Ruth Schendel
Services for Ruth M. Schendel, 86, of Corcoran are today, Monday, July 28, 2003, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 10025 Hwy. 101, Corcoran.
Interment will be in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Mrs. Schendel died July 23, 2003, in Corcoran. She was born April 30, 1917.
She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Corcoran. She was a supportive wife and mother in their many endeavors and was very active in the community.
Mrs. Schendel is survived by sons, Robert (Deborah) and Phillip (Beth); daughters, Kathryn and Margaret (Henry) Sporleder; grandchildren, Scott (Gie-Hue), Aaron, Krystal, Ryan and Joy; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by husband, Herbert; brother, Richard Schoch; and Bernice Kinghorn.

Caroline J. Schutte
Services for Caroline J. Schutte, 91 of Osseo, formerly of Maple Grove were Friday, Aug. 1, 2003 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Maple Grove.
She died Sunday, July 27, 2003.
The expression "Nothing loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much" was coined specifically for Mrs. Schutte. She spoke of her "angels"- family and friends who were near and dear to heart. She was kindness and thoughtfulness personified, welcoming to young and old, delighting in the accomplishments of others, always busy, useful and willing to help, always enjoying the day to day pleasures of nature and people and places. We shall miss her greatly.
Mrs. Schutte is survived by her children, Diane (Robert) Hewitt, Karen (Dennis) Holmen, Dean (Nancy) Schutte, and Kim (Joel) Owen; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other dear relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Schutte; parents, Henry and Elise Radintz; sisters, Gertrude Frank and Marie Berndt; and brothers, Leonard, Ted and Alfred Radintz.
John VanBeusekom
Services for John VanBeusekom, 92, of Delano, were Saturday, July 26, 2003, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Delano.
Fr. Michael Miller officiated and interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Delano.
Pallbearers were grandchildren, Kristin Zarama, Joseph VanBeusekom, Jeremy VanBeusekom, Timothy VanBeusekom, Benjamin VanBeusekom, Anthony VanBeusekom, Melissa Hanson, Suzan Safari, Karina VanBeusekom, Rose Perlick, Michael VanBeusekom, Patrick VanBeusekom, Lindsay VanBeusekom, Greg VanBeusekom and Cindy Anderson.
Mr. VanBeusekom died Thursday, July 24, 2003, at the Delano Healthcare Center. He was born July 11, 1911 to Herman and Elizabeth (DeWitt) VanBeusekom in Loretto.
Mr. VanBeusekom was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus and a 20-plus year employee of Superior Dairy Fresh Companies. In addition he owned and operated his family's farm.
He is preceded in death by his wives, Frances Kittock VanBeusekom and Frances Dougherty VanBeusekom and 12 brothers and sisters.
He is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Karl and Marcella, Roger and Mary, Mark and Karen and Jeffrey and Leta; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Dorothy VanBeusekom.
Kathleen Berman
Services for Kathleen (Canning) Berman, 37, of Rogers were Friday, July 18, 2003, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Edina.
Mrs. Berman died tragically from injuries suffered in an automobile accident July 14, 2003.
She was the beloved wife of Jeffrey Alan Berman; daughter of Lee and Marge Canning; and daughter-in-law of Jerod and Joni Berman; sister to Michael (Nancy) Canning, Mark (Deb) Canning; Helen Canning, Trish (Rob) Crane, Colleen (Diwa) Canning, Susan (Gary) Kenniston, Peg (Mike) Russell and Maureen (Jeff) Clipperton; sister-in-law of Joel (Shari) Berman; 24 nieces and nephews.
Also survived by best buds, Shonee, Shakira, Sebby and Harley.
Mrs. Berman graduated from Hopkins High School and Augsburg College and was a financial planner for Advisors Financial Service.
Kate was the sunshine in many people's hearts. She touched the lives of all who knew her and will be greatly missed. We love you, Kate. Viva Las Vegas!
Paul J. Bradtke
Service of remembrance for Paul J. Bradtke, 34, of Osseo was Sunday, July 27, 2003 at Bread of Life Lutheran Church for the Deaf in Minneapolis.
Mr. Bradtke passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 18, 2003 at his home.
He is survived by his loving mother, Elizabeth; children, Rachel, Kayla, April and Ryley Dennis; brother, Gregory (Jennifer) Carlson; and in-laws, Judy and Jim Layer.
Donna Mae Feltz
Services Donna Mae (nee Corbin), 73, of Dayton were Monday, July 21, 2003, at St. John the Babptist Catholic Church in Dayton.
Mrs. Feltz was preceded in death by husband, Leon Jr. "Gene".
She is survived by son, Jeff (Linda) of Zimmerman; three grandsons, Shawn, Jesse and Dylan; granddaughter, Casey; special niece, Lori Thompson of Dayton; special great-niece, Lyric; special great-nephew, Jaden; brothers, Dale Corbin of Milaca, and Jim (Barb) Corbin of Dayton; sisters-in-law, Cecile Corbin, Donna Julik, Marie Corbin, Marion Wamhoff and Sr. Irene Feltz, and Dorothy Manhart; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Interment was in Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials to the Donna Mae Feltz Memorial Fund.
George Leck
Services for George A. Leck, 64, of Maple Grove were Thursday, July 17, 2003, at the Church of St. Raphael in Crystal.
Interment was at the Gethsemane Cemetery.
Mr. Leck was a retired employee of the Minnesota Department of Transportation and an avid golfer. He was also a member of the Crystal Knights of Columbus Council 3656.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Brian (Trisha); daughter, Julie (Ron) Meyer; grandchildren, Collin, Andrew, Anna and Angelica; and brothers, Dennis and Bill (Lucia) Leck.
Mr. Leck is preceded in death by his son, Bradley Joseph.
Suzann Wimmer
Services for Suzann Clara Wimmer, 43, of St. Michael were Thursday, July 17, 2003 at the Church of St. Michael in St. Michael.
Father Michael Becker and Pastor Tom Johnson officiated the Mass. Interment followed at the St. Michael Cemetery.
Family and friends called at The Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home Wednesday, July 16, from 4 to 8 p.m. A prayer service was at 7 p.m.
Honorary casket bearers were Mike Gold, Kristina Keller, Jeff Nelson, Laurie Steigaus, Chris Zeece and Rodney Ziemer.
Casket bearers were Sue Cromwell, Pete Keller, Keith Nelson, Janet Root, Ryan Roschen and Bob Wimmer.
Lector was Keith Nelson and the Eulogy was given by Mike Keller and Rita Ann Ziemer.
Gift bearers were Alexandra Engelmann, Halle Jaksa, Neysia Wimmer and Rita Ann Ziemer.
Ms. Wimmer died Sunday, July 13, 2003, at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale from injuries received in a motorcycle accident. She was born Jan. 23, 1960, in Little Falls the daughter of Lawrence and Mathilda Gold Wimmer.
She graduated from Pierz High School in 1978 and later received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota-Morris. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and was a clinical psychologist.
She was a generous donor to charitable causes, especially ones regarding the underprivileged. She also loved and enjoyed the outdoors.
Ms. Wimmer is survived by her children, Michael Layne Roschen-Wimmer, 17, and Raquel Ann Roschen-Wimmer, 11; parents, Larry and Mattie Wimmer of Pierz; sisters and brothers, Donna (Rod) Ziemer of Leavenworth, Kan., Kathy (Gary) Engelmann of Brainerd, Joe (Bernice) Wimmer of Alexandria, Joanie (Rob) Jaksa of Shorewood and Michael (Kari) Wimmer of Centennial, Colo.; her fiancee, Michael Keller of East Bethel; godmother and aunt, Bev Gold; many loving aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends.
Floyd Anderson
Services for Floyd Bjorsterne Anderson, 66, of Greenfield were Thursday, July 10, 2003, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover.
Pastor Paul R. Settergren officiated and interment with military rites followed at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
Honorary casket bearer was Robert Campbell.
Casket bearers were David Risch, Jack Dick, James Geronsin, Michael Geronsin, Randy Hall and Duane Kehn.
Mr. Anderson died Friday, July 4, 2003, at his residence. He was born on Nov. 22, 1936, in Columbia Heights, the son of Alvin and Ester Ostrom Anderson.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1957.
On April 2, 1960, Floyd Anderson and Carol Splittstozer were joined in holy marriage at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenfield by Pastor W.P. Haar. God blessed their marriage with two sons.
Mr. Anderson was formerly employed at A.C. Carlson, Bill Faulkner Appliance and at General Electric.
He was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover.
He is survived by wife, Carol J. Anderson; sons Bradley Anderson of Eden Prairie and daughter Margot and Larry (Lisa) Anderson of Crystal and daughters Chloe and Kayla; sisters, Ethel (Rueben Johnson) Hall, Lou (Richard) Reimer and Marie (Donald) Waters; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends including Bradley's close friend Anne and daughter Kate.
He was preceded in death by parents Alvin and Ester Anderson, a sister, Clarice Domres, and a brother, Curtis "Bud" Anderson.
Teresa E. Durant
Services for Teresa E. Durant, 58, of Maple Grove were Tuesday, July 15, 2003, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Crystal.
Interment was at Crystal Lake.
Mrs. Durant was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving as young women's president, primary teacher and many other activities.
She was also a long-time enthusiastic employee of Target Corp. and a world traveler.
Mrs. Durant is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jack, her silver lining; children, Paula Durant, Melanie (Tom) Lehman, Lisa (Bruce) Graber, John (Carolyn) Durant, Danielle, Rachel and Vanessa Durant; grandchildren and great-grandson, Morgan "Sunshine", Kayla, Samantha, Hannah Rose, Brady "Man", DeVante, Whitney, Jaci, Andrew, James, John, Paul and Brendan "Bubby"; sisters, Carroll (Vern) Edmonds and Mary Alice Rogers; brothers Charles Morgan, James (Angie) Morgan and Richard (Pamela) Morgan.
LaVerne Ferrian
LaVerne K. Ferrian, age 63, of Albertville died Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at Fairview-University Hospital in Minneapolis.
She was born in Rogers on January 12, 1940, the daughter of Conrad and Kathleen Kaufman Ferrian.
LaVerne was formerly employed for 34 years as a bookkeeper at The State Bank of Rogers.
She was a faithful member of Word of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers.
LaVerne will be remembered for her kind and caring manor.
Survived by a brother, Larry (Gloria) Ferrian of Albertville; three nieces and nephew, Scott (Kristen) Ferrian of Albertville, Kim Ferrian of Anoka, Vickie Ferrian-Strunk and Stacy (Perry) Tatro all of Monticello; five great-nieces and two great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Conrad and Kathleen Ferrian.
Funeral services for LaVerne Ferrian were held at 2 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2003 at Word of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers. Pastor Rick Skare officiated and interment followed at Word of Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
Michael Sahlen was the organist for the funeral service. "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace" were sung as congregational hymns.
Friends called at the church on Sunday, July 6 from 5-8 p.m.
Scott Ferrian, Chet Drewelow, Perry Tatro, Leonard Ross, Martin Robertson and Douglas Bleess served as casket bearers.
