Clifford J. 'Tish' Drenttel, 86, of St. Peter, died Friday, July 23, 2004, at the St. Peter Community Health Care Center in St. Peter.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday July 27, at the Church of St. Peter in St. Peter.
Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in St. Peter.
St. Peter Funeral Home-Klein Chapel handled arrangements.
Clifford was born April 20, 1918 in St. Peter to Edward and Pat (Tatzlaf) Drenttel.
He graduated from St. Peter High School.
Clifford married Myra E. Fischer on September 3, 1942 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in New Ulm; it was the first military wedding in that church.
Clifford joined the Army in 1935 and spent a total of 33 years in the military retiring in 1968 as a captain in the National Guard.
He owned and operated the St. Peter Tile Company from 1953-1972.
Clifford then worked as a custodian at the National Guard Armory from 1972 until his retirement in the fall of 1980.
He was a life member of the VFW, Knights of Columbus, National Guard Association, and Cooties, he also belonged to the Last Man's Club, the American Legion, and the Red Man's Club.
Clifford server in the St. Peter Honor Guard for 50 years and was a member of the St. Mary's Church Parish Council.
In 1965 he was awarded the Award of Merit from the State of Minnesota for exceptional service in the National Guard.
Tish is survived by his wife Myra; son Cliff Jr. and wife Margaret of Apple Valley; daughter Bonnie Anderson and husband Don of Puyallup, WA.; son Ed and wife Sandy of Eagan; brother Robert and wife Rosie of Mankato; sister Mary Krakelberg of Addison, IL.; grandchildren, Paul, Katie, Jason, Kristi, Taylor, Jordan and Mallory; and great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Zachary.
Clifford was preceded in death by his sister Janet Leverson.
If so desired, memorials may be given to the Church of St. Peter, the St. Peter Community Health Care Center or the American Cancer Society.

Carren Reinhart-Sundstrom, 51, of St. Paul and formerly of New Ulm died Friday, July 23, 2004, at her home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 29, at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with Father John A. Richter celebrating.
Burial will be in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 7:30-10 a.m. Thursday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
There will be a parish prayer service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Carren is survived by her husband, Larry Schultz of St. Paul; a daughter and son-in-law, Char and Corey Heck of New Ulm; sons, Brandon Reinhart and Dana Reinhart both of New Ulm, and Jeremy Vranek; two grandchildren, Caleigh and Codey Heck; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald and Kristin Morrill of Le Sueur, and Wayne "Andy" and Judi Morrill of Warrensburg, Missouri; and by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Carren Anne Morrill was born on April 20, 1953, at Bethesda, Maryland to Wayne and Cecelia (Stoffel) Morrill.
She attended school at Loyola in Mankato and then graduated from Good Council in Mankato in 1971.
On October 20, 1973, she married Brad Reinhart at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity.
She worked at the New Ulm Medical Center as a nurses aide and also had worked at 3M until later moving to St. Paul where she married Larry Schultz on Dec. 26, 1996.
She loved music, sewing, quilting, and visits with friends and family.
Grandchildren, nieces, and nephews meant the world to Carren.

Harold Eichelberger, 91, of Hutchinson, formerly of Lake Preston, died Monday, July 26, 2004, at the Burns Manor Nursing Home in Hutchinson.
Funeral Service is 11 a.am., Thursday, July 29, at the Faith Lutheran Church in Hutchinson.
Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, at the Hughes Funeral Home in Stewart, and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
He is survived by his wife Camilla Eichelberger of Hutchinson; children, Carolyn Wacker Hutchinson, Phyllis Fudali of New Brighton, and Charles Eichelberger of New Brighton; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Harold Charles Eichelberger was born April 21, 1913, in Naperville, Ill., to Isaac and Teckla (Erickson) Eichelberger.

Brenda Schwab, 49, of St. George, died Tuesday, July 27, 2004, at the New Ulm Medical Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 30, at the St. George Catholic Church in St. George.
Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m., Thursday and will continue for one hour prior to the time of mass on Friday at the St. George Catholic Church.
There will be a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday at the church.
The Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm is handling the arrangements.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Ronald Schwab of St. George; parents, Olgar and Florence Baarson of Odin; daughters, Rachael and Amanda Schwab, both of St. George; a son, Andrew "Bud" Schwab of St. George; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nancy and Rob Curry of St. James, Betty and Kevin Williams of Fairmont, Linda and Don Feeney of Puyllop, Washington; mother-in-law, Rose Schwab of New Ulm; sisters-in-law, Carol Helget and her husband, Mandy of New Ulm, Lena Soukup and her husband Tim of Olivia, Jean Prochniak and her husband Doug of New Ulm; brothers-in-law, Robert Schwab of New Ulm, Alan Schwab and his wife Sue of New Ulm.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lily and Frank Sandberg and Oscar and Jane Baarson; father-in-law, Ray Schwab; and by nephews, Craig Helget and Tim Welsch.
Brenda Lee Baarson was born October 17, 1954, in Mountain Lake to Olgar and Florence (Sandberg) Baarson.
She married Ronald J. Schwab on Nov. 24, 1979, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Odin.
After marriage they farmed in West Newton Township, Nicollet County.
She was a long-time employee of 3M in New Ulm and helped her husband on their farm.
She was a member of the St. George Catholic Church and the Council of Catholic Women.

Celine M. McGowan, age 70, of Tucson, Arizona, formerly of Hutchinson, Minnesota, died peacefully in her home in Tucson, Arizona on Sunday, July 25, 2004, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease.
A Mass in Celebration of her life will be held on Wed., Aug. 4 at 11 a.m. at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson, with interment in St. Wilibrord Catholic Cemetery in Severance Township, Sibley County, Minnesota.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Tue., Aug. 3, at St. Anastasia Catholic Church in Hutchinson, with an 8 p.m. prayer service at the church.
Dobratz-Hantge Funeral Chapel, Hutchinson, is handling arrangements.
Celine Mary McGowan (Isakson) born on May 2, 1934.
She lived a joyous life with her family in Gibbon, Minneapolis, Lester Prairie, and Hutchinson, MN, and Tucson, AZ.
Celine was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother and was active in both church and community.
Celine touched the lives of many and was loved by all who knew her.
Celine is survived by her children, Maureen Pranghofer and her husband, Paul of Golden Valley, MN, Kathy Thompson of Brandon, SD, Michael McGowan and his wife, Suellen of Tucson, AZ, Kelly Ottaway and her husband, Tom of Tucson, AZ, Chris Hubly and her husband, Mark of Tucson, AZ, John McGowan and his wife, Karen of St. Michael, MN; fifteen grandchildren; a sister, Carla Lagerstedt and her husband, Gary of Spicer, MN; a brother, Gene Isakson and his wife, Jan of St. Peter, MN; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Celine is preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Margaret Isakson.
All memorials will be donated to Parkinson's research.

John A. Singer, 95, of Coral Springs, Florida and formerly of New Ulm died Monday, July 26, 2004 at the Memorial Pembroke Hospital in Penbroke Pines, Florida. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2004 at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm with Father John A. Richter celebrating.
Burial will be in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm. Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Sunday and from 7:30 - 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm. There will be a parish prayer service at 5:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
John is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jerome and Marlene Singer of Pembroke Pines, Florida; many grandchildren, great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Clara Singer on January 23, 2001; and a daughter, Audrey Petersen.
John Alex Singer was born on August 4, 1908 in Germany to Joseph and Anna (Wiesner) Singer.
He married Clara Fink on June 20, 1932 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye.
After marriage they lived in New Ulm and he had worked as a railroad engineer.
In 1989 they moved to Spring Valley and then moved into the Lake Villa Maria Apartments in Sleepy Eye in 1996.
In July of 2000 they moved to Coral Springs, Florida.
He was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm.

Harriet Eleanor Hadley Bell. A memorial service for Harriet Eleanor Hadley Bell was held at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Fairfax, Minnesota on July 29, 2004 at 10:30 a.m., with burial at the Hadley family plot at Fort Ridgely State Park.
Memorials may be made to Our Savior's Lutheran Church Library Fund, 406 SE 1st Street, Fairfax, MN 55332.

Delores A. Rogotzke, age 74, of Fairfax, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2004, at her home in Fairfax.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 31, 2004, at 11 A.M., at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Wellington Twp., Renville Co.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 4-8 PM at the Hauser-Hantge Funeral Chapel in Fairfax.
Visitation will continue one hour to the time of service at the church on Saturday.
Delores Amanda (Batzlaff) Rogotzke was born September 1, 1929, in Charleston Twp., rural Lamberton, MN.
She was the daughter of Conrad and Ada (Ohlemann) Batzlaff.
Delores was baptized on September 29, 1929, and was confirmed in her faith, as a youth.
She graduated from Lamberton High School in 1947 and the Fairview School of Nursing in Minneapolis in 1950.
Delores worked as a registered nurse until 1957, when she was united in marriage with Robert H. Rogotzke on June 1, 1957, at Zion Lutheran Church in Sanborn, Minnesota.
Delores and Robert farmed in rural Lamberton until 1964, when they moved to Fairfax, where she continued as a homemaker and helped in the family fuel business.
She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and friends. She also enjoyed reading, sewing, and baking cookies for the Alaska fishing trip each year.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents.
Delores is survived by her husband, Robert Rogotzke of Fairfax, MN; three children, Roger (Barbara) Rogotzke of Sleepy Eye, MN, David (Anne) Rogotzke of Duluth, MN and Carole Rogotzke of Apple Valley, MN; six grandchildren, Tom, Karen, and Jay Rogotzke of Sleepy Eye, MN and Katie, Leah, and Matt Rogotzke of Duluth, MN; brother, Norman (Lois) Batzlaff of Lamberton, MN and sister, Arlene (George ) Mattil of Redwood Falls, MN.

Alice Domeier, 79, of 1010 South Franklin in New Ulm died Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at the Sleepy Eye Care Center in Sleepy Eye.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2004 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm with burial in the New Ulm Catholic Cemetery in New Ulm. Visitation will be 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday and from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. Monday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm.
The St. Mary's Catholic Aid Society will pray the rosary at 6:00 p.m. and there will be a parish prayer service at 7:00 p.m. both Sunday at the funeral home.
Alice is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Sue Domeier of Brooklyn Park, Jane and Dave Brown of New Ulm; sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Karen Domeier of rural New Ulm, Larry and Karen Domeier of New Ulm, William C. Domeier and Suzanne Marx of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Mark Domeier and his wife, Michelle, Kim Bauer and her husband, Rich, Angie James and her husband, Cory, Mandy Domeier, Nicholas Domeier, Emily Domeier, and William W. Domeier; great grandchildren, Jayna Domeier and Ethan Bauer; sister, Sally Zwach of New Ulm; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerome and Joni Schimschock of Sleepy Eye, and Eugene and Phyllis Schimschock of Chaska.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William F. Domeier on August 12, 1985; a daughter, Carol Domeier; a son, John Domeier; and brothers, Ray Schimschock, Jim Schimschock and Mel Schimschock.
Alice Margaret Schimschock was born on May 26, 1925 in Sleepy Eye to John and Mary (Weiss) Schimschock.
She married William F. Domeier on January 18, 1947 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye.
She enjoyed gardening, flowers, biking, birds, family, friends and neighbors.
She had volunteered her time in the gift shop at the New Ulm Medical Center in New Ulm and had helped deliver "Meals on Wheels."
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Aid Society.
In Lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be given to New Ulm Area Catholic Schools or St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm.
