Funeral services for Josephine Elizabeth Biskey, 58, Blaine, took place Oct. 31 at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel. Rev. Stephen Newton officiated.
Biskey died Oct. 28, 2002. She was born Sept. 1, 1944 in Warroad to Leonard Wadena and Helma Thompson and was employed in medical assembly.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; children, Stacy (Robert) Larson, Michael (Vanessa), Karin (Eric) Julien, Robert Biskey, Brian Biskey; siblings, Ethel Deegan, Lynette Lando, Louie Wadena; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Amelia Bushaw
Funeral services for Amelia M. Bushaw, 90, Alexandria, formerly of Anoka, took place Nov. 4 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Alexandria.
Bushaw died Oct. 30, 2002 in Alexandria.
Interment was at St. Mary's Catholic Church cemetery, Alexandria. Arrangements were by Petermeier's Alexandria Funeral Care and Cremation Services.
Margaret Fisher
Funeral services for Margaret A. Fisher, 81, Anoka, took place Oct. 31 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Ed Barnett officiated.
Fisher died Oct. 28, 2002 at Park River Estates Care Center, Coon Rapids. She was born in Anoka June 20, 1921 to Albert R. and Verna M. (Ricker) Fisher and was retired from Mork Hospital and Mercy Hospital.
She is survived by her brothers, James (Edith) Fisher of Champlin; sisters, Shirley (Robert) Olson of St. Paul, Rachel Quade of Chicago, Ill., Patricia (John) Goodrich of Idaho; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Luellas Lutz; and parents, Albert and Verna Fisher.
Interment was at Forest Hill cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Verna Floodman
Funeral services for Verna H. Floodman (Kish), 83, Anoka, took place Oct. 28 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Liane S. Rock officiated.
Floodman died Oct. 23, 2002 at Twin Rivers Care Center, Anoka. She was born Feb. 27, 1919 in Highmore S.D., to Frederick and Caroline (Gallner) Herrboldt and was a retired cook manager at Wilson Elementary School, a volunteer at Mercy Hospital, and a member of the Lioness club.
She is survived by her children, Ronald (Joanne) Kish of Champlin, Verna (Dale) Renslow of Andover, Beverly (Timothy) Schultze of Anoka, Gary (Cheryl) Kish of Anoka; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Raymond Herrboldt of Anoka, Julius (Tillie) Herrboldt of Elk River; sister, Laura Nemeth of Anoka; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Emil C. Kish and Lawrence Floodman; and granddaughter Angela Kish.
Pallbearers were Kevin, Scott and Thomas Kish, Jacob and Jed Schultze.
Interment was at Forest Hill cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Randi Gustin
Funeral services for Randi Lynn Gustin, 21, Andover, took place Nov. 2 at Family of Christ Lutheran Church. Rev. Dennis Perryman officiated.
Gustin died Oct. 30, 2002 at Mercy Hospital from injuries suffered in a car accident Oct. 29. She was born Sept. 19, 1981 in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Craig and Regina Gustin, and was a student at Anoka-Ramsey Community College and a personal care assistant at Choices for Children.
She is survived by her parents, Craig and Regina; sister, Stacie; grandparents, Morene Vanhorn, Arlene Lowman, Carol Thompson and Charles Vanhorn; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Sharon Hansen
Funeral services for Sharon A. 'Sherri' Hansen, 57, Coon Rapids, took place Nov. 2 at Coon Rapids Evangelical Free Church. Rev. David Oldham officiated.
Hansen died Oct. 30, 2002 at her home. She was born Sept. 22 22, 1945 in Minneapolis to Morris E. and Lorraine N. (LaVallee) Minor, and was employed as a bartender.
She is survived by her children, Dawn (Dale) Carpentier, Edd, LaMonte and Troy (Pam) Hansen, Sharon, Shannon and Shad Lemon; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandsons; brother, Howard (Mary) Minor; sister, Kathy (Bruce) Bourdeaux; special friends, Larry Lemon and Joann Born; nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Lorraine and Allen Rundle; father Morris Minor; and aunts, Norma McIntosh and Mary Trentine.
Pallbearers were Steven Bourdeaux, Jared and Jesse Carpentier, Briana Hansen, Joseph and Thomas Minor and Randel Stein.
Interment was at St. Vincent dePaul cemetery, Osseo. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Harold Kroger
Funeral services for Harold R. Kroger, 89, Andover, took place Oct. 30 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Kenneth Rice officiated.
Kroger died Oct. 28, 2002 at Mercy Hospital; He was born June 5, 1913 in Minneapolis to Harry Kroger and Ada Davis. He was self-employed in the formica fabricating industry, a member of Anoka Lodge No. 30, Scottish Rite and York Rite, and past president of Senior Shriners.
He is survived by his wife, LeOra.
Interment was at Lakewood cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
Michael Powers
Funeral services for Michael E. Powers, 83, Anoka, took place Oct. 31 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Bill Deziel officiated.
Powers died Oct. 27, 2002 at Presbyterian Homes of Roseville. He was born Dec. 31, 1918 in Dayton to Micheal Powers and Anna Kushke. He was a retired supervisor at Hoffman Engineering.
He is survived by his stepdaughter, Julie Rohling; ste-granddaughters, Susan (Roger) Ketel and Nancy Stenquist; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; nieces, Patricia Powers, Nancy O'Connor and Grace Schultz; and nephew, John Powers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; brother, William; and sister, Helen Chase.
Pallbearers were Grant, Brian, and Carrie Ketel, April Mastell, Amy Stenquist and Anthony Powers.
Interment was at Forest Hill cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Gerald Rohrbach
Funeral services for Gerald J. Rohrbach, 58, Blaine, took place Nov. 4 at Peace Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Kenneth DeFor Jr. officiated.
Rohrbach died Oct. 29, 2002 in Blaine. He was born March 6, 1944 in Edmunds County, S.D., to Helmuth and Anna Rohrbach and was a civil engineer for the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Carla Brackney and husband Terry, Cheryl and fiance Nathan; mother, Anna; brothers, Charles (Elaine) Rohrbach and Dale (Kathy) Rohrbach ; and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Helmuth.
Pallbearers were Joe Meade, Roger Olson, Terry Brackney, Nathan Shafer, and Jim and Richard Rohrbach.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Hazel Sarff
Memorial services for Hazel 'Goldie' M. Sarff, 81, Anoka, will take place tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 9), 11 a.m., at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Anoka Chapel.
Sarff died Oct. 30, 2002 at Mercy Hospital. She was born March 27, 1921 in Leslie Township to Peter H. Goldschmitz and Rose E. Williams. She was a retired lead cashier in a drug store.
She is survived by her husband, Harold; children, Pat (Don) Neuman, Bruce (Laura); grandchildren, Todd Neuman, Nancy (Chip) Kadlec, Brandon Sarff, Tyler Sarff; and great-grandchildren, Cody and Cailana Kadlec.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and one sister.
Interment will be at Fort Snelling National cemetery. Arrangements are by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home.
Raymond Spermbaur
Funeral services for Raymond Spermbaur, 54, Ham Lake, took place Nov. 4 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Oak Grove. Rev. Michael Kennedy officiated.
Spermbaur died Oct. 30, 2002 in Andover. He was born Nov. 4, 1947 in Washburn, Wis., to Joseph C. Spermbaur and Julia S. Schubert. He was a night plant superintendent at Modern Tool.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Russell (Chris) and Sarah (Troy); brothers, Richard (LeAnne), Dennis (Caroline), David (Grace), sisters, Mary Lou (Chester) Bock, Donna (Chester) Severson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment was at St. Patrick's Catholic cemetery, Oak Grove. Arrangements were by Gearhart.
