John R. Kollasch

Services for John R. Kollasch, 69, of Maple Grove were Monday, April 19, 2004, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Maple Grove.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

He died Tuesday, April 13, 2004, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. Mr. Kollasch was born March 28, 1935, in Rodman, Iowa.

Mr. Kollasch was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Colleen; sons, Patrick of Minneapolis, Michael (Stacey) of Maple Grove, Joseph (Donna) of New Prague, Anthony of Boston, and Christopher of Otsego; grandchildren, Jamie, Becky, MacKenzie, Samantha and Jacob; brothers, William Kollasch of Iowa and Richard Kollasch of Illinois; sisters, Geraldine Wolfe of Iowa, Mary Jo Jorgensen of Iowa, and Patricia Albert of Iowa.

If so desired memorials may be given to the John R. Kollasch Memorial Fund.

Stella Larsen

Services for Stella Henrietta Larsen, 86, of Albertville were Monday, April 12, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. at Life In Christ Lutheran Church in Albertville.

Officiating was Rev. Michael Trask. Interment was held in Riverside Cemetery in Riceville, Iowa.

Mrs. Larsen died Friday, April 9, at the Delano Health Care Center in Delano.

She was born Dec. 26, 1917, in rural Winneshiek County, Iowa, to Bennie J. and Salema M. (Pederson) Jacobson. She attended and graduated from Cresco High School in 1937. She was united in marriage to Leonard L. Larsen in 1939 and to this union were born two children, Sharon and David.

She was an employee of Riceville Hospital, until she came to Minneapolis in 1961. She retired from St. Mary's Hospital in 1983 and moved to the St. Michael-Albertville area and made a home with her daughter and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Burdette; brother-in-laws Victor, Nelson (Duke), Elmer (Kenneth) and Duwayne Larsen; sisters-in-law, Arlene Bonnett, Laura and Mildred Stevensons; former husband, Leonard; son, David, and her furry feline friend. Sniffles.

She is survived by daughter, Sharon Nelson; daughter-in-law, Sue Larsen, special son, Lonny Larsen; grandsons, William, Steven, James and Michael Nelson, Dan and Eric Larsen; granddaughter, Sheryl Kraft; 12 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Elaine Jacobson; sisters, Wilda, Norma and Shirley, Marlys; and many nieces and nephews.

Diana Roske

Services for Diana Roske, 53, of Champlin were Thursday, May 6, 2004, at 11 a.m. at he Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Roske died at her home in Champlin after a long battle with cancer with her family at her side Friday, April 30. She was born March 2, 1951, to Doris (Sam) and Mike Nickaboine in Clouquet. She was a member of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe and lived in the Isle are as a child. She later moved to St. Cloud and attended St. Cloud Technical High School. After graduation, she worked at Holes Webway in St. Cloud. During this time she met Al Roske and they were married on Feb. 6, 1970. They moved to New Hope and later to Champlin where they made their home.

Mrs. Roske was employed at Circuit Science and later Dayton Elementary School as a child nutritionist, then went to work at Thiele Technology, Inc. as a stock clerk.

Mrs. Roske enjoyed many sports such as bowling, softball, kittenball and wallyball. She loved the outdoors and being in her backyard gardens. During the last year she very much enjoyed going out on the pontoon and being at the lake. She enjoyed the warm months and just soaked them in. Diana very much enjoyed visiting with friends and laughing. Being soft spoken, she liked to quietly instigate practical jokes and funning around. She had the most magnetic personality, always able to draw people in. Always seeing the good in everyone and never seeing their faults. She will be greatly missed by her family and many, many friends, especially her close friends Alden and Mary Yungner.

Mrs. Roske is survived by her husband, Al; daughters, Wendy of Boise, Idaho, Christine (Brady) Johnson of Anoka, and Jessica (Mike) Anderson of Coon Rapids. Father and mother, Lee and Doris Lembke of Isle; sisters, Doreen (El) Knutson of Fridley, Sherry (Kevin) Nielson of Prior Lake, and Carol (Mike) Turner of Naytahwaush; brother, Alrick (Melanie) Wadena Jr., of Mahnomen; and eight nephews and five nieces.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; brothers, James (Ed) and Timothy; sister, Frances; niece, Kelli; and nephew Justin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.

Robert White

Services for Robert White, 76, of Franktown, Colo. were Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Castle Rock, Colo.

Reverend Bill Vollmer officiated. Interment was at Franktown Cemetery with Honors by the United States Navy.

Mr. White died Thursday, April 22, 2004, in Castle Rock, Colo. He was born October 10, 1927, in Minneapolis. He was the son of Daniel and Mildred (Davidson) White. He was on of seven children.

He was a graduate of Patrick Henry High School in Minneapolis. Mr. White served his country during World War II in the United States Navy.

Mr. White married Marilyn Ione Tessman on January 3, 1959, in Osseo. The family moved from Minnesota to the Colorado area in 1969.

He was a retired telephone lineman and repairman for Northwestern Bell Company, and was also a retired electrician for Fitzsimmons Army Medical Center.

Mr. White loved to travel and was a very active member in his church, St. Francis of Assisi Church.

He is survived by son, Tom White of Franktown, Colo.; two step-sons, Bill (Mary) Leadens of Minneapolis, and Greg (Cecilia) Leadens of Franktown, Colo.; daughter-in-law, Karen Leadens of Franktown, Colo.; sister-in-law, Beverly (Rich) Ratliff of Wetmore, Colo.; five grandchildren, Jarrett, Lynn, Tim, Christine, and Joe Leadens; five great-grandchildren, Morgan, Rhett, Justin, Wyatt Terry Leadens and Sophia DeLarosa; two sisters, Florence Kraus of Eden Prairie, and Pat (Edwin) Kirk of Tucson, Ariz.; four brothers, James White of Friendswood, Texas, Ken (Alice) White of McGregor, Thomas (Jean) White of McGregor, and Jack (Mickey) White of Princeton; also by numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. White was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn on January 25, 2001; son, Terry Craig Leadens in 1988, and grandson, Aaron William Leadens in 1999.

Memorial to the National Autistic Children's Society.

Wayne Christensen

Services for Wayne Christensen, 67, of Champlin, were Thursday, April1, 2004, at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home in Anoka.

Mr. Christensen died March 29, 2004, at Mercy Hospital after a long illness. He was born November 10, 1936, in Minneapolis to Theodore and Mabel Christensen. He was employed at Honeywell Avionics for 45 years.

Survived by his loving wife, Lu; son David (Tamera) Christensen, daughter Kathy (Peter) Servaty, stepson Jim (Deb) Lais, stepdaughter Julie Lawler; grandchildren Calvin and Rachel Christensen, Laura, Lisa and Jason Servaty, Clifton Taylor, Skyler and Trinity Lais; and many friends. Preceded in death by his parents.

Interment at Champlin Cemetery.

Dana Hahn

Services for Dana Hahn, 34, of Champlin, were Thursday, April 8, at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, in Anoka. He died at his home April 4.

Mr. Hahn was born in Golden Valley, MN, on April 20, 1969 to Raymond and Donna Hahn.

He is survived by his daughter, Gabrielle, parents, Ray and Donna Hahn, of Champlin; brother, Jason Hahn, of Anoka, sister, LeAnne (Jeff) Howell, of Big Lake; nephews, Jake and Matt Howell.

Interment Champlin Cemetery, Champlin.

Mary L. Hemming

Services for Mary L. Hemming, 59, of Corcoran were Saturday, April 3, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Word of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers.

Rev. Rick Skare officiated. Michael Sahlen, Irma Chamberlain and Karen Horton performed special music.

Mrs. Hemming died early Tuesday morning, March 30, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park. She was born Sept. 7, 1944, in Grafton, N.D., the daughter of Thomas and Adelaide "Leulla" Strommen Flom.

On Nov. 21, 1964, Mary Flom and Donald Hemming were joined in holy marriage in Thief River Falls. God blessed their marriage with a daughter, Kaia.

Mrs. Hemming is survived by husband, Donald; daughter, Kaia Shadow; her mother, Luella Flom; brother, Loren (Jill) Flom; sisters, Rita (Robert) Dincau and Jan (Ross) Hanson; sister-in-law, Luella Paulsrud; and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Flom.

Lucille M. Priem

Services for Lucille M. Priem, 84, of St. Michael were Wednesday April 7, 2004, at 1 p.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael.

Rev. Michael Becker officiated.

Interment with military honors was at Epiphany Cemetery in Coon Rapids.

Andrew Johnson, Michael Johnson, Jim Hannay, Dennis Guiney, Gena Johnson and Erin Guiney served as casket bearers.

Mrs. Priem died Thursday evening at Park View Care Center in Buffalo. She was born Nov. 10, 1919, at St. Mary's Hospital in Minneapolis the daughter of Jerome and Mary Carrier Guiney.

In May 1973 Lucille Guiney and Raymond Priem were joined in holy marriage.

She honorably served her country during WWII as a Navy Wave.

She is survived by a brother, John (Shirley Johnson) Guiney of St. Michael; nephews, Dennis (Sally) Guiney, Terry (Kathy) Guiney, and Michael (Lisa) Johnson; a niece, Linda (Jim) Johnson Hannay; and relatives and friends.

Thiele

Services for E. C. "Tip" Thiele, 79, of Champlin, formerly of Minneapolis, were Tuesday, March 30, 2004 at the Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel.

Survived by his wife, Jackie; children, Terry (Dorla), Lynette (Mike) Nickelson, and David (Renee); grandchildren Brian, Matthew (Jamie), Marty, Natalie (Jared) Severson, Alison (Tony) Gabriel, Marchelle (Jeremy) Lyons, Charles (Mara); great-grandchildren, Alex, Aaron, and Zachary; sister, Thelma Hill; and brother, Verlyn (Deevee).

Mr. Thiele was a member of the Arcana Masonic Blue Lodge #187, York Rite, Mpls. Scottish Rite, Zuhrah Shrine Temple, Past Captain Zuhrah Patrol, Circus Chairman Emeritus, Director General SCANA. Past Director Royal Order of Jesters Court #53, OAMC, Golden Elephants, and recipient of WCCO Radio Good Neighbor Award. Interment Fort Snelling Cemetery. Memorials to Shriners Children's Hospital.

Elisabeth Krueger

A memorial service for Elisabeth Washburn Krueger, 77, of Maple Grove will be Saturday, April 17, 2004, at St. David's Episcopal Church, 13000 St. David's Rd. in Minnetonka.

Mrs. Krueger died Saturday, March 27, 2004.

Louise A. Richardson

Services for Louise A. Richardson, 91, of Osseo will be Saturday, April 3, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Osseo United Methodist Church, 16, Second Ave. S.E. in Osseo.

A private family interment will be at Niggler Cemetery in Osseo.

Mrs. Richardson died Wednesday, March 3, 2004, in Robbinsdale at the Crystal Lake Good Samaritan. She was born July 25, 1912, in Osseo.

She is survived by her daughters, Joann (Bill) Treptau of Corcoran, Kay Siewert of St. Michael, Ardis (David) Eide of St. Michael, and Luan (Scott) Carlson of Big Lake; 15 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Richardson is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene D. (Tom) Richardson; and son-in-law, Walter "Bud" Siewert.

If so, desired memorials may be given to the Louise A. Richardson Memorial Fund.

Vincent M. Rohe

Services for Vincent M. Rohe, 85, of Maple Grove, long time resident of the Osseo area were Monday, April 5, 2004, at the Evans-Nordby Funeral Home in Osseo.

Interment was at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in Osseo.

Mr. Rohe died Wednesday, March 31, 2004, in Robbinsdale. He was born May 22, 1918 in Osseo.

He was a long time resident of the Osseo area, and was the owner of Vince Rohe and Sons Wall Hanging.

Mr. Rohe was also an U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.

He is survived by his sons, Ken (Nell) of Reno, Alan (Nadine) of Maple Grove, and Will (Kate) of New Hope; daughters, Sue (Mark) Cohen of Schaumberg, Ill. and Carrie (Dale) Schudi of New Hope; 14 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; loving friend, Klara Zimmerman of Minneapolis; brother, Jon of Brooklyn Park; and sister, Mary Spaulding of Brooklyn Park.

Mr. Rohe is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth; and son, Fred.

If so desired memorials may be given to the Vincent Rohe Memorial Fund.

Irene L. Temple

Services for Irene L. Temple, 88, of St. Therese Care Center, formerly of Osseo were Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at Mary Queen of Peace at St. Walburga's Catholic Church Fletcher in Rogers.

Interment was at St. Walburga's Cemetery.

Ms. Temple died Sunday, March 28, 2004, in New Hope. She was born Jan. 8, 1916 in Rogers.

She is survived by her sister, Margaret Temple; cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Ms. Temple is preceded in death by her parents, John and Josephine; and sister, Clara.
