Kathryn Bauck

Funeral services for Kathryn Jeane Bauck, 88, Anoka, took place Aug. 27, 2002 at Gearhart Funeral Chapel, Anoka.

Bauck died Aug. 24, 2002 in Anoka. She was born Nov. 18, 1913 in Minneapolis to Robert Bauch and Stella Brueshaber. She was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by her sisters, Verna Bauck, Doris Olson and Virginia Halveieces; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Interment was private at Sunset Memorial Park, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Chapel.

Leo Braun

Funeral services for Leo F. Braun, 75, Ramsey, took place Aug. 31, 2002 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Bill DeZiel officiated.

Braun died at his home Aug. 27, 2002. He was born Sept. 22, 1926 in Breckenridge to Leo Carl Braun and Alice Marie Burington. He was retired head draftsman at FMC.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnn; children, David (Bettie) Braun, Dianne (Dwayne) Vanstrom, Mark Braun, Teresa Braun, Kristin (Donny) Sonneman; stepchildren, Craig Nordstrom, Vicki (Ronald) Stone, Catherine (Lonnie) Laurie; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters; one brother-in-law; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona; and son, Martin (Skeeter) Braun.

Interment was at Calvary cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Chapel.

Henry Franklin

Funeral services for Henry L. Franklin, 79, Blaine, took place Sept. 3, 2002 at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel. Rev. George Kolath officiated.

Franklin died Aug. 29, 2002. He was born May 30, 1923 in Racine, Wis. He was a World War II veteran and worked for the railroad for more than 30 years as a mechanic.

He is survived by his children, Cathy, Jerry, Michael, Douglas, Margaret and Elizabeth; six grandchildren; brothers, Lawrence and Dwayne; sister, Patricia; and a niece, many nephews and cousins.

Interment was at Sunset Memorial Park, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel.

Adeline Gerads

Funeral services for Adeline B. Gerads, 57, Coon Rapids, took place Aug. 30, 2002 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids. Rev. Patrick Kennedy officiated.

Gerads died Aug. 27, 2002 in Coon Rapids. She was born Dec. 21, 1944 in Little Falls and was secretary at Olive Branch Lutheran Church for 25 years.

She is survived by her husband, Earl; daughters, Pamela Marquart (Mike), Brenda Cich (Bob); granddaughters, Amanda and Ashley; six sisters; and one brother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Dorothy Czech; and one sister.

Interment was at Epiphany cemetery, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Terry Johnson

Funeral services for Terry Beth Johnson, 45, Spring Lake Park, took place Aug. 30, 2002 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Fridley. Revs. David N. Glesne and John M. Niewald officiated.

Johnson died Aug. 27, 2002 at North Memorial Medical Center. She was born Aug. 31, 1956 in Minneapolis to John M. Gerlach and Marilyn R. Nelson. She as office manager at Sentinel Chemical Co., Fridley, since 1989.

She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; daughters, Lisa Cavanaugh (Matt) of Crystal and Kimberly DeShaw (Jason) of Minneapolis; parents, John and Marilyn Gerlach of Upsala; sisters, Rose Lundequam (Paul) of Fridley and Susan Swanson (Dan) of Aurora, Ill; brother, John D. Gerlach of St. Louis Park; grandmother, Rose Johnson of Upsala; many uncles and aunts, nieces and nephews; and co-workers and friends.

Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Doris Bebeau

Funeral services for Doris J. Bebeau, 81, Cedar, took place Sept. 5, 2002 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Dale W. Ehrman officiated.

Bebeau died Sept. 2, 2002 at her home. She was born Feb. 24, 1921 in Minneapolis to Irving F. Gustafson and Helen M. Haven. She was a retired supervisor at Unisys Corp.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond; children, Jerry (Bev), Bonnie (Jeff) Larkin, and Darrell (Gail); eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sisters, Vi Christiansen and Margie Peterson.

Pallbearers were Randy Bebeau, Wayne Hatlestad, Mark Fuhrmann, Rick Lindman, Tom Peterson and Tony Kvale.

Interment was at Calvary cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Loren Hannan Sr.

Funeral services for Loren Hannan Sr., 71, Melrose, Wis., took place Sept. 12, 2002 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel, Anoka. Rev. Kenneth Rice officiated.

Hannan died Sept. 7, 2002 at his residence. He was born March 3, 1931 in Denver, Colo., to Thomas F. and Gladys E. (Johnston) Hannan. He retired from the Army National Guard after 23 years of service and was a realtor and developer.

He is survived by his wife, Joy; children, Dolores (Richard) Doers of Warrens, Wis., Loren Jr. of Niles, Mich., Patricia Blanchard of Nora Springs, Iowa, Vicki (Duane) Weldon of Black River Falls, Wis., Michael of Eau Claire, Wis., Daniel (Karen) of Madison, Wis.; grandchildren, Erin Brandon, Kelly Kelzenberg, Danielle and Adam Blanchard, Tifanie and Cory Weldon; brother, Keith (Peggy) of Beaufort, S.C.; sisters, Shirley (Pete) Hesse of Marshalltown, Iowa, Jean Hannan of Knoxville, Tenn.; and other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Gladys; and nephew, Craig Hesse.

Pallbearers were Loren Jr., Michael and Daniel Hannan, Paul Pierce Jr., John Becker and Gary Lien.

Interment was at Pierce cemetery, Oak Grove. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Helen Heckenlaible

Funeral services for Helen Elizabeth Heckenlaible, 86, East Bethel, took place Sept. 10, 2002 at Trinity Lutheran Church, St. Francis. Revs. Jack and David Baumgarn officiated.

Heckenlaible died Sept. 6, 2002 at Cambridge Medical Center. She was born May 8, 1916 in Duluth to Herbert and Nellie (Larrson) Peterson.

She is survived by her sons, Clinton and wife Marlene of Anoka; Jim and wife Marlys of East Bethel, Dean and wife Cheryl of East Bethel; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edmund; and brothers, Alvar and Harold Peterson.

Interment was at Cambridge Union cemetery. Arrangements were by the Carlson-Labatte Funeral Home, Cambridge.

Kathleen Kastan

Funeral services for Kathleen (Tina) A. Kastan, 74, Coon Rapids, took place Sept. 10, 2002 at Gearhart Funeral Chapel, Anoka.

Kastan died Sept. 7, 2002 in Brooklyn Center. She was born Sept. 10, 1927 in Minneapolis to John McNamee and Rose Eichsberger. She was a retired banking supervisor.

She is survived by her sons, Jerry and Tom (Patty); stepchildren, Debbie and David; grandchildren, Jodie, Brian, Jennifer, Kevin, Kyle and Korey; sisters, Patty and Joanne; brother, Jack; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard.

Pallbearers were Kevin, Kyle, Korey and Brian Theis, Tom Thompson and David Kastan.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National cemetery. Arrangements were by Gearhart.

Diana Kettler

Funeral services for Diana Marie Kettler, nee Juell, 43, Forest Lake, took place Sept. 4, 2002 at Family of Christ Lutheran Church, Andover. Rev. Dennis Perryman officiated.

Kettler died at her home in Forest Lake Aug. 30, 2002. She was born Jan. 3, 1959 in Bangor, Maine, to LeRoy and Joanne E. (Wilson) Juell.

She is survived by her sons, Chris Herzog of Ham Lake, Jeff Herzog of Anoka; grandchildren, Kyle Herzog and Hunter Herzog; sisters, Kelly McDonald of Coon Rapids, Wendy Njos of Anoka; brothers, Dwight (Sandy) Juell of Coon Rapids, Randy (Leisa) Juell of Maple Grove, Matt (Mandy) Njos of Anoka; six nephews; three nieces; uncles, aunts and cousins; and relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy Juell and Joanne Njos; and grandfather, Haldor Ronholm.

Pallbearers were Chris and Jeff Herzog, Dwight and Randy Juell, Matthew Njos and Clint Bunting.

Interment was at West Oak Grove cemetery, Oak Grove. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Muriel Klass

Funeral services for L. Muriel Klass, 87, Anoka, will take place tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002) at First Congregational Church of Anoka.

Klass died Sept. 7, 2002 at her home. She was born June 9, 1915 in Jacksonville, Il, to Harvey Ferguson and Rita Scheib. She was a retired school teacher.

She is survived her her son and daughter-in-law, Joel and Kristin Klass; daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and William Mittlefehldt; grandchildren, Noah (Rhonda) and Sara Mittlefehldt; and Tahirih Klass; and sister, Joanne Earle.

She will be cremated. Arrangements are by Gearhart.
