Beverly Deitz
Funeral service for Beverly Overland Deitz, 56, Mounds View, took place Feb. 9 at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, Mounds View.
Deitz died Feb. 4, 2006. She was born Nov. 21, 1949 in Grand Forks, N.D., to LaVerne Maack and John Overland. She was an employee of U.S. Bank for over 20 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Teri (Kevin) Byrne of Shoreview; sons, Tony (Mary) of Coon Rapids, Eric (Tina) of Blaine; grandchildren, Chase, Colten and Clayton Deitz, Natasha (Chris) Dahl, Miranda, Kalina and Andrew Anderson; great-granddaughter, Elizabeth; sisters, Nadine Grabanski of Apple Valley, Tami (Brian) Purcell of Grand Forks; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, LaVerne and John Overland; brother, Dwight; and brother-in-law, Bob Grabanski.
Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Helen Ebert
Memorial service for Helen L. Ebert, 74, took place Feb. 10 at Roselawn Cemetery, Roseville.
Ebert died Jan. 31, 2006. She was born in Spring Valley, Wis., to Neil and Delia (Aamodt) Carlson. She was employed at Norwest Bank for 36 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Penny (Ked) Baldwin, Pam (Dave) Burgess, Julie (Tom) Roark and Mary Ebert; sisters, Deloris Barg of Florida; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bud; husband, Bill; and grandson, Eric.
Entombment was at Roselawn Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Gregory Halls
Memorial service for Gregory D. Halls, 44, Maple Grove, formerly of Spring Lake Park, took place Feb. 9, 2006 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
He is survived by his parents, Marvin and Adeline (Skip and Adie); sister, Kathryn; and brothers, Douglas and Randy.

Robert Hosford
Funeral service for Robert J. Hosford, 70, Otsego, took place Feb. 11 at St. Andrew's Church, Elk River. Rev. Joseph Korf officiated.
Hosford died Feb. 6, 2006 in Coon Rapids. He was born July 21, 1935 in Menomonie, Wis., to Victor and Anne Hosford. He was a cabinet maker.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Kirsti La Valle, Roberta Jo (James) DeLong and Donald Hosford; brothers, Edwin and Victor (Marian) Hosford; sisters, Mary and Judy Hosford; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Mary Ellen; and sister, Patty.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
Robert Krasny
Funeral service for Robert L. Krasny, 68, Coon Rapids, took place Feb. 11, 2006 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Deborah (Doug) Booth, Brian (Danielle), Patricia (Cornelius), Mercea; grandchildren, Brandon, Parker, Kobe and Olivia; and sisters, Evelyn Krasny and Audrey Scholly.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, George Jr.
Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Mary Lindberg
Memorial service for Mary E. Lindberg (Jensen), 43, Anoka, took place Jan. 27 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Lindberg died Jan. 22, 2006.
She is survived by her daughters, Christina and Camille; granddaughter, BreaLyn; mother, Arlene (Bill) Schroeder; brothers, Peter Jensen and Christopher (Joyce) Jensen; sister, Lorene (Dewayne) Richter; former husband, Michael Lindberg; special friend, Patrick Igoe; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lloyd.

Richard Nelson
Memorial service for Richard J. Nelson, 79, Andover, took place Feb. 5, 2006 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor; son, Craig (Liz); daughter, Gay Hemen; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Gary Roesner
Funeral service for Gary W. Roesner, 65, Champlin, took place Feb. 16 at Servant of Christ Lutheran Church, Champlin. Rev. Eric Walbolt officiated.
Roesner died Feb. 11, 2006 at his home. He was born Oct. 14, 1940 in Lakefield to Ernest A. and Edna M. (Erbst) Roesner. He was retired from Target Corporation.
He is survived by his wife, Patrice; sons, Eric (Jennifer) Roesner and Kevin Roesner; daughter, Aimee (David) Andreotti; granddaughter, Juliana Roesner; brothers, Larry, Don, Ron and David; sister, Karen; and other many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Edna Roesner.
Pallbearers were Reg Berg, Lyle Lindquist, Ron Jacobson, John Maniak, John Stalpes and Don Kiphuth.
Interment was at Champlin Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Cheraye Romanoff
Memorial service for Cheraye Leslie (Rasch) Romanoff, 41, Rye, N.Y., formerly of Anoka, took place Feb. 16 at Rye Presbyterian Church, Rye, N.Y.
Romanoff died Feb. 4, 2006 at Calvary Hospital, New York City. She was born Sept. 14, 1964 in Minot, N.D., to Carroll Herbert Rasch and Carol Marie Appel. She graduated from Anoka High School in 1983, playing in the high school orchestra and the Greater Twin Cities Youth Symphonies. She worked for Delta Airlines.
She is survived by her son, Nicholas Evan Romanoff; boyfriend, Ryan Casci of Hoboken, N.J.; mother, Carol Appel of Minnetonka; father, Carroll (Barbara) Rasch of St. Louis Park; sister, Colette (Dmitri) and nephews Eli, Gabriel and George Kopendakha of Minnetonka; stepbrother, Greg (Annette) Goldstein of Santa Monica, Calif.; stepsister, Claire (Matthew) Swanson of Chicago, Ill; and uncle, Bruce (Virginia) Appel and cousins Karina and Kristine Appel of Longmont, Colo.
Inurnment was at Rye Presbyterian Church columbarium and a hilltop near Lucca, Italy.
James Rupar
Funeral service for James Daniel Rupar, 62, Ham Lake, took place Feb. 10 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Rick Lanning officiated.
Rupar died Feb. 6, 2006 in Minneapolis. He was born Feb. 1, 1944 in Chisholm to Anthony and Lydia Rupar and was a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; sons, James (Bess) and Micah (Tammy); daughters, Shelley Knoll (Allen) and Sherry Pettis; grandchildren, Danny, Derek, Kayla, Brady, Kendall, Trenten and Hannah; and brother, Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Lydia; and brother, David.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home.
David Sanft
Funeral service for David Medina Sanft, Blaine, took place Feb. 4 at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, Roseville. Rev. Robert Hausman officiated.
He was born silently Jan. 29, 2006 to David and Shannon Sanft of Blaine.
He is survived by his parents, Shannon and David; grandparents, Herb and Sara Medina, Leslie Miller and David and Susan Sanft; great-grandmother, Lorraine Buckholtz; many aunts and uncles; and a host of other relatives.

Zachary Smith
Funeral service for Zachary T. Smith, 17, Cedar, took place Feb. 6, 2006 at Maranatha Assembly of God, Forest Lake.
He was a member of the St. Francis High School soccer and tennis teams and the Andover invaders and North Metro soccer teams.
He is survived by his parents, Jeff and Lori; brother, Jacob and Joshua; grandparents, Andrew and Jonnie Konsor and Hildegard Smith; aunts and uncles, Percy (Rob) Brinkman, Geary (Carol) Smith, Connie (Bruce) Cox, Brenda McWilliams, Jeff (Barb) Konsor, Ellery (Bernie) Konsor, Wesley and Jeanne Konsor; 10 cousins; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Elsie and Andrew Konsor; grandfather, Arthur Smith; and uncle, Todd Smith.
