Florence Anderson
Services for Florence Anderson, 73, of Champlin, were Monday, March 22, 2004, at the Washburn McGreavy Robbinsdale Chapel.
Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard; son, Steven (Karen) Anderson; grandsons, Christopher and Mark; cousins, niece and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, Paul and Florence Bodtke; and sister, Phyllis Anderson.
Vera Braucht
Services for Vera Blanch Braucht, 94, of Champlin, were Friday, March 26, 2004, at Zion Lutheran Church in Anoka.
Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Braucht died at her residence in Champlin March 22, 2004. She was born Nov. 18, 1909, in Oregon, Ill., to Harry Sylvester and Anna Blanche (nee Brugh) Champlain.
She was a stay-at-home mother to her children and foster mother to many children. She was a member of the Champlin Library Association, Champlin Women's Club and the Champlin Sewing Club.
Mrs. Braucht is survived by children, Phyllis Closson, Donald (Mary) Braucht, Doris (Laurence) Schubert and Marlene (Douglas) Nelson; sister, Ruth Hoernecke of Illinois; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband, LeRoy; daughters, Karin Sutherland and Joan Fields; and brothers, Harold and Lewis Champlain.
Patricia Burtness
Services for Patricia Jayne Burtness (Carpenter), 70, of Champlin, were Monday, March 22, at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church in Mounds View.
Mrs. Burtness is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Robert; daughters, Linda (Scott) Lang and Lori (Brian) Pietro; son, Scott (Laura) Burtness; grandchildren, Troy and Ryan Lang, Christina and Derek Pietro and Eric and Adam Burtness; brother, Gary (Sherry) Carpenter; also aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and many friends.
Ms. Burtness is remembered for her love of music. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
Lorraine Gelle
Services for Lorraine Gelle (Munkelwitz), 75 of Elk River, Minn., were Saturday, April 3, 2004, at the Lord of Glory Lutheran Church, Elk River.
The family would like all memorials to be given to Allina Hospice and Palliative Care.
She left her family and friends March 21 and went home to be with Jesus after her courageous battle with cancer. She was born Jan. 10, 1929, to Friedrich and Roma Koch Munkelwitz at Isle, Minn.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon; and her brother, Vernon Munkelwitz.
She is survived by her seven children, Robert of Sandstone, Gerald of Stanchfield, Bill of St. Francis, Marie of Minneapolis, Steven of Zimmerman, Eileen Adams of Crystal and David of Elk River; 18 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Marlene Munkelwitz of Clear Lake, Wis. and Erna Harff of New Hope, nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
She retired from Federal Cartridge after 29 years and Country Couzins Restaurant. A special thanks to the wonderful nurses from Hospice, Sandy Clausen, Shelley Carlson, Bev Hood, Deb, and all who gave Mrs. Gelle their special care.
Lois Kottke
Services for Lois M. Kottke, 79, of Hanover, were Monday, March 22, 2004, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover.
Rev. Paul R. Settergren officiated and interment followed at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
Colleen Johnson was the organist for the funeral service.
Casket bearers were Stephen, Paul and David Curry and Brian, Dave and Travis Kottke.
Mrs. Kottke died Friday, March 19, at The Wellstead of Rogers.
She was born Nov. 16, 1924, in St. Michael, the daughter of Anthony "Tony" and Florence Johnson Curry.
She was baptized July 28, 1940. She was also instructed in the Lutheran Catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith on July 11, 1948.
She graduated from Elk River High School and later attended Hutchinson Normal School. She eventually taught country school in the Hamel/Wayzata areas.
On June 7, 1947, Lois M. Curry and Leonard H. Kottke were united in marriage at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover. Mr. and Mrs. Kottke engaged in dairy farming for many years.
She also worked at the Carlson Companies for 28 years.
She was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hanover. Through the years, she belonged to many organizations including Hanover Senior Citizens and The "Lois" Club.
Survived by brothers, Jim (Barbara) Curry of Edina and Jack (Lillian) Curry of Maple Grove; many other Curry and Kottke relatives further survive.
Preceded in death by husband, Leonard H. Kottke, June 15, 1993; Parents, Anthony "Tony" and Florence Curry and brother, Richard Curry.
Ellen Lehto
Services for Ellen R. Lehto (nee Jefson), 60, of Rogers, were Monday, March 22, 2004, at Word of Peace Lutheran Church, Rogers.
Interment was at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
Mrs. Lehto died peacefully surrounded by her family at Methodist Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa, March 17.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; and father, Lyle.
She is survived by her sons, Jonathan and Daniel; mother, Velma Jefson; seven sisters and six brothers.
She is also survived by six sisters-in-law, eight brothers-in-law, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was a retired second grade teacher at Wilson Elementary School, Anoka. She was a beloved mom, sister, aunt and friend. Her vibrant personality and generous spirit will be greatly missed by all.
Cameron Nix
Services for Cameron Mark "Cam" Nix, 41, of Hanover were Wednesday, March 24, 2004, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael.
Rev. Leonard Siebenaler was the Celebrant and interment followed at The Hanover Village Cemetery.
Mr. Nix died Monday, March 22, at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.
He was born in Minneapolis Aug. 8, 1962, the son of Robert L. and Jean L. Cheever Nix.
He worked for many years as a Technical Specialist at Quality Assured Label.
Mr. Nix was known for his dry sense of humor and for always having a bit of grease under his fingernails. He will be missed dearly by many friends and family members.
He is survived by a son, Joshua (Sara); and granddaughter, Lillian Jade; a son, Jeremy; all of Hanover; a sister, Kersten (Tim) Thellin; and nephews, Derek and Jackson, all of Savage; a brother, Jason (Kim) of Keystone, Colo.; parents, Jean and Bob Nix of Winona; aunts, uncles, cousins and the mother of his sons, Lana.
Louise A. Richardson
Services for Louise A. Richardson, 91, of Osseo will be Saturday, April 3, 2004, at 11 a.m. at Osseo United Methodist Church, 16, Second Ave. S.E. in Osseo.
A private family interment will be at Niggler Cemetery in Osseo.
Mrs. Richardson died Wednesday, March 3, 2004, in Robbinsdale at the Crystal Lake Good Samaritan. She was born July 25, 1912, in Osseo.
She is survived by her daughters, Joann (Bill) Treptau of Corcoran, Kay Siewert of St. Michael, Ardis (David) Eide of St. Michael, and Luan (Scott) Carlson of Big Lake; 15 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Richardson is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene D. (Tom) Richardson; and son-in-law, Walter "Bud" Siewert.

Timothy G. Allen
An open house and memorial service for Timothy Gary Allen "Little Tim," 44, of Osseo were Saturday, March 20, 2004, at the North Suburban Alano Society in Maple Grove.
Mr. Allen died Thursday, March 11, 2004, in Champlin. He was born Feb. 20, 1960, in Hudson, Wis.
He is survived by his parents, Gary and Kitty Allen; siblings, Ted Allen, Troy Allen, and Tanya Fisher; grandmother, Evelyn Allen; and other relatives and friends.
Flower delivers are accepted at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 Second St. N.E. in Osseo.
James Bebeau
Services for James Eugene Bebeau, 76, of Albertville and formerly of Dayton were Saturday, March 13, 2004, at 10 a.m. at The Catholic Church of St. Albert in Albertville.
Rev. Peter Richards was the celebrant and interment with military rites followed at St. Albert's Cemetery.
Casket Bearers were Tom Bebeau, Randy Bebeau, Joe Bebeau, Cyril Lehn, Jim Lehn and Eugene Lehn.
Mr. Bebeau died Saturday, March 6, 2004, at the Buffalo Hospital. He was born Feb. 18, 1928, in Anoka the son of Fred and Anna Bauer Bebeau.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.
On May 26, 1951, James Bebeau and Dorothy Lehn were joined in holy marriage at the Church of St. Walburga in Fletcher. God blessed their marriage with a daughter and a son.
Mr. and Mrs. Bebeau engaged in dairy farming on French Lake in Dayton from 1952 until 1994. He also formerly was employed at Heinen's in Rogers and at the Albertville Feed Mill.
He was a former member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Anoka.
He is survived by a daughter, Judy (John) Schroeder of Columbia Heights; a son, Allen J. Bebeau of Albertville; a brother, Ralph (Caroline) Bebeau of Lake Emily; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Eileen Bebeau of Anoka, Norman Lehn of Rogers, Cyril (Jean) Lehn of Dayton, James (Mary Lou) Lehn of Elk River, Eugene (Clara) Lehn of Ramsey, Annella Miller of Little Falls and Laurencie Bebeau of Rogers; his cats, Squeaky and Gabby; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy H. Bebeau March 17, 1999; parents, Fred and Anna Bebeau; and by brothers, Donald and Clarence Bebeau.
Robert V. Boals
Services for Robert V. Boals, 80, of Maple Grove were Thursday, March 18, 2004, at Advent Lutheran Church in Maple Grove.
Interment was at Glen Haven Cemetery in Crystal.
Mr. Boals died Sunday, March 14, 2004, in Robbinsdale. He was born Feb. 27, 1924, in Des Moines, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son, Robert W. (Colleen) of Minneapolis; daughters, Barbara (Bill) Shegstad of Minneapolis, Diane Benson of St. Francis, Debra Desposato of Eagle, Colo.; step-children, Richard Freeman of Mora, Donna Menken of Maple Grove, Cindy (Tom) Klemenhagen of Alexandria; step-mother, Ann Boals of Appleton; brothers, Jerald (Cindy) of Apple Valley and Richard of Richfield; sisters, Victoria Erickson of Hutchinson and Roberta (Roger) Platow of Appleton; sister-in-law, Dorothy Boals of Graceville; 24 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Boals is preceded in death by his parents, Victor and Edith; and brother, Charles.
