Stacey Widstrom
Funeral service for Stacey Lee Widstrom, 40, Brooklyn Center, took place Aug. 26 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel, Anoka. Rev. Liane S. Rock officiated.
Widstrom died Aug. 19, 2005 at her home. She was born May 28, 1965 in Minneapolis and was a supervisor at Medtronic.
She is survived by her mother, Linda Widstrom; sons, Charles (Krista), Tim and Robert; granddaughters, Tatum and Breanna; brothers, Tory (Caneisha), Rico (Denise); sister, Karen Widstrom; eight nieces; five nephews; and one great-niece.
Pallbearers were Tory, Rico, Troy and Tony Widstrom, Jeff Cokley and Terry Freeman.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
Anthony Celestino
Funeral service for Anthony (Tony) Celestino, 80, Coon Rapids, took place Sept. 7 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids. Rev. David Hennen officiated.
Celestino died Aug. 30, 2005 in Coon Rapids. He was born Jan. 25, 1925 in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., to Luigi and Mary Celestino. He was a retired construction foreman and a lifetime VFW member. He and his wife Tina were married in 1945 in Naples, Italy, while he was serving in the Air Force during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Tina; sons, Jim (Sheryl) and Mark; daughters, Ann Warnke, Angy (Dennis) Duchesneau.daughters-in-law, Karen and Barbara; grandchildren, Kim (Andrew), Kevin, Daniel, Christopher, Elissa, Dawson, Mandylen and Kathy; and great-grandchildren, Ella and Emma.
He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph.
Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
Martha Ely
Martha Ruth Ely, 85, Anoka, died Sept. 1, 2005 at Twin Rivers Care Center, Anoka. She was born Jan. 1, 1920 in Edina, Mo., to Burton Albert and Celeste (Cody) Crank.
She is survived by her husband, Victor; daughters, Anne "Micky" Ely of Golden Valley and Susan Graves of Champlin; granddaughter, Anne Vinje; and brother, Bud Crank of Missouri.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Interment was private. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Elmer Feldick
Graveside service for Elmer Charles Feldick, 88, Anoka, formerly of West St. Paul, took place Sept. 3 at Riverview Cemetery, St. Paul. Rev. Gene H. Heglund officiated.
Feldick died Aug. 31, 2005 at Mercy Hospital. He was born Aug. 23, 1917 in Graceville to Charles Ben and Mabel (Rinke) Feldick. He was a retired mechanic at Sears Imports Mercedez Benz dealership.
He is survived by his wife, Mae.
Interment was at Riverview Cemetery, St. Paul. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home, Anoka.
Margo Howell
Funeral service for Margo Howell (Sullivan), 47, Coon Rapids, took place Sept. 3 at Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids. Rev. Dennis Zehren officiated.
Howell died Aug. 30, 2005. She was born Aug. 10, 1958 in La Mesa, Calif., to Thomas and Margaret (Hanson) Sullivan. She was a law clerk.
She is survived by her sons, Lee (Asunta) and Jerry (Linette) Howell; grandchildren, Sean, Alexandra, Vickie and Sophia; mother, Margaret Sullivan; brothers, Greg (Mary Lee), Jim (Beverly), Terry (Patty) and Tim (Cathy) Sullivan; sisters, Lois (Steve) Whittet, Patty (Ed) Grauning, Kathy Sullivan, Mary Jo (Barry) Seaberg, Rose (Dan) Williams, Kelly (Doug) Walch; fiance, Ken Munn; and many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Tom Sullivan.
Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery, Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Eileen Hyland
Funeral service for Eileen D. Hyland, 86, Coon Rapids, took place Sept. 2 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Coon Rapids.
She died Aug. 30, 2005.
She is survived by her children, Bonnie (Fidells) Umeh, Mary, Patricia, Owen, Eileen (Michael) Couture, Kevin (Carol); nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, James (Loretta) Lang, Lorraine Bower, Mary Jane Lang, Marcella (Richard) Henschell, Betty (Rocky) Rossbach and Robert (Irene) Lang; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen; and sisters, Mildred Skonnord and Loretta Reuteier.
Interment was at Epiphany Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
Beryl Morissette
Funeral service for Beryl Kannette Morissette, 88, Anoka, took place Aug. 27 at Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Chapel, Anoka. Rev. Abe Cardosa officiated.
Morissette died Aug. 23, 2005 at Innsbruck Care Center, New Brighton. She was born Aug. 5, 1917 in Minneapolis to John Baltus and Elna O. (Tiller) Fiedler. She was a retired 20-plus year employee of Anoka State Hospital, former member of the Anoka State Hospital Women's Auxiliary, past president of the Anoka American Legion Women's Auxiliary and senior outreach coordinator for 10 years for Anoka County.
She is survived by her daughters, Lael Pfeifer of Fridley, Sharon (Dick) Guimont of Anoka, Sheila (Cliff) Sorenson of Coon Rapids, Lynn Beltrand of Mora; son, Bill Goss of Coon Rapids; significant other, Bill Dickinson of Anoka; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Dwight (Kay) Skinner of Anoka.
Pallbearers were Robby Goss, Brandon Guimont, Nick Le, Nathan Nguyen and Bob and Brett Pfeifer.
Interment was at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka. Arrangements were by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home.
Wendell Ollhoff
Memorial service for Wendell Ivan Ollhoff (Diersen), 37, took place Sept. 1 at Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel, Coon Rapids.
Ollhoff died Aug. 23, 2005 at North Memorial Medical Center. He was born June 10, 1968 in Caledonia to Ivan P. and Kathleen R. (Peterson) Diersen. He worked as a quality control inspector in the Twin Cities area.
He is survived by his parents, Ivan (Linda) Diersen of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Kathleen (Joseph) Pisano of Aitkin; paternal grand-mother, Esther Diersen of Eitzen; daughter, Sharonda Little of Milaca; son, Devin Guenther of Elk River; sisters, Angelica (Jerry) Reiter of Mounds View, Aimee (Jason) Triemert of Isanti, Charnell Diersen of Monticello; brother, Michael Ollhoff of Blaine; half-brothers, Joel (Crystal) Diersen of Highland and David (Billie) Diersen of Abbington, Pa.; and by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Albert H. Diersen of Eitzen; and maternal grandparents, Sammy and Myrtle (Houge) Peterson of Caledonia.
Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Seman Chapel.
Isaac Overton
Funeral service for Isaac Jordan Overton, 11, Coon Rapids, took place Sept. 3 at Church of the Resurrection, Brooklyn Park. Rev. Jim Rickard officiated.
Overton died Aug. 30, 2005 in Coon Rapids. He was born April 19, 1994 in Nashville, Tenn., to Vincent and Rebecca Overton. He was a student.
He is survived by his parents, Vince and Becky; brothers, Cody, Elijah, Solomon and Asa; sister, Cassiah; grandparents, Ken and Betty Thompson and Leon and Vicki Hodgson; aunts, uncles and cousins; and many friends.
Interment was at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
James Young
Funeral service for James B. Young, 67, Anoka, took place Aug. 30 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Minneapolis. Rev. Charles Froehle officiated.
Young died Aug. 26, 2005 at University of Minnesota Fairview Hospital from respiratory failure following cancer surgery. He was born March 28, 1938 in Minneapolis to Bernard J. and Florence M. (DeMarsh) Young. He was a retired sergeant of the Army National Guard of Minnesota and taught art for 29 years at Coon Rapids Junior High (now Middle) School.
He is survived by his sons, Erich (Victoria), Mike (Lisa) and William; grandchildren, Miranda and Crystal; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly; and parents, Bernard and Florence Young.
Pallbearers were Artie Bohm, Chuck Burnham, Alan Ciesielczyk, Gary DeLaitsch, Don Goar, Bob Nehring and Ron Scobie.
Interment was at Resurrection Cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Washburn-McReavy Funeral Home, Northeast Minneapolis Chapel.
Judith Andreason
Funeral service for Judith Marie Andreason, 57, Blaine, took place Sept. 8 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, Blaine. Rev. Jason R. Wahlstrom officiated.
Andreason died Sept. 3, 2005 in Coon Rapids. She was born May 10, 1948 in Marshfield, Wis., to John and Sophie Trunkel and was a secretary at Honeywell.
She is survived by her sons, Scott (Ann) Wessel, Steven (Nickie), Chuck (Berradette); daughter, Kim (Dave); former husband, Allan Wessel; grandchildren, Laura, Abigail, Emily, Laura Rose Wessel and Lionel; great-grandson, William Nicolas Randall; mother, Sophie Trunkel; brothers, John (Carol), Bob (Joanne), Jack (Sara) and Danny (Crystal) Trunkel; and sister, Kathy (Dale) Severson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck.
Interment was at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
Lucille Arendt
Funeral service for Lucille Laura Arendt, 88, Columbia Heights, took place Sept. 8 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Rev. Al Backmann officiated.
Arendt died Sept. 1, 2005 in Fridley. She was born June 30, 1917 to August and Suzanna Klein.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence; sons, Jeff Arendt (fiancee Judy); Jonathan Arendt (June); daughter, Susan Sundeen (Kurt); grandchildren, Robin Arendt, Jeff Arendt Jr. (Tracy), Melissa and Kristopher Sundeen; and great-grandchildren, Ashley, Allison, Jake and Wesley.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jamie.
Interment was private at St. Mary's Cemetery, Minneapolis. Arrangements were by Gearhart Funeral Home, Coon Rapids.
