Flordeliza Parayno
Funeral services for Flordeliza V. Parayno, 72, Minneapolis, took place Oct. 18 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Bill Deziel officiated.
Parayno died Oct. 15, 2003 in Minneapolis. She was born Nov. 18, 1930 in Nueva Ecila, Philippines, to Dr. Leon Velasco and Feliciana Reyes, and was a dentist.
She is survived by her children, Chessa (Marc) Montgomery, Mario Jr., Vincent (Maricris), Elisa Parayno, Guia Parayno, Cecile (Bobby) Pineda; grandchildren, Taylor Montgomery, Nikki Parayno, Allyson Parayno, Sophia Parayno, Adam Pineda, Madison Pineda; sisters, Zenaida (Satero) Torralba, Eva (Mely) Alfonso, Alma (Rick) Wright; and brothers, Leon Velasco Jr., and Naricisso (Mini) Velasco.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mario.
Pallbearers were Mario Parayno, Marc Montgomery, Sonny Lacqui, Rick Wright, Isagani Munar, and Bob Pineda. Honorary pallbearers were Greg Easley and Abe Malicsi.
Interment was at Calvary cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Gearhart.
Alice Petersen
Memorial services for Alice (Goodrich) Petersen, 94, Osseo, formerly of Champlin and Anoka, took place Oct. 19 at Osseo United Methodist Church.
Petersen died Oct. 15, 2003. She was a church organist and pianist.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Ken) Scherer, Eloise (Don) Miller, Mary (Howard) Working; son, Frank (Joan) Petersen; sister, Lorraine (John) Higgins; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank; brother, Jim; and grandson, Troy.
Arrangements were by the Cremation Society of Minnesota.
Lowell Rollins
Funeral services for Lowell R. Rollins, 83, Anoka, took place Oct. 17 at Gearhart Anoka Chapel. Rev. Norman Berg officiated.
Rollins died Oct. 12, 2003 in Anoka. He was born July 20, 1920 in Minneapolis to Alfred Rollins and Edith Olson and was a retired Anoka Police officer.
He is survived by his sons, Dave (Julia), Chuck (Ronna), Dean, John and Ken; daughters, Deanna (Mic) Malamen, Mary Kay Arnold and Jean (Duane) Wistrom; special friend, Betty Cybyske; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Warren (Aggie) Rollins; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pearl,
Pallbearers were Derek Arnold, Jim and Michael Malamen, Scott Rollins, and Bryon and Duane Wistrom.
Interment was at Calvary cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Gearhart.
Mildred Skordrud
Funeral services for Mildred A. Skordrud (Quinn), 83, St. Anthony, took place Oct. 18 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Liane Rock officiated.
Skordrud died Oct. 15, 2003 at St. Anthony Health Care Center. She was born Feb. 2, 1920 in Milltown, Wis., and was a retired secretary.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol and Jean Bjorn (Jim Knotsch); grandson, Michael (Vickie) Bjorn; great-grandchildren, Kaley and Curtis Bjorn; and sister, Mabel (Marvon) Shay of New Richmond, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Skordrud and Thomas Quinn; daughter, Donna; and grandson, Curtis Bjorn.
Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
Theo Stulc Jr.
Funeral services for Theo G. Stulc Jr., 59, Coon Rapids, took place Oct. 20 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. Patrick Kennedy officiated.
Stulc died Oct. 15, 2003 at his residence in Coon Rapids. He was born April 18, 1944 in Minneapolis to Theofil G. Stulc Sr. and Mary Miracky. He was a trim carpenter for Nedegaard Co. and a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine; children, Wendy (Chris) Sloneker, Theo (Karen), Philip (Sara), Amy (Joel) Linngren; grandchildren, Kiersten, Courtney, Nathan, Katrina, Brett, Johnathon; siblings, Virginia Stulc, Mary (Tim) Schroeder, Carolyn (Joseph) Smith; and other relatives and many friends.
Pallbearers were Philip and Theo Stulc, Chris Sloneker, Joel Linngren, Bob Barbero and Joe Linder.
Interment was at Epiphany cemetery. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel.
Myrtle Sylvester
Funeral services for Myrtle Lucinda Sylvester, 90, formerly of Bethel, took place Oct. 22 at the West Bethel United Methodist Church. Chaplain Paul Reynolds officiated.
Sylvester died Oct. 19, 2003 at the Grandview Christian Home. She was born Dec. 23, 1912 in Cedar, to Al and Jessie Henrikson and was a lifelong resident of Anoka County.
She is survived by her children, Doris Scheer of Minneapolis, LaVonne (Gene) Nelson of Cambridge, Galin (Pat) Sylvester of Stanchfield; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Vivian Garmatz of Elk River; brothers, Kenneth Henrikson of Brainerd, Ernie Henrikson of Champlin, Darle Henrikson of Washington; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn; sister, Isabell Peterson; and brothers, Forest and Lloyd Henrikson.
Pallbearers were Kurt Nelson, Randy Chumley, Doug Thul, Dann Olson, and Harlan and Kevin Madsen.
Interment was at Oak Leaf cemetery. Arrangements were by Carlson-Labatte Funeral Home, Cambridge.
Marvin Andersen
Funeral services for Marvin H. Andersen, 83, Blaine, took place Oct. 18 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Blaine.
Andersen died Oct. 13, 2003. He was born July 3, 1940 in Duluth to Harry and Lucille Andersen, and was a lineman for Excel Energy.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Lorine (Michael) Knutson, Kevin (Marnelle), and Lynette; grandchildren, Jessica Lynn and Theodore Robert; brothers, Kenneth, Wally (Judy) and niece Alicia; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marge and Fred Barron and niece Sandy (Joe) and nephew, Scott; former sister-in-law, Barbara Andersen; and may relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Lucille Andersen.
Pallbearers were Larry Kubiak, Rodger Pearson, Fred Barron, William Gould, Darrel Voorhees and Donald Strenge.

Roger Berganini
Funeral services for Roger Allen Berganini, 62, Coon Rapids, took place Oct. 27 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bill Steinke officiated.
Berganini died Oct. 24, 2003. He was born Oct. 28, 1940 in Hibbing and was employed in trucking.
He is survived by his wife, Elma; brother, Richard (Diane); nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mario and Elizabeth Berganini.

Elaine Collier
Memorial services for Elaine Esther (Sigford) Collier, 86, Anoka, took place Oct. 23 at First Congregational Church, Anoka.
Collier died Oct. 20, 2003.
She is survived by her daughter, Marie (David) Harsh; son, Harry (Mae) Collier; brother, Robert O. (Theo) Sigford; grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Maxine and Janet Sigford; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George X.M. Collier; parents, Swan and Esther Sigford; and brothers, Marshall, John and Kenneth.

Carolyn Fowler
Funeral services for Carolyn A. Fowler, 56, Stillwater, formerly of Forest Lake, took place Oct. 25, 2003 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids.
She is survived by her husband, David; children, Scott and wife Kristin, Jeff, Kristina, Katie and Joel; grandchildren, Nick and Hannah, and Hayden; sisters, Kathy and Karen; brother, Tom; nieces and nephews; and special friend, Judy Savoie 'Pear.'
She was preceded in death by her son, Daniel.

Joan Manderfeld
Funeral services for Joan Mary Manderfeld, Fridley, will take place tomorrow (Saturday, Nov. 1), 11 a.m., at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Bernard Reiser will officiate.
Manderfeld died Oct. 23, 2003 at Mercy Hospital. She was born in Jamestown, N.D.
