Evelyn Bolduc

Services for Evelyn R. Bolduc, 76, formerly of South Minneapolis and Greenfield, were Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenfield.

Pastor Dennis K. Strong officiated and interment followed at Salem Lutheran Cemetery.

Cindy Steinke was the organist for the funeral service. Congregational hymns were "One Eagles' Wings," What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "How Great Thou Art."

Casket Bearers were Jim Murray, Parc Gunderson, Marvin Bursch, Alvin Bursch, Ray Korblick and Vern Dotseth.

Mrs. Bolduc died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004, of Alzheimer's at St. Louis Park Plaza Healthcare Center. She was born Sept. 21, 1927, in Greenwood Township, Hennepin County, the daughter of Edward and Alma Marty Splittstoesser.

She was baptized Oct. 16, 1927, at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenwood by Rev. W.P. Haar Sr. She was also instructed in the Lutheran Catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church March 17, 1940, by Rev. W.P. Haar Sr. Psalm 86: 11 "Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name" was her confirmation memory verse.

On June 12, 1947, Evelyn R. Splittstoesser and David T. Bolduc were joined in holy marriage at Redeemer Lutheran Church in St. Paul. God blessed their marriage with a daughter: JoAnne.

Mrs. Bolduc was formerly employed as a dispatcher at Minneapolis Truck Terminal for 26 years. She was a faithful member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenfield and a former Church Greeter.

She was an excellent organist and pianist. She enjoyed gardening, needlepoint work, embroidering, her cats, playing cards and traveling.

Mrs. Bolduc is survived by husband David T. Bolduc of Osseo; a daughter: JoAnne J. (James E.) Murray of Maple Grove; grandchildren: Jodi (Parc) Gunderson and James P. Murray; great-grandchild, Avery Gunderson; a sister, Esther Johnson of Osseo; other relatives and& friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Alma Splittstoesser.

Ann Clark

Services for Ann Clark, 87, of Osseo were Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, at Miller-Methven-Taylor Funeral Home.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

She is survived by her sister, Julie Gonko; son-in-law; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Mrs. Clark is preceded in death by her husband, Dick; daughters, Joyce Moe and Jean Hallman.

Paul William Powers

Stanley C. Steiner

Services for Stanley C. Steiner, 84, of Osseo were Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at Faith Lutheran Church in Waconia.

Interment was at Faith Rutz Lake Cemetery in Waconia.

He is survived by his step-daughter, Patricia Drewlo; step-son, Larry Saukko; sons, Stanley C. Steiner and Rick Steiner; daughters, Fay, Paulette and Sandra; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Sheila Steiner of Waconia; brother-in-law, Harold Kelting of Edina; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

L. Eugene Greene

Services for L. Eugene Greene ("Jim", "Jimmy", "Gene"), 91, of Buffalo and formerly of St. Paul were Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, at the Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home.

Chaplain Phil Geoffrion officiated. Interment with military rites was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Special music was provided by Rolf and Marlene Mohwinke.

Casket bearers were the seven grandchildren, Bryan and Brent Ek, Jeremy and Dawn Ackerman, and Selena, Todd and Chandra Rasset.

Mr. Greene died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo. He was born May 25, 1913, in Hanska, Minn., the son of Olaf and Mathea Christensen Greene.

He graduated from Madelia High School in 1932. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. Mr. Greene served in the Asiatic Pacific Theater and was awarded a bronze star.

On May 24, 2941, L. Eugene Greene and Evelyn J. Heyduk were joined in holy marriage in St. Paul. God blessed their marriage with three daughters.

He was a longtime milkman for the St. Paul Milk Company. He was a lifetime member of the Rand-View VFW Post 6210 in St. Paul. Through the years he was an avid hunter.

Mr. Greene is survived by daughters, Pamela (Gregory) Ackerman of Minnetonka and Patricia (Stephen) Rasset of Buffalo; a son-in-law, Joseph Ek of Oakdale; seven grandchildren, Bryan and Brent Ek, Jeremy and Dawn Ackerman, Selena, Todd and Chandra Rasset; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Sadie Nundahl of Perham; a brother, Omer Green of Oakdale; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Trudy Ek in 1991, his wife, Evelyn J. Greene in 1996; his parents, Olaf and Mathea; and by two brothers.

Memorials are suggested to Allina Hospice.

Ralph Eull

Services for Ralph V. Eull, 82, formerly of Fletcher, Crosslake and Mesa, Ariz., were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at St. Walburga Catholic Church in Fletcher.

Rev. Mark Moriarty was the celebrant. Interment followed at St. Walburga Cemetery. Rosanne Halloran was the vocalist for the mass.

Casket bearers were Lonnie Diethert, Andrew Eull, Matt Eull, Paul Gonyea, Jack McCormack and Jon David Schlough.

Mr. Eull died Wednesday evening, Sept. 1, at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale.

He was born Aug. 3, 1922, in rural Buffalo the son of Vernard and Elizabeth Krieger Eull.

Mr. Eull attended Dunwoody Institute earning an electrical license. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.

On Aug. 5, 1944, Ralph V. Eull and Jean M. Billodeau were joined in holy marriage at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Rogers.

He was a longtime employee and owner of Lohstreter Electric of Long Lake, which served the western suburbs of Minneapolis.

He enjoyed his family, fishing, working and cutting wood.

Mr. Eull is survived by wife, Jean M. Eull; children: John (Nora) Eull of Oconomowoc, Wis., Nancy (Jack) McCormack of Plymouth, Gary Eull (life companion Richele) of St. Paul, Michelle Stender (companion Todd) of Minneapolis and Tom (Kathi) Eull of New Hope; son-in-law, David Schlough of Sartell; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Bernard Eull and Mercedes Varner, both of Buffalo, Kenneth (Zita) Eull of St. Michael, Aaron (Kathleen) Eull of Albertville, Marian (Ray) Altendorf of Maple Plain, Jeanette (Jim) Able of Buffalo and Betty (Bill) Conway of Plymouth; a sister-in-law, Connie Eull of Elk River; a brother-in-law, Roy Varner of Buffalo; many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Schlough Nov. 15, 2003; his parents, Vernard and Elizabeth Eull; sisters and brothers, Ledena S. Varner, Roderick "Bob" Eull, Earl Eull, Jeanne A. Durant and Daniel "Danny" Eull.

Gail Fritz

Services for Gail H. Fritz, 59, of Hanover were Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, at the Plymouth Apostolic Lutheran Church.

Rev. Charles Bergstedt officiated. Jeanne Dixon was the vocalist for the funeral service.

Casket Bearers were Dana Negard, Dave Heinz, Ted Leadens, Larry Miller, Tim Johnson and Gene Kramer.

Mr. Fritz died suddenly Tuesday, Aug. 31, at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. He was born Oct. 29, 1944, in Killdeer, N.D., the son of Herbert and Thelma Odren Fritz.

On Nov. 27, 1963, Gail H. Fritz and Julie Isaacson were joined in marriage at Julie's parents' home in Minneapolis. God blessed their marriage with three children.

He is a graduate of North High School in 1964. He was a former manager of the Tally Ho restaurants in Minneapolis and Elk River. He also formerly engaged in brick laying and stucco. For the past 35 years, he was the proprietor of Gail's Excavating.

He belonged to the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover and was a past church council member.

Mr. Fritz was a charter member of the Hanover Lions Club and formerly served on the Hanover Village Council, and a Royal Arch Mason-Plymouth Lodge 160 of Minneapolis 1966 Columbian, Chapter.

He enjoyed his friends and loved his dogs. He was always fond of the outdoors, fishing, snowmobiling and four-wheeling.

Mr. Fritz is survived by loving wife, Julie Fritz; children, David Fritz of Hanover, Richard (Monica) Fritz of Albertville and Tena (Dwight) Keenan of Rogers; grandchildren, Taylor and Abigail; sisters, Elaine (Gary) Forbord of Grand Rapids and Debbie Pallomallo of Goldsboro, N.C.; brothers, Larry (Linda) Fritz of Blaine and Nicky Clapp of Minneapolis; step-father, Joseph Radoush of St. Michael; mother-in-law: Eileen Isaacson of Rogers; aunts, uncles, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Fritz and Thelma Radoush; an infant brother and by his father-in-law, Delbert Isaacson.

Albert Kremer

Services for Albert M. Kremer, 86, of St. Michael were Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael.

Rev. Leonard F. Siebenaler was the celebrant. Interment followed at St. Michael Cemetery.

Casket bearers were David Schulte, Curt Fischer, Jim Kremer, Bob Tillmann, Ken Gutzwiller and George Kremer.

Mr. Kremer died early Sunday morning, Sept. 5, at Park View Care Center in Buffalo. He was born April 17, 1918, in St. Michael the son of Carl and Kathryn Heuring Kremer.

On Aug. 29, 1953, Albert M. Kremer and Corintha F. Schulte were joined in holy marriage at St. Michael Catholic Church.

He engaged in dairy farming in Frankfort Township, Wright County, for many years and later worked at REO Plastics.

Mr. Kremer enjoyed traveling and he traveled worldwide with his wife and daughter.

He was a lifelong, faithful member of St. Michael Catholic Church.

He is survived by loving daughter, Theresa (Dan) Lenz of St. Michael; a granddaughter, Christina Kremer; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Kremer; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by son, Edward A. Kremer in 1984, his wife, Corintha F. Kremer in 1998, his parents, Carl and Kathryn Kremer; a sister and three brothers.

LuVerne Schnappauf

Services for LuVerne C. "Sonny" Schnappauf, 70, of Rockford were Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2004, at Our Father's Lutheran Church in Rockford.

Pastor Charles Anderson officiated and interment followed at Elmwood Cemetery.

Friends called at the church on Tuesday, Sept. 7, from 4 to 8 p.m.

Casket Bearers were Mike Rux, Dick Hines, Bill Sipe, LeRoy Houchin, John Hoffman and Bill Devens.

Mr. Schnappauf died Sunday, Sept. 5, 2004, at his residence. He was born on July 1, 1934, in Loretto the son of Charles J. and Gertrude Harff Schnappauf. He was baptized at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Greenwood Township, Hennepin County. He was also instructed in the Lutheran Catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in North Minneapolis.

Mr. Schnappauf was formerly employed as a truck driver for many years by Our Own Hardware. He also belonged to the Teamsters Union Local 120.

On Dec. 23, 1991, LuVerne C. Schnappauf and Rose B. Hudkins were joined in marriage in Buffalo.

Mr. Schnappauf is survived by wife, Rosie Schnappauf; daughter, Debbie Schanppauf of Rosemount; three sons, Douglas and David Schnappauf, both of Minneapolis and Brian (Colleen) Schnappauf of Otsego; numerous Grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three stepdaughters, Pam of Minneapolis, Irene of Strake, Fla., and Brenda of Rockford; sisters, Margaret Smith, Lorraine Kessel, Harriet Hansen, Louise Case, Carol (Charles) Hayes and Lois DeJong; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles J. and Gertrude Schnappauf; a son: Blake L. Schnappauf; a grandson, Joshua Schnappauf, a brother, Harold Schnappauf and sisters, Eileen Schnappauf and Muriel Peterson.

Dennis Peikert

Services for Dennis Philip Peikert, 63, of Rogers and formerly of Greenfield were Tuesday evening, Sept. 14, 2004, at 7 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel St. Michael-Albertville Funeral Home.

Rev. Dick Enerson of Hope Evangelical Free Church in Osceola, Wis., officiated.

Honorary casket bearers were Larry Waldvogel, Jerry Rux, Fred Kettenacker, Bill Sipe, Peter Meyer and Donny Daluge.

Mr. Peikert died early Friday morning, Sept. 10, at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. He was born July 23, 1941, in Maple Plain the son of William F. and Lorrayne Hillstrom Peikert.

He graduated from Rockford High School in 1959.

He was employed in construction for many years.

Mr. Peikert is survived by children, Daniel (Laurie) Peikert of Osceola, Wis., Phil Peikert of Crystal, Becky (Dean) Torgerson of Maple Lake and Paul (Kate) Peikert of Rogers; 13 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a brother, Gerald (Joyce) Peikert of South Haven; three nieces, aunts, uncles and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lorrayne Peikert.
