Marjorie Wredberg

Funeral service for Marjorie Katherine (Burquest) Wredberg, 83, Cambridge, formerly of Burns Township, took place Feb. 25 at North Isanti Baptist Church. Revs. Jonathan Larson and Jim Snow officiated.

Wredberg died Feb. 20, 2005 at Grandview Christian Home. She was born in Seattle, Wash., June 27, 1921 to William and Esther (Bergquist) Burquest. She worked at Frisch's Department Store in Anoka and then later at Thermo-Serv.

She is survived by her children, Kathi (Jerry) Cleveland of Elk River, Faye (Gary) Schumacher of Salinas, Calif., Dave (Sandy) Wredberg of Rocky Mount, N.C., Marlys (Robert) Seidel of Monterey, Calif., and Earl (Becky) Wredberg of DeForest, Wis.; sisters, Rach Haase and Lilah Atkins; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don.

Pallbearers were Russ and Lyle Peterson, Bruce, Jerry, Bill, Tim, Tom and Mike Atkins. Honorary pallbearers were Pete and Rob Haase.

Interment was at Lakeview Cemetery, Nowthen. Arrangements were by Carlson-Lillemoen Funeral Home, Cambridge.

Carol Alatorre

Funeral service for Carol J. Alatorre, 65, Coon Rapids, took place March 8 at Grace Lutheran Church.

Alatorre died March 4, 2005.

She is survived by her daughters, Rene (Tom) Stewart, Michele (Mark) Martinez and Darcy (Richard) Schlechter; grandchildren, Christopher, Courtney and Tyler Stewart, Lexi Martinez, Brittany, Stephanie and Ian Schlechter; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond.

Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Albert Bergerson

Visitation for Albert Julian Bergerson, 83, Lauire, Mo., formerly of Coon Rapids, took place March 4 at Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Mo.

Bergerson died March 2, 2005 at Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach, Mo. He was born Sept., 16, 1921 in Cuba. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service in Coon Rapids.

He is survived by his son-in-law, Bill Walton; grandson, Ben Walton; and granddaughter, Cassie Walton, all of Sunrise Beach, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marian; son, Gregg Bergerson; daughter Julie Walton; three brothers; and two sisters.

Interment will be at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids, at a later date. Arrangements were by Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home, Camdenton, Mo.

Gregory Boyum

Funeral service for Gregory W. Boyum, 48, Isanti, took place March 8 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Isanti. Rev Jose Edayadiyil officiated.

Boyum died March 4, 2005 at his home. He was a 1974 graduate of Anoka High School.

He is survived by his son, Ben Boyum; daughter, Megan (Nick) Westmoreland; grandson, Mason 'Jimmy;' seven brothers; four sisters; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gloyd and Loretta; and brother, Thomas.

Interment was in St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery, Oak Grove. Arrangements were with Strike Funeral Home - Isanti Chapel.

Stella Chase

Funeral service for Stella M. Chase, 88, Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Minneapolis, took place March 10 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids.

Chase died Feb. 23, 2005.

She is survived by her children, Shirley Carey, Carole Ondrey and Joe Chase; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard.

Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.

Gerald Dibble

Funeral service for Gerald Dwaine Dibble, 42, Anoka, took place March 1 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Mike Van Sloun officiated.

Dibble died March 4, 2005 at his home. He was born June 27, 1961 in Minneapolis to Charles Edward and Adrienne Marie (Bosto) Dibble. He was a driver for Coca Cola Co.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa; children, Ashley, Brieane and Chase; grandson, Jayson; mother, Adrienne; sister, Linda Dibble; brothers, Joe (Joni), Jeff (Audrey) and Chuckie Dibble; godson, Jake Dibble; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles; and brother, Douglas.

Pallbearers were Joe Jr., Jeff Jr. and Jake Dibble, Donny Babineau, Ryan Theisen, Jon Aust and Greg Pajak.

Interment was at Crystal Lake Cemetery. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Marion Gleason

Funeral service for Marion R. Gleason, 95, Anoka, formerly of Ramsey, took place March 9 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Michael Van Sloun officiated.

Gleason died March 4, 2005 at Anoka Care Center. She was born Nov. 27, 1909 in Dixon, S.D., to Alfred Hoaglund and Luetta Boane.

She is survived by her son, Tom (Winnie) Gleason; daughter, Mary Lou (Dennis) Peterson; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; sisters; husband, Joseph Gleason; stepdaughter, Charlotte Shaw; one grandson; and one great-granddaughter.

Pallbearers were Kathy Walsh, Molly Disney, Joe Peterson, Rich Bartel, Scott Langton and Ben Manthey. Honorary pallbearer was Marck Manthey.

Interment was at Gethsemane Cemetery, New Hope. Arrangements were by Gearhart.

Stella Hill

Funeral service for Stella V. Hill, 83, Anoka, formerly of Coon Rapids, took place March 9 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Glencoe. Rev. Ronald Mathison officiated.

Hill died March 4, 2005 at Anoka Care Center. She was born March 24, 1921 in Plato to John and Wilhemina (Dose) Moehring. She was a retired registered nurse at the former Anoka State Hospital.

She is survived by her sons, John Hathaway and James Hill; daughter, Kathleen (Lyle) Petersen; grandchildren, Christopher, Kellie, Elizabeth and Benjamin; sisters, Minna Freiberg, Lorna Meyer and Lillian Tucholke; brothers, Ruben and John (Jane) Moehring; brother-in-law, Arthur Wisch; and many relatives.

She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mabel Bishop, Rosa Grout and Frances Wisch; brothers-in-law, Orwin Tucholke, Armond Meyer, Harry Bishop and Kenneth Freiberg; and sister-in-law, Helen Moehring.

Interment was at First Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery. Arrangements were by Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home.

Michele Krill

Funeral service for Michelle Ann Krill, 33, Coon Rapids, took place March 3 at Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids. Rev. Jim Martin officiated.

Krill died Feb. 28, 2005 in Minneapolis. She was born Aug. 25, 1971 in Fridley to Thomas Krill and Pamela Fredrickson and was a project manager in the computer industry.

She is survived by her mother, Pam Krill; father, Thomas (Susan) Krill; grandparents, Abbie and Bob Larsen and Carole Fredrickson; uncles, Joe (Marie), Randal (Marge) and Dwight (Nan); aunts, Debbie (Bob) and Susan; and many special cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael.

Interment was private. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.

Edith Payette

Funeral service for Edith M. 'Murphy' Payette, 81, Anoka, will take place Tuesday, March 15 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Anoka. Rev. Mike Van Sloun will officiate.

Payette died March 6, 2005 at her home. She was born Aug. 6, 1923 in Anoka to Edmund and Isabelle McArdle and was retired from clerical work at Anoka Electric Cooperative.

She is survived by her husband, Laurence; daughters, Carol (Butch) Maness, Cathy (Ken) Adam; grandchildren, Lori (Mark) Schneider, Bill Maness, Wendy (Randy) Cowart, Cyle (Colleen) West; great-grandchildren, Davin, Derek, Lilly, Ashley, Kevin, Matthew and Meagan; sister, Jean Stack; brother, Rodney (Lois) McArdle; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Neil McArdle.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements are by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.

Peggy Sargent

Funeral service for Peggy Ann Sargent (Warns), 44, Coon Rapids, took place March 7, 2005 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids.

She died on Wednesday, March 2, 2005.

She is survived by her husband, Michael; children, Darien, Logan and Lucas; parents, Robert and Ann Warns; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Shields (Bill), Sandra LaPlante (James), Michelle Redberg (Tim); brothers-in-law, Donald Sargent (Julie), Dennis Sargent (Carline); nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Interment was at Lakewood Cemetery. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
