Marie Tiller
Funeral services for Marie M. Tiller, 86, Fridley, took place June 6 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Columbia Heights. Father Al Backman presided. Tiller, was born to Joseph Dischlinger and Mathilda Meinert July 20, 1915 and died June 4, 2002. She was a record clerk for the Memorial Blood Bank.
Tiller is survived by her husband of 64 years Bailey; sons- and daughters-in-law James and Dedra, John and Nimfa, Jerome and Anne; daughters- and sons-in-law Joanne and Ed Elliott, Joyce and John Leitner; grandchildren George (Kathy), Charles (Angela), James, Robert, William, Michele, Michael (Melissa), Mark (Lori), Missy, Ahnie Marie, Bailey, John Joseph, Claire, Paul Tracy (Russ), John, Timothy, David; great-grandchildren KC, Sarah, Kierann, Eddie, Lacey, Rheanna, Jeff, Jamie, Jade, Natasha, Julia, Austin, Nick and Lexie.
Interment was at the St. Anthony Catholic cemetery in Minneapolis Arrangements were by the Gerhart Funeral Chapels (Anoka and Coon Rapids).
Donald Anda
Funeral services for Donald H. Anda, 73, Coon Rapids, took place June 18 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Patrick Kennedy officiated.
Anda died in Coon Rapids on Saturday, June 15, 2002. He was born April 18, 1929 in Crookston to Otto and Rose Anda and was a drywaller.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne; children, Steve (Donald), James, Tim, Dawna (Scott) Stewart; and grandchildren, Kristina, Grant, Cory and Danielle.
He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brother; and sister, Loraine.
Pallbearers were John Hughes, Dean Freeberg, Phil Fettig, John Kroeger, Jeff Trone, Curt Brookins. Honorary pallbearers were Marv Wolf and Louis Andringa.
Interment was at Epiphany cemetery. Arrangements were by Gearhart Coon Rapids Chapel.
Ruby Bishop
Funeral services for Ruby Bishop, 77, Coon Rapids, took place June 15 at Coon Rapids Methodist Church. Rev. Mark Miller officiated.
Bishop died June 12, 2002 in Coon Rapids. She was born Jan. 2, 1925 in Badger, S.D., to Andrew and Stella Barlow, and was a retired manufacturing worker.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Jerry Swanson, Donna and Ron Sabacky, Jill and Dave Pavlenko, and Robin Bishop; grandchildren, Kim and Sean Workman, Holly Swanson and fiance Chris Parks, Denise Pavlenko, Ryan Bishop, Matthew Oberfuell, Molly Oberfuell, and Suzy Pavlenko; sister, Mary and Bud Pirlet; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gordon and Virginia Barlow, Arden and Darlene Barlow, Howard and Dorothy Barlow, Stan and Cheryl Barlow; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lyle Bishop.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Esther Hamilton
Funeral services for Esther Florence Hamilton, 93, took place June 15 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bill Steinke officiated.
Hamilton died June 11, 2002. She was born Sept. 6, 1908.
She is survived by her daughters, JoAnn (Bruce) Carlson and Sue (Ron) Specht; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, Manley, Al and Don Haug.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Berger, Walter and Marion.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
Anna Johnson
Funeral services for Anna Mae Johnson, 94, took place June 17 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard Reiser officiated.
Johnson died June 13, 2002. She was born May 10, 1908.
She is survived by her children, LeeRoy (Barbara), Therese (Jack), Jeanne (Dick), Daniel (Tyra), Jim (Nancy), Tom (Bev); 30 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Richard Gallagher (Lorraine); and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy; son, Richard; parents; three sisters; and two brothers.
Interment was at St. Joseph's Catholic cemetery, Lino Lakes. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Bonna Johnson
Funeral services for Bonna 'Bonnie' L. Johnson, 59, took place June 14 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Norman Berg officiated.
Johnson died June 12, 2002. She was born Feb. 18, 1943 to William Frank and Avis Pearson and was a secretary.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard 'Rick' children, Kim Henke, Tammy (Sheldon) Corbin-Swenson, Diana Corbin, JoLane (Ben) Wood, Reese (Ronda) Johnson; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Doug (Lucy), Brad (Nancy), Tom (Pat), David (friend Rosie), Frank; sisters, Pat (Wayne) Wallace, Sharon (Tom) Giddings, Diane (Joe) Hebert, Mary (Chuck) Camp; Viki (Tom) Plant, and Denise Weinhold; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Avis Frank; and brother, Billy.
Pallbearers were her grandchildren.

Harriet Johnson
Funeral services for Harriet Johnson, 93, Cambridge, took place June 13 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, East Bethel. Revs. Keith Pearson and Paul Reynolds officiated.
Johnson died June 10, 2002 at Grandview Christian Center. She was born Oct. 24, 1908 in Minneapolis to Jalmer and Helma Peterson.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald R. (Mary) Johnson of Isanti, Bruce A. Johnson of Little Falls; grandchildren, Michael Johnson of Minneapolis, Donald K. (Rachel) Johnson of Apple Valley, Kevin Johnson of Coon Rapids, Kalen Johnson and fiancee Sara Mathews of Isanti; five step-grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and frien-ds.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randolph.
Pallbearers were Donald, Kalen, Kevin and Michael Johnson, and Andrew and Jason Williams.
Interment was at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Crystal. Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Home-Isanti Chapel.
Frank Kohout, Jr.
Funeral services for Frank Kohout, Jr., 87, Coon Rapids, took place June 14 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bill Steinke officiated.
Kohout died June 11, 2002. He was born Sept. 1, 1914 and was a U., S. Army veteran, seeing action in World War II in the Normandy invasion.
He is survived by her daughter, Maryann (Deane) Schwalenberg; sons, Frank (Sheila), Larry, Thomas (Kathy), Rick (Kim); grandchildren, Deane (Betsy), Doug (Stef), Darrel, Denise (Joe), Michelle (George), Phillip, Matthew, Rebecca, Rachel, Michael, Melissa, Ryan, Patrick; sister, Helen Knudson; and brother, Rudy.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Aldora; daughter, Linda; and brother, Jerry.
Interment was at Forest Hill cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
Ranjit Persaud
Funeral services for Ranjit Persaud, 62, took place June 15 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Totaram Doobay officiated.
Persaud died June 12, 2002. He was born April 29, 1940 in Guyana and was a mail clerk.
He is survived by his wife Priscilla; children, Sunita (Satram), Seroj (Danny), Mohendra (Radhika), Toolsie (Kavita), Sharmilla (Dharmesh), Indi (Kheno); six grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters; mother-in-law and father-in-law; brothers- and sisters-in law; and nieces, nephews and friends.

Ralph Rachner
Memorial services for Ralph Noble Rachner, 62, took place June 19 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, East Bethel Rev. Dennis Wright officiated.
Rachner died June 16, 2002 at North Memorial Medical Center, Robbinsdale, as a result of an auto accident. He was born April 3 1940 in Fredric, Wis, . to Henry and Iola Rachner, and was a retired cement finisher.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne; son, Barry and wife Deb of Blaine; daughter, Deborah Tufts of Akeley; grandson, Clinton Tufts of Akeley; mother, Iola Rachner of Webster; sisters, Donna Carlson of Little Canada, Margel (Douglas) Johnson of River Falls, Wis., Darlene (Bob) Nelson of Minneapolis, Lois (Larry) Grandbois of Blaine; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry.
Interment was at Our Saviour's Lutheran cemetery. Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Home-Isanti Chapel.
Lilas Wallick
Funeral services for Lilas M. Wallick, 89, Big Lake, took place June 17 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Patrick Kennedy officiated.
Wallick died June 12, 2002 at Camilia Rose Convalescent Center, Coon Rapids. She was born March 29, 1913 in Dayton to Alfred Corrow and Arzalea Guimont.
She is survived by her brother, Victor Corrow of Blaine; sister, Shirley Baker of Big Lake; sister-in-law, Eva Corrow of Ham Lake; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Wallick; parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Pallbearers were Dan and Kyle Baker, Diane Corrow, and Brian, Eric and Mark Fields.
Interment was at Calvary cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
