Roberta Schwalbe
Funeral service for Roberta Ann Schwalbe (Nelson), 70, Minneapolis, took place March 23 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids. Rev. Hennen officiated.
Schwalbe died March 19, 2006 at North Memorial Medical Center, Coon Rapids. She was born Oct. 29, 1935 in Minneapolis.
She is survived by her children, Steven, Mary (John) Shutrop, Jim (Cindy), Robert, Kathleen (Tim) Finch, Barbara Schwalbe; 13 grandchildren; two sisters; one brother; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger; and son, Michael.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Sharron Wills
Memorial service for Sharron Christine Wills, 65, Brooklyn Park, took place March 25 at Servant of Christ Lutheran Church, Champlin. Rev. Eric Walbot officiated.
Wills died March 19, 2006 at North Ridge Care Center, Crystal. She was born Sept. 19, 1940 in Robbinsdale to Carlton Elmer and Helen Ruby (Iverson) Parrish. She worked for Honeywell.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Wills; former husband, Roy Middaugh; children, Debbie (Peter) Zoltai, Vicki Middaugh, Roy S. (Lori) Middaugh, Mike Middaugh, Karen (John) VanScoik, Patti (John) Rud; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Jack (Donna) Parish; and sister, Kaye (Donnie) Hawkins.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Karen Parrish and Janet Lawrence; and brother, Elroy Parrish.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Richard Beyer
Funeral service for Richard 'Dick' Beyer, 72, Coon Rapids, took place April 29 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Beyer died April 25, 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce; sons, Steven (Jill) Beyer, Rick (Melissa) Beyer; grandchildren, Sandie, Stephanie, Jacob, Samuel and Becca; mother, Anne; sister, Phyllis (Jim) Imand; brother, Wally (Pat); and many relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leo; and wife, Elaine.

William Fritsinger
Memorial service for William 'Bill' Fritsinger, 66, Blaine, took place April 29, 2006 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; sons, Bill and Douglas; brothers, Bruce (Joyce) and Bob; sister, Jill Grant (Greg); brothers and sisters-in-law, Brian Telfer (Penny), Wayne McKnight (Marg) and Jack McKnight; special friends, Al and Muriel Brodin; and many nieces and nephews and their children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Rose; and sister, Susie.

Maxine Gardner
Funeral service for Maxine (Matte) Gardner, 86, Blaine, took place April 27 at Emmanuel Christian Center, Spring Lake Park. Rev. Mark Denyes officiated.
Gardner died April 24, 2006. She was born July 29, 1919 in Pierre, S.D.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Reams and Priscilla Johnson; adopted daughter Mary Zeiroth; stepson, Douglas (Jan) Gardner; grandchildren, Larry Lepowsky and friend Robbin, Pam Lepowsky and husband John Kilpatrick, Terry 'Tiger' Lepowsky, Rick (Janet) Lepowsky, Scott (Mary Lou) Lepowsky, Gary Swiers and friend Terry, Ron (Rachael) Swiers, Cheryl Swiers, Tom (Heidi) Niccum, Tim (Judy) Johnson, Mark (Cindy) Johnson; granddaughter-in-law, Cheryl 'CK;' 23 great-grandchildren; brother, Fred Bunker; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lloyd Matte and Loyd Johnson; and parents, Frank and Violet Bunker.

Henrietta Hanson
Funeral service for Henrietta M. Hanson, 96, Brooklyn Center, took place April 29 at North United Methodist Church.
Hanson died April 25, 2006 at the Maranatha Care Center.
She is survived by her daughters, Deanna (James) Thennis of Helena, Mont., and Roberta (Dennis) Johnson of Cedar; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bert N.; brother, Ernest Johnson; and sister, Edna Johnson.
Interment was at Sunset Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Crystal Hermanson
Funeral service for Crystal D. Hermanson, 16, Isanti, took place April 28 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Rev. Jose Edayadiyil officiated.
Hermanson died April 25, 2006 as the result of an accident.She was born Oct. 25, 1989 at St. Paul and was in the 10th-grade at St. Francis High School. She was active in 4-H and was a 4-H Ambassador.
She is survived by her parents, Duane and Debbie Hermanson; brother, Daniel; sister, Rose, all of Isanti; grandparents, Donald and Darlene Olson of Mora, and Greg and Loretta Utecht of Richmond; great-grandmother, Emma Hermanson of Braham; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Westrup; and great-grandparents, Helmer Hermanson, Anton and Irene Westrup, Frank and Mary Nistler and Alex and Matilda Utecht.
Pallbearers were Gary Westrup, Mark Wendroth, Roger and Rick Utecht, Gary Schulzetenberg and Dave VonRueden.
Interment was at Isanti Union Cemetery. Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel.
Alice Kalas
Funeral service for Alice Pauline Kalas, 81, Coon Rapids, took place May 2 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka. Rev. David Franzmeier officiated.
Kalas died April 29, 2006 at Camilia Rose Convalescent Center, Coon Rapids. She was born April 24, 1925 in Lawton, N.D., to Henry and Caroline (Jicha) Pecka and was a retired seamstress.
She is survived by her son, Dan (Helen) Kalas; daughters, Carol Brezinka (Dave Biorn) and Jeanette Lashinski; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; sons-in-law, Jerry Lashinski and Dick Brezinka; and brother, Donald Pecka.
Pallbearers were Jeff Lashinski, Rich Brezinka, Dean Carlson, Carl Vowels, Rodney Alne and John Pecka.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Vivian Meade
Funeral service for Vivian C. Meade (nee O'Brien), 74, Coon Rapids, took place April 28 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids.
Meade died April 24, 2006.
She is survived by her children, Brian (Sherry), Colleen, Chuck (Heidi), Brenda and Shawn; grandchildren, Mandy, Jamus, Dylan, Tommy and Casey; and siblings, Al, Glen, Bert, Terry and June Hanson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; parents, James and Clara; and brothers, Richard, James, LeRoy, Earl and Daniel.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Arne Scharber
Funeral services for Arne (Santa) Scharber, 75, Princeton, took place April 27 at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, East Bethel. Rev. Brian Fragodt officiated.
Scharber died April 22, 2006 at his home. He was born Jan. 8, 1931 in Rogers to Albert and Helen Scharber. He grew up in and around Rogers and Corcoran. He served in the U.S. Army and worked at Federal Cartridge, as an auto dismantler, as an apartment manager and as a gambling professional with the Isanti Sportsman Club, the Princeton Jaycees and the Princeton American Legion. His was also a professional Santa.
He is survived by his wife, Rose; children, Steven (Wendy) Scharber, Lynnette (Verlin) Roberts, Donita Scharber, Francis (Mike) Karper, Richard (Beverly) Scharber, Harley (Carla) Swarm, Jr., Stewart (Debra) VanDusen, Ralph (Charlotte) Swarm, Kathy (Billy) VandenBerg, Vivian Sether, Lisa Swarm and Shari (Howard) Bixby; 26 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Loren Scharber, Dale (Thelma) Scharber; sister, Shirley Gnewikow; and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Bridget Couture, Michael and Melissa Stohl, Cory and Justin VanDusen and Jennifer Witte. Honorary pallbearers were John Couture and Harley Swarm, Jr. Ushers are Larry Steinlicht, Ralph Swarm, Bill and Kathy VandenBerg.
Interment was at Athens Lutheran Cemetery in rural Isanti. Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Homes.
Frederick Seelow
Funeral service for Frederick 'Fred' Seelow, 46, Coon Rapids, took place April 28 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville, Wis.
Seelow died unexpectedly April 23, 2006.
He is survived by his wife, Lana Seelow; parents, Fritz and Ardes Seelow; sister, Deborah; children, Jennifer Ruis (Jeremiah), Jane Seelow (Nick), Luke Seelow (Lynae), Gina Seelow (Jake); and family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Tom.
