Robert J. Wishy
Services for Robert J. Wishy, 68, of Robbinsdale will be Friday, June 24, 2005, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Interment was at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
Mr. Wishy died Friday, June 17, 2005, in Minneapolis. He was born Jan. 29, 1937, in Rogers.
His professional life consisted of many Twin Cities restaurants, starting as a dishwasher at the Curtis Hotel in 1955, becoming the day chef at the Hopkins House, head chef at Rolling Green Country Club until 1984 when he started his own restaurant, Marie B's Filing Station in St. Louis Park until 2000.
During these years he made many lifetime friends with co-workers, employees and employers.
He is survived by his brothers James (Marlys) of Maple Grove, George (Marilyn) of Maple Grove and Thomas McBride of Rochester; sister, Patty (Tom) Clayton of Isle; special friend, Jim Hughes of Robbinsdale; and was special uncle to nieces and nephews.
Mr. Wishy is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Marie Wishy.

Lucille Kolles
Services for Lucille A. Kolles, 85, of Albertville were Friday, June 24, 2005, at St. Albert Catholic Church in Albertville.
Rev. Peter Richards officiated at the Mass. Special music was by the family.
Interment was at St. Albert's Catholic Cemetery. Casket bearers were Randy Kolles, Mike Jeziorski, Matthew Aiken, Ben Kolles, Jeffrey Kolles and Karl Sherman.
Mrs. Kolles died June 21 at her home.
She was born June 5, 1920, at Albertville, daughter of Alphonse and Veronica Dehmer Heuring.
She was united in marriage to Lawrence W. Kolles May 17, 1941, at the Church of St. Albert in Albertville. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and the Catholic Aid Society. She enjoyed playing cards, flower gardening and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. Kolles is survived by her children Joann (Raymond) Jeziorski of Spring Lake Park, Wayne (Mary Lou) Kolles of Albertville, Mary (Laun) Aiken of Maple Lake, Larry (Darlene) Kolles of Monticello, Steve (Diane) Kolles of Albertville and Karla (David) Sherman of Anaheim, Calif.; 28 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leander (Monica) Heuring of Albertville and Owen (Darlene) Heuring of Willmar; sisters-in-law, Florence Heuring of St. Michael and Eileen Heuring of Albertville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence, on June 6, 1996; daughter, Yvonne Illies; son, Keith Kolles; brothers, Norman Heuring and Guido Heuring; and sister, Marie Kemmetmueller.
Marguerite French
Marguerite A. Langevin French, died Friday, June 17, 2005, at Hillcrest Health Care in Rush City.
She was born May 23, 1920. in East Weymouth, Mass., where she graduated with honors from high school. She then worked as a telephone operator. She grew up in that area where she met and married her sole mate and love, Richard. The two of them traveled around making many friends while they worked together in the food industry until they settled in Rush City.
She was preceded in death by parents, Elisabeth and Alfred; brother, Fred and her sister, Irene.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Richard (Frenchie); son, Lester French; daughter, Patricia Wadhams; grandchildren, David Currier, Sean and Shellie French, and Jennifer and Christopher Wadhams; great grandchildren, Jewel Currier and Slater Bostrom of Minnesota; nephews, Michael Thompson of Florida, Patrick Thompson and wife Sue of Pennsylvania, as well as their children.
Family memorial services will be held later.
Mark Stevens
Services for Mark James Stevens, 52 of Otsego, Minn., were Wednesday, June 22, 2005, at Word of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers with Rev. Rick Skare and Rev. Ron Prasek officiating.
Private interment was in St. Francis Cemetery in Buffalo.
Mr. Stevens died Sunday, June 19, at his home.
The organist and soloist was Michael Sahlen. Special musical selections were "On Eagle's Wings" and "Borning Cry" as solos and "Amazing Grace" as a congregational hymn.
Casket bearers were Andrew Stevens, Ryan Tevik, Josh Krone, Justin Krone, Corey Scheevel, Grant Cummings, Kyle Cummings and Jim Chiounard.
Mr. Stevens was born May 21, 1953, in Green Bay, Wis., the son of Francis and Bernice (Kutchenriter) Stevens. He grew up in Green Bay and graduated from Premontre High School, Class of 1972.
He was employed in the sheet metal industry in Green Bay before moving to Minnesota in 1980. He attended trade school in Minneapolis. He worked for over 30 years in the sheet metal industry. For the past seven years, he was employed at Albers Mechanical in St. Paul.
He was united in marriage to Patricia Tevik June 23, 1984. The couple made their home in Maple Grove. They later moved to Rogers and then Otsego where they currently reside. He was a member of Local #10 and Word of Peace Lutheran Church in Rogers.
Mr. Stevens loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He had a wonderful sense of humor that will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia, of Otsego; sons, Tyler Stevens of Victoria and Andrew Stevens at home; daughter, Brittany Stevens at home; brother, Jerry (Paula) Stevens of Athens, Ga.; sisters, Katie (Bill) Schultz of Waverly, N.Y., and Mary (Gary) Cummings of Green Bay, Wis., and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family would like to thank Dr. Steven Duane for his compassion and care for Mark throughout his illness.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
Lorna Grant
Services for Lorna Morin Grant, 86, of Elk River were Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Elk River.
Vicar Rick Hensel officiated. Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery in Anoka.
Lou Sturm was the organist and special music for the funeral service was provided by Jeremy, Lloyd and Diane Morin.
Casket bearers were Brent Lange, Jon Morin, Sarah Morin, Kelly Pestello, Jesse DeMars and Matthew Davis.
Mrs. Grant died Thursday, June 16, at The Monticello-Big Lake Community Nursing Home.
She was born Dec. 15, 1918, in Foley the daughter of William A. and Louise Rolf Schmidt.
She was baptized at Foley Jan. 1, 1919. She was also instructed in the Lutheran Catechism and confirmed in the Christian faith April 9, 1933, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Young America.
On April 29, 1944, Lorna Schmidt was joined in holy marriage to Clifford Morin at Trinity Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. God blessed their marriage with seven children. Lorna and Clifford engaged in dairy farming in Corcoran for several years.
Clifford Morin preceded his wife in death Feb. 4, 1972.
On Dec. 5, 1975, Lorna Morin was joined in holy marriage to Lewis Grant at Mount Olive Lutheran Church in Anoka. Mr. Grant preceded his wife in death Feb. 8, 1994.
She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Elk River and belonged to The LWML.
She was a member of V.F.W. Post #5518's Auxiliary in Elk River/Rogers and also belonged to the Ex-POW group.
She and Mr. Grant loved to travel.
Mrs. Grant is survived by seven children, Kathleen (Patrick) Bauer, Lloyd (Diane) Morin, Eugene (Patricia) Morin, Sharon (Donald) Kasper, Donna (Darryl) Goskey, Mary (Pete) Davis and Marjorie Zacharda; 22 grandchildren, Michael (Kelly) Lange, Brent (Stephanie) Lange, Bridget (Tye) Idowu, Melody Galarneau, Lara (Jimmy) Talle, James (Kim) Morin, Jon (Patty) Morin, Jeremy (Michele) Morin, Angel Gagne, Sarah Morin, Dawn (Steve) Hickman, Kelly (Tony) Pestello, Shane (Amanda) Kasper, Chaun DeMars, Jesse (Becky) DeMars, Mary (John) Schulke, Amy (Lance) Soderholm, Duane (Sara) Davis, Cheryl Davis, Matthew Davis, Peter Davis & William (Nycke) Zacharda; 34 great-grandchildren; sisters and a brother, Bernice (Harold) Otte, Martha Possehl, Erna (Norman) Schulz, Roland (Jean) Schmidt and Dorothy (Larry) Wolfgram; a sister-in-law, Rosa Schmidt; many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Grant was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Hugo Schmidt; a brother-in-law, Edward Possehl; and by two great-grandchildren.
Edwin C. Malwitz
Services for Edwin C. Malwitz, 88, of Osseo were Friday, June 24, 2005, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Maple Grove.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Mr. Malwitz died Tuesday, June 21, 2005, in Osseo. He was born Feb. 18, 1917, in Howard, S.D.
He is survived by his sons, Michael (Judy) of Orlando Park, Ill., and Robert of Annandale; daughters, Nina (Jon) Theis of St. Michael, Gail (Paul) Kupferschmidt of Columbus Township, and Lynn (Roosevelt) Jones of Minneapolis; brothers, Wilbur, Len and Arlo; sisters, Clarice Abraham and Viola Paulson; and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr. Malwitz is preceded in death by his wife, Arlene.

Norma M. Lewis

Norma Lewis 82 year old resident of Montrose, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Waconia, MN.
Memorial service is 11:00am Saturday, 03/05/05, at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo with Rev. Highland Goodman officiating.
Visitation is 1 hr prior to the service.
Norma Mae Soderholm was born on January 31, 1923 in Columbia Heights, MN to the late Joel & Rose (Maser) Soderholm.
She lived in various towns throughout her life, spending most of that time in Medicine Lake.
She graduated from high school in Minneapolis.
She was a devoted housewife and mother all her life.
After he children left home, Norma worked at various jobs outside the home.
She enjoyed crafts, was involved with senior clubs and Christian women’s clubs.
She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Jim Lewis of Sierra Vista, AZ, Patricia Leith of Houston, TX, Shirley Poore of Columbia Heights, Carrie Bren of Brooklyn Center, Richard Lewis of Montrose, Gene (Debra) Lewis of Le Center & Mark Lewis of Buffalo; siblings, Joyce Lewis of Coon Rapids, John (Evelyn) Soderholm of Tennessee & Charles (Shirley) Soderholm of Grand Marais; 18 Grandchildren and 22 Great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents and siblings, William Soderholm, Bernice Kubie and Ellora Strumke.
