Funeral service for LuVerne Heiskary, 77, Blaine, took place Jan. 27 at Christ Lutheran Church, Blaine.
Heiskary died Jan. 23, 2006. She was born in Wright County and had lived in Blaine for 47 years.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew; sons, Steven (Margaret) and Doug; daughter, Darlene; grandchildren, Tammy, Melissa, Tristan and Alaina; brother, Harvey Engelman (Shirley); sister, Lorene Pletcher (Ronald); sister-in-law, Virginia Miller; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Olga and Charles Engelman; and brothers, Allen, Marion and Earl.
Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Tami Voge-Ingman
Funeral service for Tami Leigh Voge-Ingman, 38, Andover, took place Jan. 28 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. Liane S. Rock officiated.
Voge-Ingman died Jan. 25, 2006 at her home. She was born Nov. 30, 1967 in Fridley.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; son, Justin; mother, Coralee Voge; aunt, Cheri Alonso; and cousins, Marc, Bryan and Nathan.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Phillip and Phyllis Voge.
Pallbearers were Mike Pipenhagen, Rory and Todd Emmans, Charlie Giddings, Jeff Anderson and Bruce Ingman.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
Mark Lien
Funeral service for Mark J. Lien, 45, Coon Rapids, formerly of Grenada, Miss., took place Jan. 30 at St. Phillip's Lutheran Church, Fridley, Rev. Jan Hartsook officiated.
Lien died Jan. 25, 2006 in Coon Rapids. He was born Jan. 9, 1961 in St. Paul to Jackie and May Lien and was a sales manager for a heating and cooling company.
He is survived by his daughters, Angie (Raymond) Jarvis and Andrea Lien; fiancee, Mary Berg and her children, Jessica, Sara and Kyle; former stepson, Marshall (Terrie) Elemons; grandson, Jarrod; sisters, Dawn (Steve) Kable and Sandy (Kevin) Ondrock; Angie and Andrea's mother, Laura (Scott) Sharp; former wife, Billie Dover; parents, Jackie (Linda) Lien and May Harris; nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins; and friends and business associates.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Emma Lien; and aunt, Vickie Raschke.
Pallbearers were Jeff and Dan Sternaugel, Bill Mattson, Kevin Ondrock, Kyle Berg and Raymond Javis.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
Gertrude Officer
Funeral service for Gertrude Officer, 99, Nortonville, N.D., took place Jan. 27 at the Hi-Acre Manor Chapel, Jamestown, N.D. Revs. Larry Gunther and David Fisher officiating.
Officer, 99 died Jan. 23, 2006 at Hi-Acre Manor. She was born Sept. 30, 1906 in Jud, N.D., to O. Ralph and Florence (Fay) Bennett.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley Lindgren of Nortonville, N.D.; sons, Ralph (Syrie) Officer of Coon Rapids, James (Esther) Officer of Gwinner, N.D.; daughter-in-law, Diane Officer Galloway of Omaha, Neb.; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and sister, Helen Marchus of Walnut Creek, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; son, Gordon; and three brothers.
Interment was at Mount Hope Cemetery, Edgeley, N.D. Arrangements were by Lisko Funeral Chapel, Jamestown.
Ruby Ring
Graveside service for Ruby Elaine Ring, 74, Champlin, took place Jan. 30 at Lakeview Cemetery, Clear Lake, S.D. Rev. Greg Myrmoe officiated.
Ring died Jan. 23, 2006 at Twin Rivers Care Center. She was born Sept. 19, 1931 in Madison to Rufus and Grace (Henderson) McBride and was a retired inspector at Honeywell in the ordnance manufacturing division.
She is survived by her son, Al Swenson of Toronto, S.D.; sister, Linda Musch of Everett, Wash.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers; and three sisters.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Francis Swenson and John Ring; and son, Terry Swenson.
Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery, Clear Lake, S.D. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
John Uphoff
Funeral service for John J. Uphoff, 95, Anoka, took place Jan. 25 at Glen Cary Lutheran Church, Ham Lake. Rev. Paul R. Settergren officiated.
Uphoff died Jan. 20, 2006 in Anoka. He was born Oct. 25, 1910 in Oneida, S.D., to Dirk and Elsie Uphoff and was a retired truck mechanic.
He is survived by his children, Marlys (Robert) Oie, Carol (Stan) Smith, Gene (Sharon) Uphoff and Keith (Vicky) Uphoff; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Millie.
Pallbearers were Dale Oie, Roger, Rick, Eric and John Uphoff and Mike Smith.
Interment was at Forest Lawn Cemetery, St. Paul. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
Melissa Chaney
Memorial service for Melissa Mae Chaney (Henke), 31, Ramsey, will take place tomorrow (Saturday, Feb. 11), 11 a.m., at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. Rev. Dennis Heiden will officiate.
Chaney died Jan. 30, 2006 at her home. She was born Dec. 3, 1974 in Farmington to Jack Harland Henke and Joni Rene (Ramsey) Bargel.
She is survived by her husband, Victor; father, Jack (Cindy) Henke; mother, Joni (Steve) Bargel; brother, Ian Bargel; sister, Ashley Henke; and grandparents, Harland and Shirley Henke, Evelyn Ramsey.

Gordon Peterson
Funeral service for Gordon C. 'Gordy' Peterson, 67, Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 9 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Kjell Ferris officiated.
Peterson died Feb. 4, 2006 at his home. He was born April 4, 1938 in Milaca to Carl L. and Margaret (Lyman) Peterson and was a retired bookbinder.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters, Kari (Clark) Nelson of Hudson, Wis., Kaye (Thor) Pearson of Coon Rapids; son-in-law, Daniel Luke of Andover; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Joan (Gordy) Pulley of Virginia, Mary Phillips of Shoreview; brother, Michael (Debbie) Malloy of Edina; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Korinn Luke; and parents, Carl Peterson and Margaret (Peterson) Malloy.
Pallbearers were Ronald and Jerry Olson, Michael, Nathan and Zachary Peterson, Kyle Blaha, Ben Nelson and Guy Nedry.

Sarah Worley
Funeral service for Sarah Elizabeth 'Betsy' Worley, 53, Bristol, Va., formerly of Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 8 in Bristol.
Worley died Feb. 3, 2006 in Bristol. She and her husband, Kenneth, moved to Bristol in September 2005 after he retired. She was a day care provider for 18 years in Coon Rapids.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth; son, Kenneth Jr. of Bristol, Tenn.; daughter, Abigail of Las Vegas, Nev.; and four grandchildren.
Alvin Bremseth
Funeral service for Alvin K. Bremseth, 83, Brooklyn Park, took place Feb. 13, 2006 at Lutheran Church of the Master, Brooklyn Center.
He is survived by his children, Donna Mae Bremseth, Sandra Jamieson (Robert), John Bremseth (Susan) and Michael Bremseth; grandchildren, Brian, James and Amber Griffin, Ashlei, Robert and Brooke Jamieson, Evan and Andrew Bremseth; three great-grandchildren; four brothers; four sisters; special friend, Rose; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn; and grandson, Richard Bremseth.
Interment was at Mound Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
George Cutts
Memorial service for George G. Cutts, 53, Coon Rapids, will take place this evening (Friday, Feb. 17, 2006), 7 p.m., at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Cutts was employed at Star Services, St. Paul, and was active in the Boy Scouts.
He is survived by his wife, Nola; children, Stephanie, Paul, Betsy, Samuel and Joseph; father, Charles; and sister, Beth Cutts.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jane.
Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
