Carol McCann
Funeral services for Carol J. McCann, 63, Blaine, took place Feb. 21 at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Steinke officiated.
McCann died Feb. 18, 2003 at Unity Hospital. She was born July 22, 1939 in St. Cloud to Hubert Reinke and Irene Lund.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry; son, Andrew; mother, Irene Reinke and friend Ralph; and sister, Penny (Jack) Mulroy.
Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel.
Edward Moen
Private services for Edward A. Moen, 66, Anoka, took place.
Moen died Feb. 23, 2003 at Anoka Care Center. He was born Oct. 17, 1936 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, to Leonard A. and Antonia (Levesque) Moen and was a forklift operator at Federal Cartridge.
He is survived by his son, Steven and wife Lisa; three grandsons; mother, Toni Wolff and husband Bill; and brother, Shelly and wife Sandy.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Tracy Olson
Funeral services for Tracy Olson, 40, Andover, took place Feb. 21 at Plymouth Apostolic Lutheran Church. Rev. Charles Bergstedt officiated.
Olson died Feb. 16, 2003 in Minneapolis. He was born March 16, 1962 in Heidelberg, Germany, and was a machinist.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Brigette, Trevor and Rachel; father, Sigfried (Louise) Olson; mother, Kathy (David) Hinkley; siblings, Spenser (Patty), Ron (Deanne), Julie (Joe) LaFreniere; stepbrothers, David Hinkley, Brian Hinkley, Kevin Cobb and Mike Cobb; stepsisters, Mary (John) Savage, Jeanine (Alex) Szczech, Pam (Troy) Ryding; mother-in-law, Mary P (Bob) Tarvinew; brother-in-law, Joe (Judy) Pelkola, Dale (Carol) Pelkola, Jim (Lori) Pelkola; and Jeff (Martina) Pelkola.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Olson.
Pallbearers were Doug Beauvais, John Hoffmann, Craig Chapiewski, Corey Bowes, Joe, Dale, Jim and Jeff Pelkola, and Ron and Spenser Olson.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
Veta Young
Funeral services for Veta June Young, 71, Blaine, took place Feb. 22 at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. John Knochenmus officiated.
Young died Feb. 15, 2003 at her home. She was born June 30, 1931 to Martin Stever and Sarah Mishler, and was an accounting assistant at St. Timothy's Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; children, Patti (Rick) Phelps, Deb, Tim, Chris and her children Mindy, Cortney, Cole and Jeff; sisters, Norma (Al) Yarrington, Oritha Smith and Charlotte (George) Girard; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Peggy (Norm) Kopesky and Marilyn Young; best friend, Pat and Elaine; and many other relatives and friends.
Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel.
Neoma Bishir
Memorial services for Neoma 'Babe' Bishir, 73, Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 28 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Wanda Copeland officiated.
Bishir died Feb. 24, 2003 at Mercy Hospital. She was born Nov. 5, 1929 in Roseglen, N.D.
She is survived by her children, Sheila (Curtis) Hatler, David Duerkop (Leslie), Dawn Blaszkowski; grandchildren, Carrie and Amber; and other relatives and friends.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
David Cowett
Funeral services for David Paul Cowett, 55, Blaine, took place March 3 at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel. Rev. Heib officiated.
Cowett died Feb. 25, 2003 at Mercy Hospital. He was born Sept. 18, 1947 in Robbinsdale to Alcidas and Doris Cowett. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Army and an electrician.
He is survived by his sons, Robert and Michael and their mother Denise; sister, Judy (Rod) Kohout; nieces and nephews; and other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alcidas and Doris Cowett.
Pallbearers were Wally, Brian and Lou Weiss and Scott Goodwin.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National cemetery. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel.
Wanda Eddy
Funeral services for Wanda L. Eddy, 91, Idaho Falls, Idaho, formerly of Howard Lake, took place Feb. 28 at the Presbyterian Church of Howard Lake.
Eddy died Feb. 21, 2003 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. She was born March 13, 1911 in Cokato to Fred and Lillian (Zabel) Larson. She was a retired teacher, who taught school in Anoka.
She is survived by her son, Thomas L. (Rae) Eddy of Idaho Falls; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William.
Interment was at Cokato City cemetery. Arrangements were by Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home, Cokato and Howard Lake.
Judith Matt
Funeral services for Judith Ellen Matt (Shellstrom), 54, Fridley, took place Feb. 25 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. William Kirmsse officiated.
Matt died Feb. 19, 2003 at Fairview University Hospital. She was born Aug. 28, 1948 and was a volunteer cook.
She is survived by her son, Lloyd Matt (Lisa); daughters, Coreen Matt (Jimmy Weidner), DeEtte Patterson (Pat); grandchildren, Darby Mills, Colton Thomas and baby girl-to-be; and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Andy Gray Jeff, Dan and Jason Matt, Kyle Nelson and Steve Freitager.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
Helen Mills
Funeral services for Helen Lois Mills, 84, Anoka, took place March 3 at Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Anoka Chapel. Rev. Brenda King officiated.
Mills died Feb. 26, 2003 at Mercy Hospital. She was born Feb. 26, 1919 in Anoka and was a retired manufacturing laborer.
She is survived by her brother, Edson (Phyllis); nieces and nephews, Joan (Donald) Anderson, Daniel (Masumi) Mills, Thomas (Lynda) Mills, Mary Benson and husband Ron Buetler, Jim Mills; great nieces and nephews, Denise (George) Shouse, Jon (Amy) Mills, Josh (Judy) Mills, Natalie, Alex Mills, Karen Benson, Dominic Mills; and other cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Garfield and Selma Mills.
Pallbearers were Tom, Jon, Josh and Jim Mills.
Interment was at Forest Hill cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Anoka Chapel.
John Mohlencamp
Funeral services for John C. Mohlencamp, 68, Andover, took place Feb. 25 at Anoka United Methodist Church. Rev. Brenda King officiated.
Mohlencamp died Feb. 20, 2003 in Andover. He was born Dec. 11, 1934 in Windom and was a 33-year employee of Onan Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Karmen; children, John S. (LuAnn), Victoria Mohlencamp, Michael (Sandy), David (Michelle); grandchildren, John Austin, Sarah Samuel, Justin, McKenzie and Holly; mother, Maxine; brothers, Richard (Lynn); sister, Shirley (Doug) Grant; nieces and nephews; and family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, John A.
Pallbearers were Raymond and Jeffrey DeFries, Jerry Miller, John Austin Mohlencamp, Keith Dubbin and Scott Eckers.

Delmar Rand
Funeral services for Delmar 'Del' Rand, 69, Blaine, took place Feb. 25 at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Curtis J. Holub officiated.
Rand died Feb. 20, 2003 at his home. He was born April 12, 1933 in Jeffers and was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; sons, Dan, Tim (Sandy), Scott (Lisha); daughters, Kathy (Al) Taylor, Kelly (Cory) Pederson; 10 grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters; numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters.
Pallbearers were Duane Jr., Glen, Mitch, Doug, and Mark Salzwedel, John Nordeen, Bryan Gahlon and Brad Thompson.
