Services for Charlotte (Penny) Smith, 73, of Maple Grove are Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Gearty-Delmore Park Chapel, St. Louis Park.

Burial was in Trenton Cemetery, Hager City, Wis.

Survivors include her husband, Donald; sons, Donald J. of Florida, Charles W. of Bloomington and Thomas M. of Golden Valley; daughter, Teresa Jorgenson of Independence; sisters, Violet Stillson and Dorothy Mosely; sisters-in-law, Sr. Rose Cecile Smith, CSJ and Stella Clark; grandchildren, Stacy, Jason, Danny Christopher, Jeffrey, Elizabeth and Bridget and one great-grandchild.

Nancy Triplett

Services for Nancy L. Triplett, 68, of Maple Grove were Monday, Oct. 22, 2001, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Brooklyn Park.

Mrs. Triplett died Tuesday, Oct. 16, in Springfield, Mo. She was born Oct. 18, 1932.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, a bowling league and the Honey Belles.

Mrs. Triplett is survived by husband, Vernon; children, Brenda (Bob) Koshiol of Farmington, Steven F. (Rhonda) Zimmer of Barnum, Gregory Zimmer of Maple Grove, and Larry (Tracy) Zimmer of St. Michael; grandchildren, Carrie, Bill and John Koshiol, Daniel and Nicole Zimmer, and Matthew and Ashley Zimmer; two nephews and one niece.

She was preceded in death by parents, George and Faye McEachern.

If so desired memorials may be given to the Nancy Triplett Memorial Fund.

Marie van der Hagen

Services for Marie Katherine van der Hagen, 93, of St. Therese Residence in New Hope, formerly of Loretto, were Monday, Oct. 29, 2001, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto, with Rev. Brian Fier, officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Cheri Finseth, Mike van der Hagen, Nick Omann, Cindy Omann, Marty van der Hagen, Amy Finseth and Midge Barker.

Mrs. van der Hagen died Wednesday, Oct. 24, at her residence. She was born Sept. 2, 1908, in Holy Name, Minn., the daughter of Anthony and Gertrude (Widenbach) Adams. She was married to Henry A. van der Hagen at Holy Name Catholic Church, and they enjoyed 65 years together. She and Henry farmed in the Loretto area for many years.

Mrs. van der Hagen was a very active member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto; served as a 4-H leader for the Meadow Larks 4-H Club; sang with the North Hennepin Community Choir for 15 years; and she was very involved with the Delano Area Senior Citizens as well as the Loretto Area Senior Citizens. She enjoyed sewing, especially gowns and dresses.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry.

She is survived by her daughter, Marguerite and Holly McKenzie of Brooklyn Park, son, John and Mary van der Hagen of Leander, Texas; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-grea-grandchild; sister-in-law, Jeanette Adams and many nieces and nephews.

Russell Wasser

Services for Russell E. Wasser, 87, of Maple Grove were Monday, Oct. 29, 2001 at Gill Brothers Funeral Chapel in New Hope.

Burial was in Glen Flora Lutheran Cemetery, Glen Flora, Wis.

He died Wednesday, Oct. 24.

He was a retired city of Minneapolis police officer and World War II Veteran.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Ingrid; son, Leonard (Juanita) of Fresno, Calif.; daughters, Diane (Mark) Montgomery of Garland, Texas, Barbara (Daniel) Larson of Savage; grandchildren, Eric and Kristen Wasser, Heidi, Steven, Timothy, Joseph, Sarah and Andrew Larson and many loving relatives and friends.

Ann Bentz

Services for Ann Bentz, 78, of Maple Plain were Sunday, Jan. 20, 2002, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Watertown Township.

Rev. Jay B. Klein officiated and interment was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Bentz died Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at the Delano Healthcare Center. She was born May 22, 1923, in Blackduck, Minn., the daughter of George and Mary (Hybben) Zustiak. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Watertown Township. In March of 1951 she married Gilbert Bentz at the church. The couple had one son, Gerald.

Mrs. Bentz lived her entire married life on their farm on County Rd. 6 in Independence. She helped on the farm, loved to bake and was an active church member.

She was preceded in death by husband, Gilbert, who died in 1977; parents, George and Mary (Hybben) Zustiak; sister, Eleanor Rikala; brother, Victor Zustiak; brother-in-law, Jim Bentz; and sister-in-law, Lilly Jackel.

She is survived by son, Gerald; sisters, Mary Duran, Emily Hagen and Elsie Quimby; brother, George Zustiak; brother-in-law, Ray (Lorraine) Bentz and sisters-in-law, Louise Engleman and Mary Lou Spear and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Stephen A. Fautsch

Services for Stephen A. Fautsch, 54, of Delano were Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Delano.

Rev. Michael Miller officiated and interment was in the church cemetery. Military honors were provided by the Delano American Legion Post 377.

Pallbearers were Daryl Lenz, Jeff Farnham, Steve Stahlke, Bruce Larson, Dick Motzko and Duane Wandersee.

Mr. Fautsch died unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 21, 2002. He was born April 19, 1947, in Watertown the son of Ambrose P. and Anita C. (Foley) Fautsch. He was married to Lizabeth Ann Mileske.

He was a carpenter and was a member of Carpenters Local 1644. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam veteran and was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Mr. Fautsch was preceded in death by parents, Ambrose and Anita. He is survived by wife, Liz; and brothers, Mike Fautsch and Tom (Jodi) Fautsch, all of Delano.

Dorothy Hartell

Services for Dorothy (nee Rich) Hartell, 83, of Maple Grove will be Thursday, Jan. 31, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Brooklyn United Methodist Church, 7200 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center.

Burial will be in Maple Knoll Cemetery.

Mrs. Hartell was born in Chetek, Wis. He was a 50-year member of the Eau Claire Eastern Star Chapter 126 and Shrine Auxiliary, 25 year member of the Minneapolis Board of Realtors.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Walter Sr.

Survivors include sons, Charles and Walter Jr.; granddaughters, Julie, Valerie and Natalie; grandson, John Walter, great-grandson, Kylese.

Marjorie Henderson

Services for Marjorie H. Henderson, 83, of Plymouth were Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at 11 a.m. at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 18500 County Rd. 101, Maple Grove.

Burial was in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Henderson died peacefully at North Memorial Health Care Center Wednesday, Jan. 23.

Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years, Dick; sons, Greg Sr. (Merri Lee) of East Bethel, and Joel (Jane) of Maple Grove; grandchildren, Courtney, Greg Jr. and Geoff; other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Henderson was born in Minneapolis Dec. 26, 1918, and married Aug. 5, 1944, in Pensacola, Fla. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and was loved and cherished by all who knew her.

Memorials preferred to Lord of Life Lutheran Church.

Freddie Glampe

A private service was hosted for Freddie R. Glampe Jr., 64, of Rockford.

He is survived by wife, Mary J. Glampe; children, Kim Jerde, Bart Glampe, Brett Glampe, Freddie Glampe III and Mike Glampe; grandchildren, Angela and Scott; sister, Sandra Kath; and a niece, Dawn Kath.

Joanne T Reshetar

Joanne T. Reshetar, 66, of Champlin, who grew up in Loretto, and was long-time restaurateur of Little Jack's Steakhouse in northeast Minneapolis, died Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002, of a heart attack at her home in Champlin.

Services were Monday, Jan. 14, 2002, at 10 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clement's Catholic Church in Minneapolis.

Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery.

Mrs. Reshetar entered the restaurant business after marrying Jack Reshetar, the second generation of his family to run the steakhouse. Her son, Jason, and daughter, Melanie Reshetar, now own and manage the restaurant.

She was preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her loving husband of 41 years, Jack; children and spouses, Brad (Amy) Klick, Steve Klick, Jason (Barbara) Reshetar; Melanie Reshetar; grandchildren, Justin, Heidi, Steve, Shannon, Adam, Paul, Jeffrey, Jacob and Josie; great-grandchild, Madison; sister, Grace Bruno; and brother, Theodore Reimer.

Omer Robeck

Services for Omer E. Robeck, 73, of Brooklyn Center were at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2002. Rev. Leonard Siebenaler was the celebrant.

Benjamin Holthaus was a Mass server and Nicole, Emily and Sarah Robeck were gift bearers. Michael Holthaus gave the eulogy. Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Mr. Robeck died Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

He was born in St. Michael Jan. 23, 1928, the son of Leo and Emily Valerius Robeck.

On June 11, 1955, Omer Robeck and Dolores Zachmann were joined in holy marriage at St. Michael Catholic Church. Monsignor Geisenkoetter performed the wedding ceremony. God blessed their marriage with four children.

Mr. Robeck honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Dolores; his four children, Laurie (Michael) Holthaus of Buffalo, Anthony (Mary) Robeck of Brooklyn Center, Paul (Nancy) Robeck of Brainerd and Thomas Robeck of Brooklyn Center.

He had 10 grandchildren, Vincent, Andrew and Benjamin Holthaus; Nicole, Emily and Anthony Robeck Jr.; Sarah and Katie Robeck; Amanda and Victoria Robeck.

He will be missed by his brothers, Florus, Elmer and Richard; and sisters, Paula Kilts and Joan, Lila and Carmen Hiltner; many brothers in-law, sisters-in-law and friends.

Mr. Robeck is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Emily Robeck; brothers, Vernon and Loren Robeck; and sisters, Doris Conzet and Maureen Schablitsky.

Eldon Schirmers

Services for Eldon W. Schirmers, 81, of Crystal were Friday, Jan. 25, 2002, at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Raphael, 7301 Bass Lake Rd., Crystal.

He was born Aug. 31, 1920, in St. Michael and died Jan. 21, 2002.

Mr. Schirmers is survived by his wife of 60 years, Vivian; son, Bruce and wife, Linda, of Alaska; daughters, Gail Annand, Jeannie Fanning and husband, Craig, of Alaska, Lisa Sullivan and husband, Scott, and Darcy Eidsmoe and husband, Scott; 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Willard and Walter; sister, Joyce Spence; and other relatives and friends.

Don Osterberg

Services for Donald R. Osterberg, 76, of Maple Grove were Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, at 1 p.m. at Advent Lutheran Church, 9475 Jefferson Hwy. N., Maple Grove.

Burial was Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Osterberg was preceded in death by brother, Harold. Survivors include his wife, Melinda; daughter, Sharon (Tim) Martinson of Becker; and sister-in-law, Margaret of Minneapolis.

Joyce Askland

Services for Joyce E. Askland, 62, of Maple Grove were Friday, Jan. 18, 2002, at Shepherd of the Grove Lutheran Church, Maple Grove.

Burial was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Mrs. Askland died peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 15. She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Sr.; mother, Myrtle Fletcher; and father-in-law, Lewis Askland.

Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Tom) Schultz; grandchildren, Danielle and Jenna; son, Richard Jr. (Linda); grandson, Hunter; father, Glen Fletcher; sisters, Bev Sherman and Karen (Stan) Selvaag; brother, Ken (Bonnie) Fletcher; several nieces and nephews, including special niece, Terry.

Joseph Dzurik

Services for Joseph Dzurik Sr., 92, of Corcoran, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, were Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church with Interment at Holy Name Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by wife, Veronica.

He will be missed by his children, Joseph Jr. and wife Val of Buffalo, Jacqueline Falkenstein and husband Rick of Cleveland, Ohio, and Rick and wife Barbara of Corcoran; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Henry Frank

Services for Henry G. Frank, 78, of Maple Grove will be today (Wednesday) Jan. 16, 2002, at Maple Grove Covenant Church, 9350 Upland Lane N., Maple Grove.

Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Crystal.

Mr. Frank died Monday, Jan. 14, in New Hope. He was born June 16, 1923, in Philadelphia.

He was a member of Maple Grove Covenant Church.

Survivors include his wife, Linda; sons, William of Ft. Myers, Fla., and Paul of Maple Grove; daughters, Janice (Terry) Hopkins of Monticello, and Elizabeth Frank of Maple Grove; sisters, Florence Frank of Philadelphia, Jeannette Hoh of Woodbury, N.J., and Evelyn Jones of Monticello; and granddaughters, Amy and Katie Hopkins.

Memorials may be given to the Henry G. Frank Memorial Fund.
