Mary Krepsky
Funeral service for Mary I. Krepsky, 90, Crystal, formerly of Anoka, took place Dec. 29, 2004 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Michael Van Sloun officiated.
Krepsky died Dec. 23, 2004 in Crystal. She was born May 13, 1914 in Oak Grove, Tenn., to Brandt and Margaret Garrett and was a retired longtime nurse at the former Anoka State Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn and boyfriend Jerry Determan; brothers, Ed (Delores) and Jim (Angie) Garrett; sister, Mary Francis (Charlie) Sawer; sisters-in-law, Ginny Garrett and Genevive Neck; best friend, Carmen Flakus and family; and many nieces and nephews.
Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home.
Elizabeth Leibli
Funeral service for Elizabeth Ann Leibli, 82, Coon Rapids, took place Dec. 30, 2004 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids Chapel. Rev. Lynn Welton officiated.
Leibli died Dec. 25, 2004 in Columbia Heights. She was born Aug. 12, 1922 in St. Paul to Edward and Rosa Hunstock.
She is survived by her children, Tom (Ginger) Leibli, Marcy (Dan) Korbel and David Leibli; grandchildren, Jenny, Mike, Laura and Chris; great-grandson, Nathan; and sisters, Rose Damon and Katherine Buttweiler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee; and sisters, Helen and Germaine.
Interment was at Sunset Memorial Park, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home.
Evelyn Matthes
Funeral service for Evelyn R. Matthes, 93, Andover, took place Dec. 31, 2004 at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home. Rev. Norman Berg officiated.
Matthes died Dec. 27, 2004 in Andover. She was born March 6, 1911 in Owatonna to Peter and Lydia Coop.
She is survived by her son, James; sister, Esther Arndt; brother, John Coop; nephews, Roger Banta and Gene Miller; nieces, Bonnie Banta, Doris Hanson and Darline Hanson; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett.
Pallbearers were Kevin, Ronald, Robert and Russell Banta, Sunrise Ehn and Thomas Lundholm.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home.
Ann Talle
Funeral service for Ann Kris Talle, 43, Anoka, took place Jan. 4, 2005 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Timothy Johnson officiated.
Talle died accidentally Dec. 28, 2004. She was born July 2, 1961 in Minneapolis to Herman and Dodie Talle.
She is survived by her parents, Herman and Dodie; brother, Tom (Sarah); and uncles, aunts and many cousins.
Interment was at Glenwood Church Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Charles Gale
Funeral service for Charles L. 'Chuck' Gale, 68, Andover, took place Jan. 7, 2005 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Rev. Jay Neu officiated.
Gale died Jan. 2, 2005. He was born Aug. 26, 1936 in Minneapolis. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War, was a retired truck driver with 30 years of service and drove a tour bus after retirement.
He is survived by his wife, Dar; children, Shelly (David) Strebel, Barbara (Scott) Westly, Gordon, Chad Sr., Brad (Kristen); grandchildren, Chad Jr., Kristine, Bianca, Joe and Jaldann; brother, Gordon (Margo); sister, Donna (Bob) Rehard; sisters-in-law, Kaye, Fran and LuVerne; brothers-in-law, LeRoy and Curt; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene Anderson and Gordon Gale.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
DelRoy Gehrke Sr.
Funeral service for DelRoy Gehrke Sr., 72, St. Francis, took place Jan. 11 at Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel. Rev. Roger Anderson officiated.
Gehrke died Jan. 8, 2005 at Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis. He was born April 17, 1933 in Fairhaven to Fritz and Clara Gehrke. He was a farmer and heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Gregory Gehrke of St. Francis, Larry (Paulette) Gehrke of Isanti, Mark (Carol) Gehrke of Isanti, Kenneth (Suzan) Gehrke of Isanti, Delry (Susan Gehrke Jr. of Isanti, Susan (Ronney) Kowalsky of Cambridge, Wayne (Valerie) Gehrke of East Bethel; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Orvella (Harold) Babeau of Columbia Heights, Clista DeChaney of Virginia Beach, Va., Clementine (Dwane) Schmidt of Annandale, Florence (Lloyd) DeHeer of Litchfield, Linda (Eugene) Schlutter of St. Cloud; and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Delroy Jr., Gregory, Kenneth, Larry, Mark, Michael and Wayne Gehrke.
Interment was at Isanti Union Cemetery. Arrangements were by Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel.
Jean Herman
Funeral service for Jean Florence Herman, 72, Coon Rapids, took place Jan. 11 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Mike Van Sloun officiated.
Herman died Jan. 7, 2005 at Guardian Angels Care Center, Elk River. She was born May 16, 1932 in Minneapolis to Arthur Charles and Florence Elizabeth (Nishanan) Hurley. She was retired from clerical work at IDS.
She is survived by her husband, John; sons, Reed (Sandy), Ross (sandy) and Randy (Peggy); grandchildren, Chasady, Nicole (Adam), Steven, Angela, Tyler, Connor and Madisen; great-grandchildren, Tobias, Taetum; brothers, Harvey and Clayton Hurley; sister, Carol Stillday; and many other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Adam and Nicole Dehn, Steven Herman, Chasady Cochran, and Joey, Justin and Phil Geier.
Interment was at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Philip Imholte
Funeral service for Philip L. Imholte, 74, Osseo, took place Jan. 6, 2005 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Michael A. Van Sloun officiated.
Imholte died Dec. 31, 2004 in New Hope. He was born Jan. 14, 1930 in Clear Lake to Leo F. Imholte and Alma Hilsgen and was a telecommunications manager.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne; sons, Bruce (Ginny), Stephen (Rachael), Jerry (Linda) and Douglas (Nancy); daughter, Barbara Volney, Sharon (Jeff) Courneya and Patti (Eric) Olson; 19 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Clarence, Donald (Ellen) and John (Lorraine) Imholte; sisters, Florentine Iten and Bernelda (Willis) Keske; sister-in-law, Mary Imholte; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Al.
Interment was at St. Marcus Catholic Cemetery, Clear Lake. Arrangements were by Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home.
Andrea Johnson
Funeral service for Andrea Lynn Johnson, 38, Princeton, took place Jan. 8 at New Life Christian Center. Rev. Chuck Pruett officiated.
Johnson died Jan. 4, 2005 at Fairview Regional Northland Hospital, Princeton. She was born Sept. 6, 1966 in Anoka to Floyd A. and JoAnne E. (Beltrand) Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Jack; daughter, Ashley; parents, Floyd and JoAnne; sisters, Debbie (Bob) Knight, Sherry (Randy) Brabant, Denise (Ron) Burns, Robyn (Jason) Bayerl, Nikki (Greg) Meyer; seven nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers were Tom Brabant, Joe Burns, Jack Bayerl, Blake Katzenmaier and Jeff, Tim and Steve Hanson.

Gerald Olson
Funeral service for Gerald J. 'Jerry' Olson, 70, Blaine, took place Jan. 11 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids. Dr. Cary Flink officiated.
Olson died Jan. 6, 2005 at his home. He was born July 3, 1934 in Superior, Wis.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; children, Sherri Martin, Gerald Tennier, Larry Tennier, Tamara (Charles) Jodell, Terrie Rainer, Gary Barry, Jeffery, Shelley, LorRae (Alan) Strickland and Mark; 58 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Dale, sisters, Pat and Darlene; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kerri Ann.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
Cora Patchen
Funeral service for Cora E. Patchen, 90, Anoka, formerly of Champlin, took place Jan. 13 at Zion Lutheran Church, Anoka. Rev. Norm Berg officiated.
Patchen died Jan. 10, 2005 at Twin Rivers Care Center. Anoka. She was born Aug. 16, 1914 in Coon Rapids to Jonas and Amanda (Johnson) Westman and was retired from Federal Cartridge.
She is survived by her children, Sandra (Frank) Skaggs of California; Robert (Suzanne) Anderson of Champlin, Marvin (Denise) Anderson of Brooklyn Park; stepchildren, Gary (Sharon) Patchen and Tony (Carol) Patchen, all of Anoka, Carole (Chuck) Eiolola of Coon Rapids, Bonnie Casper of Illinois; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Walter Westman of White Bear Lake; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Edward Anderson and Melvin Patchen.
Pallbearers were Sara, Corey, Jesse, Shawn, Ryan and Mark Anderson.
Interment was at Champlin Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
