Funeral services for Ione Evelyn Lehne, 86, Blaine, took place Dec. 26 at Gearhart Anoka Chapel.
Lehne died Dec. 20, 2002 in St. Paul. She was born Sept. 9, 1916 in Rice Lake, Wis. and was a retired chef/dietician in the food industry.
She is survived by her children, Charles 'Chuck' (Patricia), Allan (Claire), Michael (Kathyrn); grandchildren, Allan, Keith (Kate), Christine, Michael J., Kari (Ryan), Michael T.; five great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille Johnson; and special friends, Edith Ische and RoJean Schueble.
Interment was at Forest Home cemetery, Rhinelander, Wis. Arrangements were by Gearhart.
Helen Quigley
Funeral services for C. Helen (Carmer) Quigley, 91, Elk River, formerly of Anoka, took place Dec. 27 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, Elk River.
Quigley died Dec. 21, 2002.
She is survived by her brother, Br. Mark of Richardton, N.D.; children, Dennis (Sandra) Quigley of Maple Grove, Larry Quigley of Becker, Allen (Robyn) Quigley of Isanti, Joan (Louis) Dehn of Dayton, Eleanor (James) Weber of Cannon Falls, Marguerite (Wayne) Long of Woodbury; 26 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen; mother, Catherine; father, David; son-in-law, Greg Beran; and daughters-in-law, Joyce Quigley and Brenda Quigley.
Interment was at Calvary cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Dare's Funeral Service, Elk River.
Glen Rogers
Funeral services for Glen P. Rogers, 79, Elk River, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place Dec. 30 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard A. Reiser officiated.
Rogers died Dec. 23, 2002 in Elk River. He was born April 9, 1923 in Crow River County and was a retired 30-year employee of the city of Coon 25-year volunteer of the Coon Rapids Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife, Marcella; children, DiAnna Smith, Darlene Smith, Darrell (Joyce) and Daniel; grandchildren, Deane, Britt, Kristie, Nathan, Michael, Katie, Jason, Hannah and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Sam, Bobby, Max, Natalie, Joseph and Alanna; and brother, Earl.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Bradley St. Germain
Funeral services for Bradley John St. Germain, 35, Champlin, took place Dec. 30 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Bill Deziel officiated.
St. Germain died Dec. 26, 2002 at Mercy Hospital. He was born April 15, 1967 in Grand Forks, N.D., to Norman St. Germain and Dolores Nowacki.
He is survived by his parents, Dolores and Norman; grandmother, Theresa Nowacki; brothers, Barett, Blaine (Amanda); sister, Becki; nephew, Langdon; niece, Madilyn; and godparents, Paul and Janet St. Germain.
Pallbearers were Baret, Blaine and Jeff St. Germain, Steve Nowacki, Roger Koch and Jason Grochowski.
Interment was at Calvary cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Anoka Chapel.
Shirley Smith
Funeral services for Shirley E. Smith, 77, Blaine, took place Dec. 23 at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel.
Smith died Dec. 20, 2002 in Blaine. She was born May 30, 1925 in Tampa, Fla., to John Alex Jones and Lillian Erickson.
She is survived by her daughters, Gloria (Wayne) Pfremmer, Wanita Milana; grandchildren, Curt, Chris and Stefanie Pfremmer, Anthony, Tiffany and Nick Milana, Sean and Kyle Pfremmer; and great-grandson, Derek Pfremmer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Glen Smith; and daughter, Dianna.
Interment was private at Fort Snelling National cemetery. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel.
Kenneth Anderson
Memorial services for Kenneth L. Anderson, 80, Anoka, will take place at a later date.
Anderson died Dec. 13, 2002 in Anoka. He was born March 17, 1922 in Sweden to Gunnar and Svea Anderson, and was a retired machinist.
He is survived by his wife, Inga; and brother, Roger (June) Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond.
Anderson was cremated. Arrangements were by Gearhart.
Irene Bouley
Funeral services for Irene M. Bouley, 95, Inver Grove Heights, took place Dec. 16 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Michael Van Sloun officiated.
Bouley died Dec. 13, 2002. She was born March 19, 1907 in Minneapolis to Ferdenard Payette and Marie Paquette and was a retired hospital worker.
She is survived by her children, Bernadette (William E.) Snyder, Loretta Morrisette, Duane, Marcel (Alice), David (Mary Ann), Dorothy (Leroy) Flor, Mary Louise (John) McNeil, Thomas (Carol), Donald (Donna) Douglas, and Rita Ann (Leslie) Peterson; daughter-in-law, Phyllis and son-in-law Jim Brown; brothers, Lawrence (Edith) and Thomas; sister, Audrey (Del) Breun; sister-in-law, Irene Payette; 67 grandchildren; 116 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonse; son, Gene; and daughter, Yvonne.
Interment was at Calvary cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Gearhart.
Douglas Boyer
Funeral services for Douglas James Boyer, 62, Andover, took place Jan. 7 at Glen Cary Lutheran Church, Ham Lake.
Boyer died Jan. 3, 2003 in Coon Rapids. He was born April 15, 1940 in St. Paul to Robert Boyer and Irene Phillips and was a carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; children, Scott, Melanie (Jonathan) Bentley; grandchildren, Nicole, Kylee, Destiny, Douglas and Kaiden; sisters, Betty, Beverly and Rose; brothers, Raymond, Ralph, Bruce and David; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert; sons, Kevin and Brian; and grandson, Dustin.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Gearhart.
Letty Carlson
Funeral services for Letty K. Carlson, 54, Anoka, took place Jan. 2 at Emmanuel Christian Center, Spring Lake Park. Rev. Mark Kenney officiated.
Carlson died Dec. 29, 2002 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis. She was born Sept. 22, 1948 in Blaine to John M. and Esther M. (Finney) Murrell.
She is survived by her daughter, Shelley Carlson; son, Scott Carlson; grandchildren, Taylor Vonderharr and Raymond Carlson; mother, Esther Murrell; brother, John (Marty) Murrell Jr., Bill (Debbie) Murrell, Rick (Mary) Murrell, Robby Murrell and Harold Murrell; sisters, Dorothy (Don) Boeshans, Esther (Jim) Swenson, Lillian (Gary) Orttel, Mary Secora, and Cathy (Don) Johnson; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Murrell Sr.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Allen Elleraas Sr.
Funeral services for Allen W. Elleraas Sr., 87, Anoka, took place Dec. 27 at Gearhart Anoka Chapel.
Elleraas died Dec. 21, 2002 in Anoka. He was born June 29, 1915 in Twin Valley to Arne Elleraas and Gunda Lund and was a retired engineer at FMC.
He is survived by his sons, Allen Jr. (Sherry), Steven (Mary) and Vince; and grandchildren, Allen III, Erik, Calandra and Erin.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Zetta; and brother, Robert.
Interment was at Resurrection cemetery, Mendota Heights. Arrangements were by Gearhart.
Thelma Gotzman
Funeral services for Thelma Gotzman, 91, Coon Rapids, took place Jan. 4 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church. Rev. Brian Fragodt officiated.
Gotzman died Dec. 30, 2002 at Camilia Rose Convalescent Center, Coon Rapids. She was born May 17, 1911 in Grygla to Mathias Myrold and Albertina Jensen and was a retired librarian.
She is survived by her children, Carol (Robert) Mork, Anne (Mark) Swenson; grandchildren, Nathan and John Mork, Kristina (Nick) Fruge, Erik and David Swenson; sister, Merriett Hunstad; and nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; and seven brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers were Mark, Erik and David Swenson, Kristina Fruge, and Nathan, John and Robert Mork.
Interment was at Maple Grove cemetery, Ellsworth, Wis. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel.
