Lillie A. Krone

Services for Lillie A. Krone, 93, of Rogers were Monday, May 21, 2001, at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover.

Rev. Paul R. Settergren officiated and interment followed at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.

"What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "My Faith Looks Up to Thee" were sung as congregational hymns.

Kevin Sweeter, Timothy Sweeter, Jeffrey Sweeter, Robert Sweeter, Eugene Bauman and Alvin Schmid served as casket bearers.

Mrs. Krone died Thursday, May 17, 2001, at North Ridge Care Center in New Hope.

She was born Aug. 9, 1907, in Burschville the daughter of William and Lena Loeffler Witte.

On Aug. 24, 1932, Lillie A. Witte and Gustave Krone were united in marriage in Minneapolis. God blessed their marriage with three children.

Mr. and Mrs. Krone engaged in dairy farming for many years. Gustave Krone preceded his wife in death in 1988.

She was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover.

Survivors include a daughter, Marlene (Robert) Sweeter of Rogers; 10 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Edna Bauman of Wells; many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Krone was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Duane Krone in 1989 and Gaylord "Sonny" Krone Sr. in 1994; and a brother, Walter Witte in 1997.

Harold Miller

Services for Harold C. Miller, 88 of Maple Grove were Wednesday, May 23, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 10025 Hwy. 101, Corcoran.

Burial was at Immanuel Cemetery.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his first wife, Inez.

Survivors include his wife, Lorna of Maple Grove, daughter, Lois (Earl) Caswell of Maple Grove, son, Gerald (Jeraldine) Miller of Osseo, six grandchildren, Carrin Caswell, Robert (Lisa) Caswell, Kristin Caswell, Steven (Kelly) Miller, Sherilyn Miller, and Suzanne (Barry) Evavold; brother, Wesley (Ruth), of Monroe, Ohio, sister, Harriet of Lebanon, Ohio, nieces, nephews and many faithful friends.

Mildred Morris

Services for Mildred F. Morris, 74, of St. Michael were Saturday, May 19, 2001, at 2 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home. Rev. Paul H. Knutson officiated at the funeral service.

Lorraine Wolf was the organist for the funeral service. Cary Hultgren sang "How Great Thou Art" and Christine Adkins sang "Borning Cry." "Amazing Grace-How Sweet the Sound" was sung as a congregational hymn.

Carl Crawford, Tom Erdmann, Arnie Olson, Jim Wellnitz, Marty Zahler and Vance Zoller served as the casket bearers.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery Monday, May 21, at 1:30 p.m.

Mrs. Morris died Thursday, May 17, at the Buffalo Hospital. She was born in Kentucky on Oct. 28, 1926, the daughter of Chester and Edna Knox Lock.

On March 18, 1951, Mildred Lock and Ira Morris were joined in holy marriage in Louisville, Ky. God blessed their marriage with three daughters.

Mrs. Morris devoted her life to her family and to helping others in their time of need.

She enjoyed bowling, tennis and playing cards.

Mrs. Morris was a former member of O.E.S. in Louisville.

Survivors include husband, Ira D. Morris; daughters, Donita Mae Ellingson of Montevideo, Cindy Mae (Gary) Hultgren of St. Michael and Lisa Mae Kelly; grandchildren, Birgit Mae and Laura Leigh, Jessica Mae and Jared Scott, and Natasha Mae, Ashley Rae, Brendan Paul and Daniel Jon; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, James H. (Joan) Lock of Key Colony Beach, Fla.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents Chester and Edna Lock and by a brother, Loren Lock.

Robert Scheldrup

Services for Robert W. Scheldrup, 44, of Maple Grove were Friday, May 25, 2001 at Nokomis Park Chapel, Minnehaha Pkwy.

He was preceded in death by parents, Robert and Evelyn.

Survivors include his wife Linda; son, Ryan; daughter, Tara; brothers, Richard Fineday and Don Thomas; sister, Ciana Hart; nieces and nephews.

Burial will be at Hillside.

Brian D. Smith

Funeral services for Brian D. Smith 22, of St. Michael were Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at 10:30 a.m. at Word of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers. The Rev. John Christianson officiated. Interment was at Watertown Public Cemetery in Watertown.

Casketbearers were Cody Martin, Ben Gustafson, Keith Gutswiller, Dwain Pearson, Shane Long and Jason Hackenmueller.

Mr. Smith died Friday, May 18, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale. He was born May 3, 1979, at St. Louis Park. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Smith and Bonnie Lou Schmidt. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by grandparents, Lavin Schmidt Henrietta and Roy Smith.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Bonnie Lou and Norman Olson of St. Michael; father, Harold Smith of Mound; brothers and sister-in-law, Jeff and Cecelia Smith of Miami Beach, Fla., and Kevin and Kathy Smith of Elk River; nieces and nephews, Jarilyn, Jenny, Joel, Andy, Brendan and Tristan; grandmother, Lorena Schmidt of Delano; great aunt, Lillie Lange of Delano; uncles and aunts, Robert and Connie Smith of Robbinsdale and Lawrence and Evelyn Worm of Chicago; step brothers and spouses, James and Mary Olson of Crystal, Joel Olson of Willmar, Jeffrey Olson of New London, Jerome and Becky Olson of New London and Jesse Olson of Willmar; and many other relatives and friends.

He was the youngest of three sons and was raised in St. Michael.

He was very ambitious and hard working. He had accomplished at such an early age his own business as a wood flooring sub-contractor. He also worked evenings following his passion for cooking. He was great with elderly people and enjoyed visits with his grandparents and many fishing trips with his grandfather.

Mr. Smith had many strong friendships and was loved and respected by all his friends.

He always enjoyed his time with his brothers and family. He loved the outdoors and had many hobbies. In his short life he experienced many adventures. Some of his most enjoyed moments were with his family hunting, snowmobiling, water skiing, scuba diving, riding motor cycles, bowling and using his culinary interest in cooking wonderful meals for his family.

Dorothy Mary Adickes

Services for Dorothy Mary Adickes, 80, of Isle and formerly of Montrose, were Thursday, May 17, 2001, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Delano.

Fr. Thomas Boedy was the celebrant and interment followed at Calvary Cemetery.

Mrs. Adickes died Sunday, May 13, 2001, at the Mille Lacs Hospital in Onamia. She was born in Milbank, S.D., Nov. 27, 1920, the daughter of Martin and Gertrude Van Lith.

She was joined in marriage to Clarence Adickes Nov. 8, 1939, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Delano. They had 11 children.

The couple engaged in farming for many years. Mrs. Adickes later worked at Tonka Toys, Lee Overalls and at Wonderalls. Through the years, she also owned Diamond Dottie's in Montrose. She later drove a Head Start Bus and worked at the Community Action Canning Factory. The couple retired to Isle in 1979. Mr. Adickes preceded his wife in death in 1992. She belonged to VFW Post 2816 in Isle.

She is survived by children, Marguerita (Darmond Olson) Snyder of Blackduck, Cornelius "Casey" (Pru) Adicks of Annandale, Mary Ellen (Bob) Morgan of Thompson, N.D., Raymond (Fran) Adickes of Isle, Marlene (Burt) Ramthun of Buffalo, Alan (Carol) Adickes of Watertown, Marcia (Jim) Epple of Montrose, Marla (Neal) Maynard of Champlin, Myra (Will) Decker of Palm Desert, Calif., Monna Rae (Donald "Butch") Dempster of Laurel, Mont., and Madonna (Rick Grangroth) Adickes of Waverly; 38 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Arthur Van Lith of Delano, Irene (Harvey) Wandersee of Luverne, Leonard (Micky) Van Lith of Loretto, Lambert (Liz) Van Lith of Delano and Gert (Ken) Hanson of Watkins; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Angie Van Lith of Delano, Janice Van Lith and Agnes Adickes, both of Buffalo, Helen Matter of Delano and Eleanor (Milo) Raumer of Rockford; many other relatives and friends, including special friend Bill Kamen.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, two great-grandsons and brothers, Martin, Casey and Fritz Van Lith and sister, Martha Wandersee.

Donna Mae Anderson

Services for Donna Mae Anderson, 47, of Dayton, were Friday, May 18, 2001, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota in Edina.

She died May 15, after a short illness with cancer.

She is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Alice.

She is survived by her daughter Tavia Hacker; sons Jeromie and Jason Hacker; sisters Mary (Richard) Yates, Sharon Nelson; brother John Hacker and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.

Duane Ardolf

Services for Duane R. Ardolf, 61, of Maple Grove were Thursday, May 17, 2001 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park.

Burial was in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Plum City, Wis.

Mr. Ardolf died Monday, May 14, in Robbinsdale. He was born Aug. 28, 1939.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Mr. Ardolf was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Erma Ardolf.

Survivors include his wife Janet; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Lynne of Stillwater and brother Gerald of Long Prairie.

Memorials may be given to the Duane R. Ardolf Memorial Fund.

Grace Goth

Services for Grace (Mary) Goth, 94, of Osseo were Monday, May 14, 2001, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Brooklyn Park.

Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Goth died Wednesday, May 9, in Crystal. She was born Dec. 5, 1906 in Minneapolis.

She was preceded in death by her husband George and brothers and sisters.

Survivors include children and spouses Howard and Rita of Maple Grove, Elaine and Jim Holland of Prescott, Ariz., and Douglas and Barbara of St. Michael; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Richard Jauman

Services for Richard D. Jauman, 59, of Blaine were Friday, May 18, at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

He died Thursday, May 10, in Fridley. He was born March 24, 1942 in Detroit, Mich.

Survivors include his sons, Scott Jauman of Maple Grove, Mark Jauman of Eden Prairie; daughters and son-in-law, Laura and John Christianson of Becker and Amy Jauman of Maple Grove; mother, Jane B. Jauman of Florida; sister, Martha Jane Friedrich of Florida; four grandchildren, Jenna, Carly, Sophia and Caleb.

Memorials preferred to the Richard D. Jauman Memorial Fund.

Evon Keegel

Services for Evon Keegel, 69, of Beebe Lake, were Friday, May 11, 2001, at 11 a.m. at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home.

Rev. Timothy Rudolphi officiated and interment followed at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Sarah Goelz provided special music for the funeral service. Adam Timothy Wolfe, Shane Thomas Davidson, Jacob Boyd, Todd Davidson, Thomas McCuaig and Jordan Shoulders served as the casket bearers.

Mrs. Keegel died Monday, May 7, at the Monticello-Big Lake Hospital. She was born near Mattoon, Ill., in Cole County to Lowell and Vivian Mae Jay Huddlestun.

She was a former certified nursing assistant.

She is survived by husband, Clarence E. Keegel; children, Lowell Dean Huddlestun, Thomas F. Davidson, Shane T. (Rose) Davidson, Evon C. (David) Niezabitowski, Bee M. Davidson and Todd C. Davidson; nine grandchildren; sisters, Wanda McCuaig and LaDonna Wolfe; brother, Bennie Joe Huddlestun; many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Keegel was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Alice V. Snicker

Services for Alice V. Snicker, 77, of Watertown, were Thursday, May 17, 2001, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown.

Fr. Frank Wampach officiated and interment was in the church cemetery.

Casket bearers were Brent Wandersee, Greg Bury, Larry Bury and Gary Bury.

Mrs. Snicker died Monday, May 14, 2001, at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia. She was born July 6, 1923, in New Germany, the daughter of Louis and Kathrein (Karels) Bury. She was baptized and confirmed at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown. She married Joseph A. Snicker at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Ed and Jan Sonicker of Delano and Joseph Snicker of Victoria; granddaughter, Katie Sonicker and special friend, Brent Wandersee; special friend, Laure Swanson of Watertown; sister, Delores Ortloff of California; brothers and sisters-in-law, Louis and Betty Bury of Watertown, Ambrose Bury of California and Leslie and Donna Bury of Nevada; brother-in-law, Clinton Snicker of Watertown; sister-in-law, Georgia Snicker of Delano; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph A. Snicker; parents, Louis and Kathrein Bury and brother, Dennis Bury.

Bertha W. Taber

Services for Bertha W. Taber, 99, of Champlin and formerly of the Crown area, were Friday, May 18, 2001, at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Anoka. Interment is at Nichols Cemetery in Spencer Brook.

She is preceded in death by her husband Harry A. Taber.

She is survived by her daughter Ruth Stoeckel of Champlin; sons Wesley (Goldie) Taber of Anoka, Harry (Susan) Taber of Coon Rapids; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister Florence (Walter) Bahr of St. Francis; nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law Evelyn and Lorraine Daudt, both of Crown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
