John Dahlheimer

Services for John H. Dahlheimer, 74, of Champlin will be Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at 11 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gerard Catholic Church, 8600 Regent Ave. N., Brooklyn Park.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Dahlheimer is survived by his loving with of 51 years, Marion; children, Jane (Eric) Hagen, Jerry Dahlheimer, Judy (Roger) McCombs, Tricia Garrett, Marilys (Paul) Hommes, Lisa (Bob) Straus, Leanne (Rick) Straus, Brenda (Tim) Smith, Cheryl (Doyle) Land; 17 grandchildren; brother, Gene (Kem) Dahlheimer; sister, Marilyn Salo; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Lawrence Dupont

Services for Lawrence H. Dupont, 79, of Albertville were Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at 11:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael.

Rev. Leonard Siebenaler was the celebrant for the Mass and interment followed with military rites at St. Michael Cemetery.

Shane Krieger, Travis Krieger, Scott Krieger, Isaac Holker, Ben Holker and Sara Holker served as casket bearers.

Mr. Dupont died Friday, Dec. 7, 2001, at the Buffalo Hospital. He was born in Hamel on Dec. 19, 1921, the Son of Louis and Ida Bonneville Dupont.

Mr. Dupont honorably served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart.

On June 18, 1949, Lawrence H. Dupont and Helen Kapsner were joined in holy marriage in Lastrup, Minn. God blessed their marriage with three daughters.

He was a former long-time Dayton's receiving clerk. Mr. Dupont was a faithful member of The Church of St. Michael in St. Michael and belonged to VFW Post 5973, American Legion Post 567 and DAV. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, volunteering at his church and legion post and woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife, Helen Dupont; daughters, Pam (Ken) Krieger of Coon Rapids, Gwen (Clint) Gables of Mound and Cheryl (Louie) Holker of Swatara; grandchildren, Shane, Travis, Tammy, Scott, Sara, Julie, Annie, Isaac, Ben, Marcy, Rachel and twins due any day; great grandchildren, Zach, Josh and McKenzie; sisters and a brother, Eva McNeil of New Brighton, Mary Ann (Gene) Nelson of Blaine, Laverne (Mary) Dupont of Zimmerman and Shirley May of Plymouth; other relatives and friends.

Elsie M. Jans

Services for Elsie M. Jans, 98, of Buffalo, were Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo.

Pastor James Disney officiated and interment was in Lakeview Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Michael Greenhagen, Brian Jans, Jonathan Gilmer, Gregory Jans, Lyle Jans, Bradley Jans and Douglas Jans.

Mrs. Jans died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at the Ebenezer Covenant Home. She was born Dec. 6, 1902 in Woodland Township, the daughter of Albert and Minnie Krause Drusch. She was baptized Jan. 25, 1903. She was also confirmed in the Christian faith Oct. 17, 1917. Her confirmation memory verse was St. John 15:5.

She was united in marriage to Herbert Jans April 21, 1926 in Delano. The couple farmed in Chatham Township for 45 years. In 1961, they retired from farming and moved to Buffalo. Mrs. Jans then worked in the kitchen at the Wright County Retirement Center for several years. Mr. Jans preceded his wife in death July 21, 1991.

Mrs. Jans was a faithful member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. She belonged to LWML and also worked with St. John's sewing circle.

She is survived by sons, Gordon H. (Ruth) Jans and Dale F. (Karen) Jans, all of Buffalo; grandchildren, Barbara (Michael) Greenhagen, Brian (Kimberly) Jans, Diane (Jonathan) Gilmer, Chaplain Captain Gregory D. (Lydia) Jans, Lyle Jans, Bradley (Janet) Jans and Douglas (Denise) Jans; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Fred C. (Katherine) Drusch of Delano; other relatives and many friends.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Jans was preceded in death by parents and sisters, Albertina Drusch, Lena Carstensen and Emma Gloege.

Adeline Jessen

Services for Adeline L. Jessen, 81, formerly of Greenfield and St. Michael were Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001, at 11 a.m. at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenfield.

Pastor Dennis K. Strong officiated and interment followed at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery. Organist was Jan Nelson.

Mrs. Jessen died Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, at The Ebenezer Covenant Home. She was born in Buffalo Jan. 24, 1920, the daughter of Albert and Emma Rose Holland.

She was baptized at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo on May 12, 1920. She was also instructed in the Lutheran Catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo Aug. 13, 1933. Her confirmation verse was 11 Corinthians 5:15

She graduated from Buffalo High School in 1938 and was employed as a bookkeeper prior to her marriage.

On Sept. 24, 1949, Adeline Holland was joined in holy marriage to Nels Jessen at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buffalo. God blessed their marriage with three children. Mr. and Mrs. Jessen engaged in dairy farming in Greenfield for many years.

Nels P. Jessen preceded his wife in death Aug. 21, 2001.

Mrs. Jessen was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenfield and its Ladies Aid. She was a former Mission Board Member of The Lutheran Home in Belle Plaine. Mrs. Jessen was a former 4-H leader, a former 4-H Federation member and formerly belonged to the home extension.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by parents, Albert and Emma Rose Holland.

Survivors include children, Jennifer (Lyle) Nelson of Maple Grove, Nels Jessen III of St. Michael and fiancee Bernadette Balut and Laurie Jessen of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Tristin (Dale) Host, Mark Nelson, Adam Jessen and Drew Jessen; great grandchildren, Tarissa, Brandon and Jordon Host and Hunter Jessen; sister, Vera Ottenstroer of Buffalo; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Betty Pouliot, June (Harold) Jessen and Millard Gilmer and many other relatives and friends.

David Jungbauer

Services for David T. Jungbauer, 65, of St. Michael were Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at 11 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at The Church of St. Albert in Albertville.

Rev. Peter Richards was the celebrant and interment followed at St. Albert's Cemetery.

Mr. Jungbauer died of cancer Saturday, Dec. 8, at his residence. He was born in West St. Paul Nov. 28, 1936, the son of Bernard and Veronica Meade Jungbauer.

On April 6, 1956, David Jungbauer was joined in holy marriage to Joyce Young in Mason City, Iowa. God blessed their marriage with five children.

Mr. Jungbauer was a retired NPBN 35-year employee. He was also a member of The Church of St. Albert in Albertville.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years: Joyce Jungbauer; five children and 12 grandchildren.

Brian Allen Lanhart

Services for Brian Allen Lanhart, 35, of Brooklyn Park were Saturday, Dec. 15, 2001, at St. Gerard's Catholic Church, 9600 Regent Ave. N., Brooklyn Park.

Burial was in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Lanhart died Wednesday, Dec. 12, in Brooklyn Park.

He was a Brooklyn Park volunteer firefighter and a member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife and best friend, Colleen; daughters, Brenna and Chloe; parents, John and Diane Lanhart; sister, Michelle and finance Adam Johnson; extended family John, Lois and Christin Connoy; John, Kelly, Tyler and Talia Lego and many devoted friends and family.

Memorials may be given to the Brian Lanhart Memorial Fund.

Earl Joseph Morse

Earl Joseph Morse of Maple Grove died Oct. 28, 2001. He was born March 15, 1926.

Mr. Morse grew up in Alexandria and graduated in 1945. He started working for Minneapolis Moline in Hopkins in 1948 until the company closed its doors.

On Oct. 9, 1951, he married Ardell Hartman of Melrose. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 19, 2001, with a lot of good friends attending at Osseo Senior Center.

He moved to Maple Grove Dec. 26, 1967. Mr. Morse belonged to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and volunteered at Berkshire Residence and Osseo Health Care Center.

Mr. Morse had a stroke Jan. 9, 2000, and could no longer drive. But thanks to a lot of good friends he and his wife still got around.

He spent the last six weeks of his life at Crystal Lake Good Samaritan Center.

He and his sister Betty Hoosline of Anoka died on the same day, which was their mother's birthday.

Josephine Naymaster

Services for Josephine Ann (Zitka) Naymaster, 86, of Buffalo were Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, with a Mass of Christian Burial at The Church of St. Francis in Buffalo.

Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Ludomir G. Naymaster; children, Karin Odegard of Manchester, Conn., Marilyn (Leonard) Williams of Buffalo, Wendy (Gary) Lankki of Cokato, Sandy (Bob) Liestman of Maple Grove and Stephen (Lois) Naymaster of Fridley; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Dallas Nelson

Services for Dallas Lee Nelson, 75, of Maple Grove were Monday, Dec. 3, 2001 at 2 p.m. at Maple Grove Lutheran Church, 9251 Elm Creek Blvd., Maple Grove.

Mr. Nelson died Tuesday, Nov. 27.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys; daughter, Peg Hansen; son, Jay (Lori); grandchildren, Erick (Deb Pilger) Hansen, Leif Hansen and Jen Nelson; sister, Ramona (Leo) Hayes; many other relatives and friends.

Memorials preferred.

Selma F. Moriarity

Services for Selma F. (Sally) Moriarity, 95, of St. Michael, were Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001, at the Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home.

Rev. Highland Goodman officiated and interment followed at Crystal Lake Cemetery in Minneapolis.

Mrs. Moriarity died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Park View Care Center. She was born Dec. 8, 1906 in Boyd, the daughter of Gerhard and Otillie Johnson Flaa.

She married John C. Moriarity Feb. 7, 1947 in Minneapolis. She was formerly employed as a switchboard operator at the Veterans Administration and was a long-time member of the Sons of Norway.

She was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Edith Hauser and Mae Aspness and brother, Melvin Flaa.

Survivors include her husband, John C. Moriarity of St. Michael; son, William F. (Karen) Peterson of Monticello; grandchildren, William Scott (Doreen Johnson) Peterson, Robin Williams, Jacqueline (Gene) Crackel and Shayanne Peterson; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Blanche) Flaa of Reno, Nev.; sister, Lillian (David) Campbell of Richfield; nephews, Jeff and Keith Flaa and niece, Deb Campbell.

Andrew Otten

Services for Andrew N. Otten, 79, of Osseo are today, Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001, at 10 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Mr. Otten is survived by his wife of 52 years, Bernice; son, Gary; daughters, Ramona Otten, Roxanne (Ron) Graleski, Joanne Otten and Arlene Palmer; granddaughters, Heather and Lonnie; and great-grandson Amani.

Orlin Peik

A Celebration of Life for Orlin Conrad "O.C." Peik, 84, of Wayzata will take place 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 6, 2002, at American Legion Post 118, Wayzata.

Mr. Peik died Dec. 10, 2001, at Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park. He was born Sept. 7, 1917, in Brownton, attended Brownton High School Class of 1935 and graduated from St. Cloud Teachers College in 1940. During WWII he served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged April 19, 1946.

During his teaching and coaching career he taught at high schools in Henning, Lamberton and Morris before retiring from Minnetonka High School in 1978. He enjoyed sports and fishing, and spending time at the family cabin on Big Sandy Lake, McGregor.

Mr. Peik is survived by his wife of 60 years, Edna (Martin) Peik; children, Nancy (Walter) Seiler of Savage, Bruce Peik of Maple Grove, and Susan Peik (James Dickey) of Minneapolis; also four grandchildren, Sandra (Charles) Spicer, Bradford Peik, Laura Peik and Chad (Heather) Seiler; twin great-granddaughters Mariah and Asia.

Memorials preferred to American Kidney Fund.

Stephanie St. Mane-Marr

Services for Stephanie J. "Stevie" St. Mane-Marr, 26, of Champlin, were Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at the Church of St. Gerard in Brooklyn Park, with burial in Forest Hill Cemetery.

She is survived by husband, Mathew; parents, Barry and Mary St. Mane; sister, Jen McClellan (Barry); nieces, Claire and Sarah; grandmother, Dorothy Klaers; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Glen and Karen Marr; sisters-in-law, Katie and Maggie; her beloved Corgi "Pickle"; aunts, uncles, relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Animal Humane Society. Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel handled arrangements.

John Slough

Services for John K. Slough, 7, of Plymouth were Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at The Church of St Joseph the Worker, Maple Grove.

Interment was in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Maple Grove.

John was a second-grader at Cedar Island Elementary.

He is survived by parents, David and Colleen; sister, Katie; brother, Matt; grandparents, Ken and Shirley Heilinq of Wabasso, Sarah C. Slough of Alexandria, Va., and Mary Slough of Roanoke Va.; great-grandmothers Helen Gores of Arlington, and Muriel Powers of Roanoke, Va.; aunts, Kathy (Joe) Jenniges, Barb (Ron) Hoffman and Kelly (Bill) Tobes; uncles, Steve (Jan) Heiling and Stephen (Emily) Slough; and cousins.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, John Hall Slough.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Cancer Kids Fund, c/o Mpls. Children's Health Care, 2525 Chicago Ave S., Mpls., MN, 55404.
