, Shaun Wintheiser of Jackson; and brothers, Leo Wintheiser of Marshall, Denis Wintheiser of Fairmont and Bill Wintheiser of Sleepy Eye.
She was born March 27, 1938, in Morgan Township, Redwood County, to Wenzel and Clara (Steffensmeier) Wintheiser.

Marcella R. Sundquist, 87, of Redwood Falls, formerly of Delhi, died Saturday, Aug. 21, 2004 at the Seasons-Hospice Care Center in Redwood Falls. Services are pending with Nelson-Martin Funeral Service of Redwood Falls.

Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Monday, at Nelson-Martin Funeral Service in Redwood Falls; and continues one hour before the service Tuesday at the church.
She is survived by a sister, Pearl Huhnerkoch of Redwood Falls.
She was born July 25, 1916, at Varina, Iowa, to John and Emily (Palmer) Siegfried.

George Jasken, 91, of Waseca, formerly of Arlington, died Sunday, Aug. 23., 2004, at Waseca Memorial Medical Center.
Mass of Christian burial is 11 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 25, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Arlington with burial in the church Cemetery with military honors.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m., today, at Kolden Funeral Home in Arlington; and continues 8-10:30 a.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
He is survived by wife, Eva; children, Nita Johnston of Grand Junction, Colo., Dennis Jasken of Highland Ranch, Colo., Louise Schwankl of Oakdale, Bobbie Wallace of Tucson, Ariz., Jon Jasken of Shoreview, Jill Hofmeister of Waseca; 15 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was born Oct. 26, 1912, in Arlington, to John B and Katherine (Bertrang) Jasken.

Ruth A. Menz, 93, of Redwood Falls, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, in Ham Lake, Minn.
Services are 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 27, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Redwood Falls, with burial in th Morton City Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m., Thursday, at Nelson-Martin Funeral Service in Redwood Falls and one hour before services Friday at the church.
She is survived by daughter Mavis Kuensting of Minneapolis; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and brother Harold Lothert of Morton.
She was born Feb. 23, 1911, in Morton, to Edward and Lydia (Bartz) Lothert.

Hilarius Tauer, 89, of Sleepy Eye, died on Sunday, Aug. 22, 2004, at Sleepy Eye Care Center.
Services are 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 25, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is 4-8 p.m., today and 7:30-10 a.m., Wednesday, at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye. A combined Catholic Aid Association and KC's rosary will be at 5 p.m. today at the funeral home. There will be a parish prayer service at 8 p.m., today at the funeral home.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Tauer of Sleepy Eye; children, Donald Tauer of Harrison, Arkansas, Patricia Alt of Sleepy Eye, Marlene Chambers of Stillwater, Charles Tauer of Glencoe, OK, Dennis Tauer of Jordan, David Tauer of Sleepy Eye, Jerome Tauer of Harrison, Arkansas; 26 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Fredrick Tauer of Sleepy Eye, Alcuin Tauer of Sleepy Eye, Cletus Tauer of Luck, Wis.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was born on Dec.,15, 1914, in Mulligan Township, Brown County, Minn., to George G. and Anna (Helget) Tauer.
Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.

Jody Portner, 50, of 1615 South Franklin Street in New Ulm, died Sunday, August 22, 2004, at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 7:30 -10 a.m., Thursday, at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to donor's choice.
Jody is survived by her husband, Jerome "Butch" Portner of New Ulm; mother, Lydia Skorczewski of New Ulm; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Eric Nelson of Gaylord; son, Jamey Portner of New Ulm; brothers and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Gloria Skorczewski of Marshall, Terry and Bonnie Skorczewski of Northfield, and Gary Skorczewski of Appleton; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Willard and Phyllis Portner of Klossner; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Don Perko of Highland Ranch, Colorado, Deb and Brad Remus of Wasilla, Alaska; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Leon and Sheri Portner of Lafayette; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Skorczewski, and a sister, Linda Skorczewski.
Jodele Jean Skorczewski was born on August 13, 1954 in Canby to Alvin and Lydia (Dastych) Skorczewski. She graduated from New Ulm Public High School in 1972. On July 20, 1974 she married Jerome Portner at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm. After marriage they lived in New Ulm. She had worked for State Bank in New Ulm, Lakes Gas in Essig, Kraft, and was currently employed at 3M in New Ulm. Jody enjoyed arts and crafts, gardening, and her family and friends. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm.

Gerald R. 'Jerry' Meath, 77, of Fairmont, formerly of Sleepy Eye, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at the Fairmont Medical Center-Mayo Health System.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Fairmont with burial in Calvary Cemetery in Fairmont.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont and one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday. There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral. home.
Survivors include children, Michael Meath of White Bear Lake, Jayne Meath of Leavenworth, Kan., Cathi Schmidt of Rose Creek, Carole Olson of Volga, S.D. and Thomas Meath of Rochester; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Charles E. Meath of Rochester and Bobby Meath of Lake Oswego, Ore.; and two sisters, Mona Randall of St. Paul and Donna Ramirez of Akron, Ohio;
Gerald Robert "Jerry" Meath was born July 1, 1927, in Erin Prairie, Wis. to Charles A and Hildegaard (Brinkman) Meath.

James E. Miner, 71, of rural Winthrop, died Tuesday at his home.
A private family service will be held at his farm. Burial will be in Gaylord Municipal Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Darlene of rural Winthrop; daughters Jodette Hickey of Owatonna and Wendy McIntyre of Minneapolis; a son, Brent of Litchfield; step-children Brenda Meyer and Kari Rose, both of Gaylord; 5 grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren.
Arrangements are with Egesdal Funeral Home, Gaylord.

Clifford E. Nelson, 72,of Sleepy Eye, died on Monday, Aug. 23, 2004, at Sleepy Eye Care Center.
Service is 10:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 27, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Clergy will be Pastor Timothy Grams
Burial will be in the Soldiers Rest Section of New Ulm Cemetery.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m., Thursday, at Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye, and continues 9:30-10:30 a.m., Friday at the church.
Cliff was born on Dec. 24, 1931, in Pleasant Mound Township, Blue Earth County, Minn., the son of Charles B. and Florence (Russ) Nelson. He grew up near St. James and attended District 52 country school, later attending St. James High School where he graduated in 1951. Cliff worked with his family on the farm for a short time before entering the U.S. Marines in 1952. After his discharge in 1954, Cliff returned to St. James and later went to work for Kraft in New Ulm. He married Joann Schwantes on March 8, 1958, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Good Thunder. The couple made their home in New Ulm, Winona and moved to Sleepy Eye in 1973. Cliff worked in the printing business in New Ulm, Winona, Sleepy Eye and the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. His last years were spent working with Preferred Printing in Madelia. Cliff was a member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye. He enjoyed bow hunting, fishing, reading and watching sports on TV.
Survivors include his wife Joann Nelson of Sleepy Eye; children, Shelly Nelson of Minneapolis, Kevin and wife Doreen Nelson of Perham, MN, Allan Nelson of New Ulm, Holly and husband Randy Weikle of Fairfax, Daren Nelson of New Ulm and Karen Nelson of New Ulm; six grandchildren, Jessica and Ryan Weikle, Kara and Sean Nelson and Cydney and Landon Nelson; sisters, Alma Mathiowetz of New Ulm and Bonnie Lunz of Madelia; and brother Leslie Nelson of St. James. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Cliff was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Carl.

Donna L. Schauer, 58, of Mankato, formerly of the Winthrop area, died Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2004, at the Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato.
Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 27, at the Dalin-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Winthrop. Burial will be in the Winthrop Cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the time of services.
She is survived by her brother, Warren Schauer of Waterville, and sisters, Wanda Heath of Montevideo, Lois Schauer of Arlington, and LaVonne Schleeter of Glencoe.
Donna Lee Schauer was born March 28, 1946, in Bismarck Township, Sibley County, to Emil and Lillian (Lund) Schauer.
