Gladys Henrikson
Memorial services for Gladys D. Henrikson, 77, Elk River, took place Nov. 14 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, East Bethel.
Henrikson died Nov. 10, 2003 at her home. She was born Sept. 22, 1926 to Mabel and Henry Jackson.
She is survived by her daughter, LaCinda Henrikson; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Forest 'Fud' Henrikson; son, David Henrikson; and daughter, CloAnn Bakke.
Interment was at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church cemetery, East Bethel. Arrangements were by Dare's Funeral Service, Elk River.
June Jessen
Funeral services for June A. Jessen, 79, Blaine, took place Nov. 15 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Jack Shields officiated.
Jessen died Nov. 13, 2003 at Unity Hospital. She was born March 16, 1924 in Minneapolis to Nels P. and Alma S.A. (Orum) Jessen.
She is survived by her children, Janice (Francis) Feil, Marty (Georgia), Judy (Ralph) Huntosh, Joyce (Terry) O'Loughlin, Joan (Ken) Ewer; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Pouliot; brother-in-law, Millard Gilmer; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold.
Pallbearers were Fletcher Klick and Karalee Cin.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
Bernadette Larson
Memorial services for Bernadette C. 'Bea' Larson, 87, Lakewood, Wash., formerly of Anoka and Scottsdale, Ariz., took place Aug. 22 at Mount Cross Lutheran Church, University Place, Wash.
Larson died Aug. 11, 2003.
She is survived by her son, Col. Charles A. Larson, USAF retired, of Lakewood, Wash.; grandchildren, Melissa C. Stoltenberg of Lakewood, Wash., and Leslie L. Martin of Coatesville, Pa.; and great-grandchildren, Blake Stoltenberg and Grant Martin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Ralph Larson.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National cemetery.
Lawrence Silverdahl
Funeral services for Lawrence E. Silverdahl, 69, Mounds View, took place Nov. 14 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Blaine. Rev. Ken Opat officiated.
Silverdahl died Nov. 10, 2003 in Mounds View. He was born Jan. 25, 1934 in Silverdake to John and Selena Silverdahl and was an auto parts salesman and past Grand Knight Fourth Degree.
He is survived by his wife, Joan; children, Steve (Kristy), Lisa (Bob) Fauble; Lori (Dan) Houff; grandchildren, Katrina, Jonathan and Caitlin; sister, Bertha; and niece, Ruthie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Selena Silverdahl; one brother; and two sisters.
Pallbearers were Bob Fauble, Dan Houff, Ken Ostlund, Vince Lundberg, Dave Lodermeier, and Jonathan Silverdahl.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Milton Weitala
Funeral services for Milton Allen Weitala, 78, Akeley, formerly of Anoka, took place Nov. 18 at the Jones-Pearson Funeral Home, Park Rapids. Rev. Gary Walpole officiated.
Weitala died Nov. 14, 2003 at his home. He was born Oct. 25, 1925 in Guelph, N.D., to Allen and Helmi (Wiirre) Weitala. He was a landscape designer for 25 years in the Twin Cities, including Pine Cone Nursery, Coon Rapids.
He is survived by his special friend, Luella Anderson of Akeley and Jewell, Iowa; daughter, Linda (Dan ) Kriesel of Kansas City, Mo.; grandchildren, Kelly Kriesel of Independence, Mo., Michael Kriesel of Tucson, Ariz., and Brian (Kerry) Kriesel of Flagstaff, Ariz.; great-grandsons, Trevor and Jordan; sisters, Myrtle (Jim) Telin of North St. Paul and Mae Gebhardt of Ellendale, N.D.; brother, Maynard (Kathy) Weitala of St. Paul; numerous nieces and nephews; and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phillis 'Marty;' parents; and sister, Millie Gumby.
Pallbearers were Mike, Brian, Trevor and Kelly Kreisel, Jason and Meghan Lorentzen, Donald Telin and Jerome Gebhardt.
Interment was at Forest Hill cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Jones-Pearson Funeral Home, Park Rapids.
Roger Betzold
Funeral services for Roger H. Betzold, 82, Ham Lake, took place Nov. 21 at St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Blaine. Rev. Harry Tasto officiated.
Betzold died Nov. 18, 2003 in Coon Rapids. He was born Dec. 12, 1920 in St. Goold to George and Helen Betzold and was a retired optical store manager.
He is survived by his wife, Norma; children, Roger Betzold Jr., Debbie (Oren) Payne, Cindy (Jim Edwards) Ninote, John (Joy) Betzold, Helen (Jim) Zumbaum, Joe (Lynn) Betzold and Ron Betzold; 16 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Ann) Betzold; sisters, Cleora (Wally) Robertson and Mildred Schulenburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Jacob Betzold, Kevin and Joseph Anderson, Cory Payne, Dan Hinote and James Zumbaum.
Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Randy Bloch
Funeral services for Randy Bloch, 56, Champlin, took place Nov. 20 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Kari Bahe officiated.
Bloch died Nov. 15, 2003 in St. Louis Park. He was born Oct. 25, 1947 in Minneapolis to Ralph Sr. and Violet Bloch, and was a shipping manager for Winning Edge.
He is survived by his wife, Pat; sons, Brian (Shelly), Tom and Andy; grandchildren, Kiley and Taylor; mother, Violet; sisters, Judy Andrescik (Dan) and Rhoda Hansen (Duwayne); and many relatives and friends,
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Sr.; and brother, Ralph Jr. 'Nip.'
Pallbearers were Robert Marszalek, Robert Dakin, Bradley Peske, and Dale, Drew and Dayn Hansen.

James Gorsegner
Funeral services for James R. Gorsegner 'Big Jim, ' 69, Coon Rapids, took place Nov. 19 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. William Kirmsse officiated.
Gorsegner died Nov. 5, 2003 at his residence. He was born July 4, 1934 in Stanley, Wis., and was employed in paving and blacktopping.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; children, Kenneth, Yvonne Filosi (Pat Kennedy), Wanda (Donald) Owens and Rick; grandchildren, Jeremy (Megan), Derek, Brian, Brent (Liya), Nathan, Joe and Hope; great-grandchildren, Joshua, Jacob and Allison; sisters, Paddy Burkman and Shirley (Gordy) Fink; sister-in-law, Emily Gorsegner; brother, Leroy (Julie); and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Laila Gorsegner; and brother, Chris.
Interment was private in Wisconsin. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
Harold Julien
Funeral services for Harry E. Julien, 92, Blaine, took place Nov. 19 at Methven-Taylor Blaine Chapel, with Rev. Liane Rock officiating, and Nov. 20 at Grantsburg, Wis., with Rev. Myron Carlson officiating.
Julien died Nov. 15, 2003 in Blaine. He was born Oct. 12, 1911 in Grantsburg, Wis., to Richard Julien and Ida Bloom. He was a World War II Army veteran and a retired builder.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary Julien, Avis Julien, Martha Shima, Alice Huber, Lori Enderle (Roger); sons-in-law, Jeff Bednar, John Shima; and grandchildren, Nicholas Dahlheimer, Madalyn Stroman and Kayla Enderle.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce; four brothers; two sisters; and great-granddaughter, Andrea.
Pallbearers were John Shima, Jeff Bednar, Matthew and Bobby Huber, Nicholas Dahlheimer and Al Brunberg.
Interment was at Riverside cemetery, Grantsburg, Wis. Arrangements were by Methven-Taylor Funeral Home, Blaine Chapel.
Mary Kircher
Funeral services for Mary A. Kircher, 72, Crystal, took place Nov. 26 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Kircher died Nov. 22, 2003 at Crystal Care Center. She was born July 31, 1931 in Kingmans Township to Roman and Mathilda Manderfeld and was a 21-year employee of Plastics, Inc.
She is survived by her children, Tom (Brenda) Kircher, Sue (Jim) Kane, Tim (Sandy) Kircher, Kathy Vandersteen; grandchildren, Casey, Shawn, Jessie, Sarah, Kyle, Katie, Emily, Ben, Olivia, and Hannah; brother, Larry (Marlys) Manderfeld; and many friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jerome; and sister, Phyllis.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
