Ludomir G. Naymaster

Funeral services for Ludomir G. Naymaster, 90, of Cokato, formerly of Buffalo, were Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, at Church of St. Francis in Buffalo.

Mr. Naymaster was a farmer and longtime machinist at Minneapolis Moline and at Onan Power Generation.

He is survived by his children, Karin Odegard of Manchester, Conn., Marilyn (Leonard) Williams of Buffalo, Wendy (Gary) Lankki of Cokato, Sandy (Bob) Liestman of Maple Grove, and Stephen (Lois) Naymaster of Fridley; 12 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Naymaster is preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Josephine Ann Naymaster, Dec. 5, 2001.

Elizabeth Perrault

Services for Elizabeth "Betty" Perrault, 79, of Monticello were Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, at 10 a.m. at St. Albert's Catholic Church of Albertville, with Rev. Tim Rudolphi officiating.

Interment was in St. Albert's Cemetery.

Mrs. Perrault passed away Friday, Jan. 17, at the Guardian Angels Care Center of Elk River.

She was born Sept. 6, 1923, in Minneapolis to Marion and Ellen (Walsh) Chase. She graduated from South High School in Minneapolis in the Class of 1943. She was employed by National School Studios for five years, and then at the University of Minnesota Hospital for nearly 20 years where she worked in the dark room and also taught some classes.

On Sept. 24, 1966, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Perrault. She had made her home in rural Monticello (Otsego) for the past several years. She was a current member of the St. Albert's Catholic Church and St. Albert's Christian Mothers and Women. She was a former president of the Northwest Deanery and the Monticello Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a former member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Minneapolis, the Dominic Club, the Junior Catholic League, and Religion Education Social Apostolic.

She is survived by her daughter, Ellen, of Monticello; sisters-in-law, Irma of Monticello, Florence of Minneapolis, Barbara of California; brother-in-law, Howard (Faye) of South Carolina; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth in 1997; her twin, Patrick; brother, Jack; sisters, Ellen (Bob) Keating, Margaret (Frank) Weischelbaum; and nieces, Barbara Keating and Patti Ashmead.

Patricia A. Stein

Services were for Patricia A. Stein, 58, of Champlin were Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka.

Mrs. Stein was born Dec. 25, 1944, in Park Rapids, Minn. She died Jan. 22, 2003, at her home. She worked as an accountant. She is preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey; her mother, Mabel Carlson; and two brothers.

She is survived by her husband, Duane; son, Gregory (Amy); grandchildren, Evan, Caleb and Molly; father, Herb Carlson; brothers, Dennis, Roger, Richard, Gaylord, Russell and Daniel Carlson; sisters, Arlene Koski, Ava Crabb, Karen Carlson and Tina Tjepkes.

Interment was at the Champlin Cemetery.

Kurt A. Sundseth

Funeral services for Kurt A. Sundseth, 54, of Maple Grove were Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at the Gearty Delmore Robbinsdale Chapel. Interment was at Crystal Lake.

Mr. Sundseth was a member of the Teamsters Local 120.

He is survived by his wife, Claudia; sons, Corey and Derrick; brothers, Kent Sundseth and Craig (Debbie) Sundseth; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mr. Sundseth is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Correne Sundseth.

Memorials are preferred to the North Residential Hospice.Iola Urbashich

Funeral services for Iola N. Urbashich, 89, of Maple Grove were Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Brooklyn Park.

Interment was at St. Vincent's Cemetery in Osseo.

Mrs. Urbashich was a coronary care nurse and graduated from St. Scholastica and Sisters of St. Frances in Duluth with a nursing degree.

She is survived by husband, Herman; children, Patricia (Jerry) Mitchell, Herm Jr. (Martha), Eileen Urbashich, and Mary Ann Urbashich-Nelson; grandchildren, Erin (Isie) Urbashich, Erin (Joseph Micallef) Urbashich, Elizabeth (David) Coudron, Annie (Garratt) Detrick, Mark (Elizabeth) Mitchell, Michelle (Jon) Levine, Monica (Craig) Bongart, and Michael (Lora) Mitchell; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Urbashich is preceded in death by her grandson, John Urbashich; sister, Phay Rubbish; and son-in-law, Rev. Dr. Paul Nelson.

William Ward, Jr.

Services for William Ward, Jr., 76, of Rockford, were Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at Our Father's Lutheran Church in Rockford.

Pastor Larry Rehlander officiated and interment with military rites followed at Elmwood Cemetery.

Ronald Harff, Donald Harff, Earl Harff, Paul Paradis III, Matthew Torfin and Todd Tillisch served as casket bearers.

Mr. Ward died Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, at The Delano Healthcare Center. He was born April 19, 1926 in Burdine, Ky., the son of William and Sarah Mayfield Ward Sr.

He honorably served his country in The United States Navy during World War II.

On November 6, 1944, he was joined in marriage to Bernice Zellman in Minneapolis. They had four children.

Ward was baptized and confirmed as an adult Jan. 28, 1951 at Concordia Lutheran Congregation in Minneapolis.

He was a member of Our Father's Lutheran Church in Rockford, the DAV and also belonged to American Legion Post 377 in Delano. Mr. Ward was a former longtime machinist.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bernice Ward of Rockford; Children, Dennis (Carol) Ward of Lakeville, Denise (David) Torfin of Rockford, David (Joyce) Ward of St. Louis Park and Douglas (Dawn) Ward of Rockford; 10 grandchildren and four great -grandchildren; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.

Bessie Young

Funeral services for Bessie "Bess" Young, 94, of Osseo were Friday, Jan. 10, 2003, at the Washburn-McReavy Swanson Chapel in Minneapolis.

Interment was at Crystal Lake Cemetery.

Mrs. Young is survived by children: William C. (Wendla), Loretta (Charles) Macht, Eugene (Donna), Sheila (Malcolm) Christianson, Patricia (Bruce) Hansen, and Eileen (Sheldon) Jones; 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William; sister, Ethel; and brothers, Roy and Richard.

Diane Cook

A memorial service for Diane Cook, 58, of Maple Grove was Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at the Cremation Society of Minnesota Brooklyn Park Chapel.

Mrs. Cook passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, in Minneapolis. She was born Feb. 23, 1946 in Hibbing.

She was a longtime research librarian, first at the U of M Physics Library and then at Honeywell.

She will be deeply missed by her sister, Karin Lukens; nephews, Jeff (Karen) Lukens, Steve (Jeanne) Lukens; nieces, Jane Lukens, and Diana (Mike) Weber; stepfather, Jim Baumgardner; many other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Cook is preceded in death by her father, Frank Cook; and her mother, Loretta Baumgardner.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Lyric Arts - Main Street Stage Theatre.

Charlotte Heitkamp

A memorial service for Charlotte Heitkamp, 64, of Maple Grove, formerly of Adrian was Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, at the Adrian Funeral Home of Adrian.

She died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2004, at her home in Maple Grove.

She is survived by her two sons, Bret (Diane) Heitkamp of Champlin, and Kyle (Eileen) Heitkamp of Excelsior; grandchildren, Kayln, Stephanie, Scotty, Marshall and Hannah Heitkamp; mother, Minnie Lund of Adrian; sisters, Mavis King of Dell Rapids, S.D. and Mary Kloster of Otsego; and special friend, Gene Horbal of Maple Grove.

Larry S. Lilliquist

Services for Larry S. Lilliquist, 55, were Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home in Osseo.

Mr. Lilliquist died Thursday, Dec. 16, 2004, in Jackson, Miss. He was born Sept. 23, 1949, in Hallock.

He is survived by his daughters, Kimberley Pribyl of Monticello and Lyndsey Lilliquist of Osseo; grandchildren, Coollin and Kayla Pribyl of Monticello; mother, Dorothy Lilliquist of Brooklyn Center; sisters, Dale Marie Sieber of Bloomington, Patti (Rick) Orvis of Anoka, Linette Lilliquist of Anoka; and many special friends who touched his heart in his journey through life.

Mr. Lilliquist is preceded in death by his father, Arden.

Donald E. Pitts

Services for Donald E. Pitts, 70, of Maple Grove were Thursday, Dec. 23, 2004, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Brooklyn Park.

Interment was at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in Osseo.

Mr. Pitts died Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, in Robbinsdale. He was born Jan. 25, 1934, in Luverne.

He was a 1959 graduate of Mankato State University.

Mr. Pitts was very active in the Osseo American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce E.; children, David (Kelly) and children Alexis, Ashley and Ariel of Forest Lake, Robert (Joleen) and children Samantha and Jacob of Big Lake, Jennifer (Alan) Stroh and children Andrew, Jordan and Tyler of Brooklyn Center; and mother Lillian Pitts of New Hope.

Mr. Pitts is preceded in death by his father, Robert; and sisters, Juanita and Donna.

Robert J. "Zip" Zeller

Robert J. "Zip" Zeller, 78, of Waverly were Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Waverly.

Rev. Timothy Cloutier officiated with music was provided by St. Mary's Church Choir and Therese Borrell, organist.

Military Honors were provided by the Charlie Claessen American Legion Post 305. Interment was in the church cemetery.

Mr. Zeller died peacefully Friday, Dec. 17, 2004, at his home in Waverly with his family by his side. He touched many lives with his sense of humor, compassion, kindness, integrity, and loyalty to family and friends. He grew up in Waverly. Upon his retirement, he and wife Phyllis built a home on Waverly Lake, where they were active in the Lake Association, church and community.

He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and shortly after began a long and successful career in the banking industry. Zip was a talented baseball player and played third base for Howard Lake and Waverly throughout his 20s. In 2003, he was inducted into the North Star League Hall of Fame.

He was an active fisherman, hunter, and golfer and recently enjoyed one last hunting trip in early December. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mr. Zeller was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Phyllis (Hoffman).

He is survived by his children, Ann Zeller, Steve and Deb Zeller, Paul and Barb Zeller, and Barb and Dave Kenison; grandchildren, Jola, Steven, Peter, John and Thomas; bother, Ed and Labelle Zeller; sisters, Gert and Paul Donovan, Vi and Chuck Asgian, Mary and Wally Grotz, Cathy and Jim Borrell and Rose and Wayne Malachek; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.

George Cobey

George Cobey, 91, of Maple Grove died on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2004.

A private interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Florencetta; children, Marsha (Jerry) Spetz, Dennis, Cindy Sutton, and Joette (Larry) Johnson; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Gladys Boxeth and Marilyn Cooper.
