Teri Morse

Funeral services for Teri Lynne Morse (Ganz), 39, Moorhead, formerly of Blaine and Coon Rapids, took place April 26 at Coon Rapids Christian Center. Revs. Barry L. Davis and Philip C. Miller officiated.

Morse died April 21, 2003 in Omaha, Neb. She was born May 20, 1963 in Minneapolis to Fredrick Ganz and Sharon Stellmaker.

She is survived by her husband Todd; children, Brian, Emily, Michael; mother, Sharon Bendelow; sister, Lori Alamo (Jose); grandfather, John Stellmaker; grandmother, Margery Ganz; mother- and father-in-law, Jim and Wilma Morse;five brothers- and sisters-in-law and their families; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her farther, Fred Ganz Jr.

Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel.

Robert Olson

Funeral services for Robert C. Olson, 82, Coon Rapids, took place April 24 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Family members officiated.

Olson died April 20, 2003. He was born Sept. 7, 1920 and was retired from grocery sales.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy; children, Robby (Jutta), Susan Cole-Smith (Vic), Margie Revell (Jim); six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul; and other relatives and friends.

Interment was private at Fort Snelling National cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Edwarda Adams

Funeral services for Edwarda E. Adams, 81, Crystal, took place May 2 at Church of St. Patrick of Cedar Creek, Oak Grove. Rev. Michael J. Kennedy officiated.

Adams died April 29, 2003 at Twin River Care Center, Anoka. She was born June 2, 1921 in Kenmare, N.D., to John and Clara M. (Schumacher) Doetzel. She was a retired secretary.

She is survived by her children, Peg Lansink and husband Dave of Greensboro, N.C., Don Adams and wife Kathi of Fridley, Cindy Adams of Anoka, Patty Bauer of Coon Rapids, Susan Bonner and husband Kirk of Arden Hills; 22 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Lorraine Hall, Regina Fuller and husband Lyle, all of Minot, N.D.; and daughter-in-law, Sherry Adams of Blaine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; and son-in-law, Matt Bauer.

Pallbearers were Jason, William, David and Dylan Adams, Matthew Bauer and Scott Lansink.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Paul Beucler Sr.

Memorial services for Paul V. (Peter) Beucler, Sr., 70, Salem, Conn., formerly of Anoka, took place May 3 at Shepherd of the Sea Chapel, Groton, Conn.

Beucler died April 28, 2003 at W.W. Backus Hospital, Norwich, Conn. He was born July 17, 1932 in Detroit Lakes to Verr L. and Lillian (Sather) Beucler. He was raised in Anoka and graduated from Anoka High School. He served in the U.S. Navy in the Korean and Vietnam wars, and after retirement from the Navy he was employed by the state of Connecticut Department of Corrections.

He is survived by his wife, Rosie (DiMauro) Beucler; son, Paul Beucler Jr., of Hudson, Fla.; brother, George Beucler of Aitkin; sisters, Dorothy Loyd of Plymouth, Helen Ziegler of Ham Lake, Lillian Erickson of Hutchinson, and Elizabeth Lindgren, of Crystal; granddaughters, Alexis and Amanda of Spring Hill, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews; and grandnieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Harlan and Duane Beucler.

Interment will be at a later date at Fort Snelling National cemetery. Arrangements were by Belmont Funeral Home, Colchester, Conn.

Olive Butler

Funeral services for Olive G. Butler, 95, Anoka, took place May 6 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Norman R. Berg officiated,

Butler died May 2, 2003 at Mercy Hospital. She was born July 7, 1907 in Hatton, N.D., to Jurgen and Annie J. (Haroldson) Butler. She was a retired psychiatric aide at the former Anoka State Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Butler; close friends, Allen and Leone Struwve, Alice Daly, Margaret Foley, and Ron and Cindy Hornseth.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jurgen and Annie Butler.

Pallbearers were Tom and Mary Struwve, Vern and Jean Hammer, and Jim and Mary Harnan.

Interment was at Forest Hill cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.

Duwayne Donaldson

Funeral services for Duwayne 'Dewey' Donaldson, 37, Coon Rapids, took place May 3 at Our Savior's Church, Kelliher. Rev. Stephan Bomgren officiated.

Donaldson died April 28, 2003 at his home. He was born July 20, 1965 in Bemidji to Thomas and Delphine (Graham) Donaldson. He had worked in the city of Kelliher and in the Twin Cities before an automobile accident in 1991 left him a quadriplegic. He was rehabilitated at Sister Kenny Rehabilitation Center and Courage Center.

His is survived by his parents, Thomas and Delphine Donaldson of Kelliher; sister, Darla Donaldson of Fridley; extended family 'brothers, ' Steve Putnam and Quentin Brown; several aunts and uncles; and other family, friends and caregivers.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; great-grandparents; one aunt; and three uncles.

Interment was at Fairview cemetery, Kelliher. Arrangements were by Cease Funeral Home, Blackduck.

Jeffrey Huhtala

Funeral services for Jeffrey T. Huhtala, 15, Burns Township, took place May 6 at St. Francis High School Auditorium. Rev. Norman R. Berg officiated.

Huhtala died May 2, 2003 in an accident in Burns Township. He was born July 18, 1987 in Robbinsdale to Steven Huhtala and Debbie Vossen. He was a 10th-grade student at St. Francis High School.

He is survived by his parents, Steve and Debbie Huhtala; sister, Tonya; grandparents, Art Huhtala, Larry and Nancy Vossen; great-grandparents, Kay Hoppenrath, Richard and Colleen Vossen; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Phyllis Huhtala.

Interment was at Lakeview cemetery, Nowthen. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Viola Olson

Funeral services for Viola Rose Olson, 100, St. Louis Park, took place May 7 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Adrian Piotrowski officiated.

Olson died May 4, 2003 at Texas Terrace Care Center, St. Louis Park. She was born June 27, 1902 in Slayton to William Penberthy and Rose Sullivan. She was a retired inspector at Sears and Roebuck,

She is survived by her children, Lois (Berton) Atkinson, Joyce Hansen, Gladys Mosell and Kay (Dwight) Skinner; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Merle Lystad and Alice Trainer; and brother, Joe Penberthy.

She was preceded in death by her sons-in-law, Joe Mosell and Earl Hansen; parents; five brothers; and two sisters.

Pallbearers were Ron and Randy Atkinson, Stephen Han-sen, Tom Mosell, and Stephen and David Skinner. Honorary pallbearer was Paul Hansen.

Interment was at Forest Hill cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Olga Opitz

Funeral services for Olga L. Opitz, 85, Anoka, took place May 2 at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Roy Karner officiated.

Opitz died April 28, 2003 at North Memorial Residential Hospice. She was born Nov. 18, 1917 in Buffalo Lake to Emil H. Lipke and Martha M. Bartels.

She is survived by her children, Darlene (Harlen) Milbradt, Duane Opitz, Dennis (Peggy) Opitz; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Schwarzrock and Carol (Marvin) Stoeckmann; brothers, Helmuth Lipke, Harold Lipke, Fred (JoAnn) Lipke, Ervin (Janet) Lipke; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin R. Opitz; three sisters; and three brothers.

Pallbearers were Kevin and Jeffrey Milbradt, Matthew Opitz, Harold Lipke Jr., David Schwarzrock and Kyle Klaustermeier. Honorary pallbearer was Benjamin Opitz.

Interment was at St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery, Stewart. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Leonard Pokorny

Private burial ceremony for Leonard J. Pokorny, 92, Champlin, will take place at South Elmdale Congregational Church cemetery, Holdingford.

Pokorny died April 30, 2003 at his home. He was born Nov. 9, 1910 in Silver Lake to Joseph and Mary (Soltis) Pokorny, and was retired assistant to the vice president of Chrysler Corporation.

He is survived by his brother, Ernie and wife Ann; sister-in-law, Marie Pokorny; nieces, Patty McKenzie and husband Mike, Phyllis Pauly, Elaine Pokorny; and many relatives, neighbors and friends.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.

Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Loran Schuh

Funeral services for Loran E. 'Bud' Schuh, 75, Anoka, took place May 3 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Norman R. Berg officiated.

Schuh died April 30, 2003 in Coon Rapids. He was born June 4, 1927 in Grand Rapids to Elmer L. a nd Lydia (Jasmer) Schuh and was retired from Honeywell. He was a U.S. Navy veteran from World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Millie; daughters, Laurie (Al) Krogen of Coon Rapids, Patti (Paul) Grulke of Virginia, Nan-cy (Joe) Jeanotte of Willmar; granddaughters, Kristen Grulke Chapman, Emily and Samantha Jeanotte; great-granddaughter, Katelyn Chapman; sister, June (Glenn) Miller of Rochester; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Lydia Schuh.

Interment was at Fort Snelling National cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
